I love the mirror and the oil rubbed bronze finish, but after one month, the finish is wearing off in the bottom corner.

I was definitely a quality medicine cabinet. I love it.

The mirrors are beautiful in the box and look even better installed! I purchased them and had them installed to replace a large one piece mirror and they are beautiful! They are oil rubbed bronze which is hard to find and match my bathroom fixtures so I am very pleased! An added bonus they are all mirrored glass inside and cone with cubbies or storage cubes. I just had them installed today and will update my review if I have any issues when I put them to use.

The view is stunning

After hanging the cabinet, I turned on the bathroom light and went to get my wife to show her. Within the 5 minutes it was hanging on the wall, the upper border of the cabinet MELTED under my vanity light (see attached photos). Hours of my life gone hanging the thing, more hours yet to disappear while getting this piece of junk off my wall and getting reimbursed. Poor quality, do not waste any time with this. I would not recommend buying this product.

I give it three stars because it is a good cabinet functionally, but after only 8 months the finish is scratching and wearing off. Disapointed

We installed this flush mounted in our bath remodel. This was not easy as DWV pipe needed to be re-routed, studs cut and header installed. This being said, it is the only way to have a nice looking cabinet. The end result is a beautiful, functional addition to a remodel. This cabinet provides lots of space to hide the thing that lay on vanities. The hinge adjustment can be a challenge but when set stays in position.

The size of this cabinet and amount of storage is good. However, the color is NOT brushed nickel (see pic - New faucet fixtures are brushed nickel-I don’t know what color this cabinet is; maybe a coppery-nickel) . Also, the hinges squeak and pop, and the edges of this cabinet are sharp.

We installed this medicine cabinet last July and were extremely pleased. Two week ago I noticed a shiny spot on the frame and from that point forward, the finish has been coming off. We contacted the manufacturer, but they did not stand behind their product. Home Depot got involved and once again appealed to the manufacturer. They too were unsuccessful. This is obviously a defect in the manufacturing process. There is no way a fixture in a bathroom should have the finish sluff off. Very disappointed.

We loved this mirror when we got it. But since we have had it, there have been 2 springs that literally shot out across our bathroom when we opened the mirror. The first time it happened we had no idea what it was or where it came from. The 2nd time happened when my 11 year old went to brush her teeth. It wasn't a simple pop it literally shot out. It took some time to figure out where it came from. It is from the middle of the hinges. The mirror still closes but it was super scary. Since the mirror was installed when the bathroom was remodeled it isn't like we can just take it back. Now we are all super hesitant to open the mirror worried when the last one will break, and if it breaks we worry our mirror will no longer close.

I just recently remodeled my bathroom and fell in love with this mirror at Home Depot. I’ve been enjoying my mirror (it’s been a few months) until today when I noticed that pieces of the hardware holding the door broke and it’s not properly working. I’m afraid now the door itself is going to fall off and ruin my newly remodeled bathroom. I’m extremely disappointed and do not recommend this product.

I would NEVER pay this kind of money for something made this CHEAPLY!! The PLASTIC shelf holders have little PLASTIC NUBS that BARELY line up and BARELY sit in the shallow HOLES. I’m very worried about the glass shelves staying in. If the contractor hadn’t already installed it in my wall, I would DEFINITELY return it!!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!

Excellent and beautiful mirror thats works wonderfully. It fits perfectly recessed (but can be surfaced mounted. I had to replace a 24x30 mirror and searched until I found this mirror. Happy I got it. It’s been over a month and I’m very pleased with it. The mirror adds a classy look to the bathroom and inside adds a very elegant touch since it’s all mirrors too. The soft closing door is a huge plus and it’s nice not to hear a medicine cabinet door bang. Open it and just let it go. It comes with inside compartments for your own shavers, toothbrushes, qtips or cotton balls and makeup brushes and four roomy shelves. The compartments are movable if you wish to move them. Our family is very happy with this purchase. Overall, would highly recommend!!

The Medicine cabinet is great. The nice thing is it can be surface mounted or recessed that is a great option. The unit it self is well made and heavy so make sure you are placing your fasteners in studs if surface mounting. Pretty straight forward install and took me no time at all. The oil rubbed bronze finish is nice and has held up well over time.

