This file cabinet fits well with my other home office furniture and it was fairly easy to assemble.

After reading the negative reviews, I took a chance and bought this. Regret it completely, It is put together with cam locks and the holes are not positioned correctly. For example, the horizontal divider between top and bottom drawers is flush on one side and off by 3/16" on the other over the 18" drawer front. This kind of inaccuracy in furniture is inexcusable and it looks real bad. Stopped assembling and will return to store. No way to get the parts back in the box though. Expensive Junk.

Straight-forward assembly with clear instructions. Looks good even though it's veneer. The core is a bit softer than OSB or MDF. Comes in one heck of a lot of styrofoam packing, but it did arrive in perfect condition. Seems solid in use. The drawers are a bit short (front-to back) but with 4 of them there's more room than the longer 2-drawer cabinet.

This is a really nice file cabinet! Came well packed so no damage. Box was heavy so keep that in mind if you need to move it once delivered. It was straightforward to assemble with good instructions and did not require any special tools. We have it all loaded up with files and so far (a couple of months) it has been great. Fits in nicely with the other furniture in the room as well. The top is big enough to hold a printer which was a great plus for me. Highly recommend it!

Disappointed it’s not solid oak

Beautiful!!! Easy to assemble. Did it myself without husband's help. Directions easy to understand and all the pieces were numbered so no guessing. Solid and classy! Wonderful way to file documents without the appearance of a file cabinet. Goes with the decor of the room as another beautiful wood drawer. Love it! Received amazing compliments!

I recently purchased and assembled this. I consider myself handy when it comes to assembly - this took me approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to figure out. When I put the bottom drawer in, it did not slide well. My husband inspected it and noted that the ball bearings had fallen out on one of the drawer slides. I reached out to Home Depot and spoke to someone who was very nice, and I believe took the matter as far as she could. She gave me options to return it or to submit a request to the manufacturer for a replacement part. Given the time is took to assemble, the 86 pounds it weighs, and the fact that my husband could install a new drawer slide, I asked for the part. Well the manufacturer never replied so my husband ordered a new slide for $60+ from another company. I asked Home Depot to consider discounting the item since it caused us additional expense, but they have not replied. This would have been a complete frustration if I had not had my husband's assistance as I do not think I would have figured out why the drawer wasn't sliding. I could not have lifted it to return it. There was an option to contact the online department and request a reorder and pick process. Possibly that would have been manageable, but I don't know what that would have entailed except that I would have had to assemble another unit. So as nice as it looks, I don't recommend it unless you can plan out your return scenario and are willing to invest the 1 to 2 hours to see if yours is properly functioning.

Nice file cabinet. Mostly wood, but we'll designed for support. Good for price!!

Nice wood, very sturdy.

Easy to put together and robust enough to stand on... love it.

I'm really pleased with this filing cabinet. It is very sturdy and the drawers slide easily even when full of files. Most of the structural parts are solid wood and what is veneer is of high quality. Assembly was quite easy and took about 2 hours with simple tools. My only nit pick is the drawer pulls. There is nothing wrong with them, I just don't like their appearance.

This is a nice quality product. Extremely well packaged! I have never seen such pride taken in just that alone. They are obviously proud of their products. Assembly was easy with very good directions. I would recommend this product to friends.

Finish is a little redder than expected. Otherwise very sturdy.
