This item is not worth the price. While putting it together one piece was broke and we had to glue it. Several nicks in wood.

Love Love Love It! It took about two hours to put together, two people. But had no issues and I love! the look and quality of it. Who would have thought filing would be so enjoyable by the use of this cabinet. The four drawers make it so much easier to be organized, especially with the files facing front.

This filing cabinet is GORGEOUS! It was quite a time-consuming task for my husband & I to put together but if you set out all the parts in order by how they're lettered it goes by fast. They definitely utilized high quality materials and once assembled it looks like a high-end piece of furniture. The pictures on HD's website don't do it justice and make it look like it has a faint green tint when it's actually a true creamy white. The internal bars for hanging file folders can also be adjusted to use with either letter or legal size hanging file folders. With 4 drawers I will have plenty of room to consolidate all my files plus have room to spare... bonus that it looks like a nice piece of furniture so you can't tell it's a filing cabinet! Highly recommend!

Disappointed
Assembled the entire cabinet, got to the last drawer, and the cam holes did not line up. Called Home Depot to just get another drawer, but they could only accept the entire item back for an exchange. Well, there was no way I was going to disassemble the whole thing and re-assemble a new one a second time. It told the representative and he referred me to the manufacturer ... who never answers their phone. So with some wood glue and angle brackets, I made it work anyway. What should have been a 2-hour assembly turned into about 10 hours, including time spent on the phone.
The wood is solid, the construction is good (when everything lines up) ... but the precision is horrible.

We moved into a new home in November 2017 and have a larger space for my husband's home office. The office is in the front of the house and visible from the front entrance, so we needed a new file cabinet to replace a non-matching one. The file cabinet arrived well packaged and intact. My husband put the cabinet together easily and quickly. It is a nice quality piece and actually is a very close match to his desk and bookshelves, which were purchased at a furniture store a few years ago. We highly recommend this file cabinet! Only negative is that one of the file folder hanger rods was missing (only rec'd 7 instead of 8), but we're using that drawer for reams of paper...so it's okay.

The final result of assembly was just what I wanted....
The final result of assembly was just what I wanted. However, the assembly itself was difficult taking hours and re-assembling because of poorly marked material and insufficient instruction.