Oh WOW! Where do I begin? This medicine cabinet is a perfect match for my small house. The product arrived packed very secure and well protected from any possible shipping bumps and hiccups. There are so many positives about the cabinet, I do not know which is my favorite. First there is the option to install the cabinet sub surface or in the wall or on the surface of the wall. If surface mounted, the cabinet sides have mirrored panels that completely cover the exposed sides of the cabinet. Second the cabinet can be mounted so the door can open from left to right or from right to left. The cabinet is almost completely mirrored. The exterior of the cabinet, sides and front mirrors are fog free and makes for a nice clean and clear mirror if you have just taken a steamy shower. All the interior mirrors are not fog free however. Finally the interior of the cabinet is much more spacious than I expected. With 3 adjustable glass shelves, you can fit almost anything into this cabinet. There is a plethora of storage in this medicine cabinet. Installation was quick and easy once I decided on placement of the cabinet, the installation took about 45 minutes. However, keep in mind, my cabinet was mounted with the surface mounted option.

The mirror is gorgeous and exactly what i was looking for. I love the little bins and how it has a place for our toothbrushes. The mirror doesnt fog after the shower. It is solid. It is the perfect piece for my bathroom over a pedestal sink. Love it.

This matches great with everything else in the main bathroom. The cabinet is well made and of excellent construction. I like how it has mirrors on the inside too. the door opens and closes easily. I just installed it so I cannot comment on the fog free mirror. I would say the least liked part of this was installing it. Not so much with the mirror itself but cutting out the wall and getting the rough in set up to install it in the wall. The cabinet I replaced was a flush mount and I didn't like how it stuck out so far and close to the sink that I would hit my head on it every once in while when washing my face or brushing my teeth. I put this one a little higher up and just the door sticks out. The hole I cut in the wall went straight into my attic so there was insulation involved, spackling, leveling, painting, and a lot of time. It took about 18 hours of work over two weekends but it only took about a half hour to actually install the mirror itself. If you don't mind it sticking out from the wall this would be much easier but I am glad I took the time to do this right!

This Home Decorators Collection 24 in. x 30 in. Fog Free Recessed or Surface Mount Medicine Cabinet in Oil Rubbed Bronze is definitely made of high quality construction. Packaged EXTREMELY well! The frame is made of aluminum, not cheap stuff.. The inside of the cabinet is also mirrored which looks very cool. It's also great that you have a choice of how to install - surface mount or recessed. If you go with surface mouth it comes with matching side panels to use for that complete look you want and need! Highly recommended!

The Home decorators collection 24 inch by 30 inch fog free recessed or surface mount medicine cabinet in oil rubbed bronze is a beautiful accessory to a bathroom remodel or an upgrade from a builder's grade medicine cabinet... It has a mirror finish on the inside of the door and behind the shefves and bins... Great for women who would like to open the cabinet an view the their back while looking in a bathroom mirror.

Fog Free Recessed or Surface Mount Medicine Cabinet in Oil Rubbed Bronze is a very nice mirror for the bathroom it is heavy but manageable to install with 2 people the shelves and bins are a really nice feature and it does come with all the hardware to install but I did not like the way it is installed with the system that they use, a lot of measuring and trial and error if you are going to surface mount it but if you are going to recess it then it is very easy to install. I gave it a 4 star review only cause the surface mount is harder then an average mirror medicine cabinet.

This is a superbly constructed medicine cabinet! I can’t be more happy. The cabinet’s aluminum frame is really well-constructed. Keep in mind the dimensions if you’re thinking of installing this in a recess. The width of the aluminum cabinet is 23 inches, with the mirror/door at 24 inches. I’m replacing another surface mounted medicine cabinet with this beauty, so no worries about cutting into the drywall! Three included shelves, the door can be adjusted to swing either left or right! Fog-free glass coating and lovely oil-rubbed finish. Just lovely!

Very high quality cabinet! This unit is heavy, probably because of the glass and sturdiness of the build quality. I didn't even consider surface mounting because of the size and weight. Also, the look of the recess mount option was worth the trouble of reframing the studs in the wall and doing some drywall repair. The packaging was extremely impressive. The box with the cabinet was tightly packed in another box with plastic air bags. All the glass shelves and sides were packed tightly encased in Styrofoam...extremely well protected. It arrived in perfect condition.

This Home Decorators Collection 24 inch by 30 inch fog free recessed or surface mounted medicine cabinet in rubbed bronze is very stylish and fairly heavy. I was going to surface mount this but after looking at the 6 inch mounting bracket and corner clips I am concerned that the recessed mounting would be a more appropriate way to go about the installation of the gorgeous mirror.

I received my cabinet in good condition, it was packed very well. I opened the box and lined up all the small parts and read the instructions first, that seemed to make it go very fast. It is all assembled you just need to hang it on the wall and put in the shelves. The attaching parts , except the screws, are all good quality and the preinstalled hinges appear very sturdy.The cabinet is all bright aluminum and the door is self closing from about 6 inches open. Opening the door is a little different, there is no knob or handle and it is flush with the cabinet, but after a couple times it is ok. I really like the mass of mirrors, you can position the door inner mirror with the mirror behind the shelves and get a profile and almost rear view. The cabinet is a little heavy at 44 pounds but the attaching hardware holds it easily. I guess the big deal is the fog free mirrors and it is nice, I take very long, hot showers so that saves me a little time trying to clear a mirror.. It is actually the nicest medicine cabinet I have ever had, really first class and I love the way it fits the design of my bathroom, I could not be more pleased.

Purchased this product and had a professional install it. It couldn't be recessed because of what was behind the wall. One mirror (for one of the sides) was shattered, which we realized after the rest was installed, but it wasn't a big deal because that side wasn't visible. Within two days the other mirrored side FELL OFF OF THE CABINET (only held by adhesive), shattered all over the bathroom floor. Probably scared the crap out of our animals. It's unfortunate because the cabinet is solid and sturdy, but clearly the mirrored sides are not workable. And now what do I do? I can't take the whole cabinet off to return it. Ugh.

I purchased two of these for my daughter's bathroom remodel. The are built very well, good finish and high quality. Everyone is amazed that I bough them at Home Depot.

Just remodeled my 1968 bathroom and love this cabinet. It is fog free unless you take really long, steamy hot showers. The top of the mirror did fog and the inside definitely fogs. My only issue is the door doesn't sit flush with the cabinet from middle to the top. Lots of room on the inside and the inside mirror is great for close ups if needed.

This is a great medicine cabinet. I was able to install it easily and it is a quality product. It does not extend out much from the wall, so it looks like it is just a mirror. It holds a super amount. We weren’t sure what how the hanging accessory bins would work, but we actually ended up really liking them. Having one that holds toothbrushes and paste is very handy. We didn’t even end up installing one of the shelves, because we had so much room. When opening the door it seems a little heavy, but the self close is nice.

I got this mirror for a rental property, but after unpacking it, I am seriously thinking about keeping it for my home – it is that nice. This medicine cabinet was one of the best packed medicine cabinets I have received. It was packed a box within a box, in a plastic bag and the frame is also shrink wrapped! I am mounting this mirror in a newly constructed bathroom so it will be recessed. If you are mounting it on the wall, they include mirrors for the sides. The installation instructions are clear and easy to follow. My bathroom remodel is taking longer than expected, so I haven’t tested out the fog free feature of this mirror. However, even if the ‘fog free’ doesn’t live up to the hype, this mirror is worth the price. The slots for installing your shelves are plenty and spaced about 2” apart so you have plenty of options on shelf placement. This is really important since the prior mirror I got made it impossible to use all three shelves if you wanted a shelf to store tall (i.e., 8”) items. This mirror has a really cool organization feature. It includes three removable dishwasher safe bins that mount on a special shelf bracket. This is perfect for our new bathroom since it will have a pedestal sink and no drawers to store small stuff. Highly recommend!

This 24 inch by 30 inch fog free framed bathroom medicine cabinet is unlike any medicine cabinet I have ever seen. The cabinet is high quality and built of durable materials, can either be installed in the wall flush mounted or hung on the wall. I personally installed the cabinet via surface mount on the wall. Installation is simple as long as you read the instructions comes with everything you need to mount the cabinet. Can be mounted either right or left door swing, simple flip the cabinet 180 degrees, no need to take door off and re-install. The best part about this cabinet has to be the mirrors not only on the outside, but on the inside of the door and as the backing of the cabinet inside, the mirrors also have an anti-fog coating making it perfect for the bathroom. The glass shelves are an added touch that makes the inside look clean and simple. Additionally, the cabinet comes with storage/organization buckets to hold all kinds of items.
