I love this file cabinet, easy to assemble, much classier than I thought! I could not be more pleased!

BUYER BEWARE!! We had a number of issues, we were near completion and the camlocks broke. Spent several weeks looking for replacements including driving to 5 hardware stores including Home Depot spending much time and gas. After being told through numerous phone calls that the hardware was discontinued, we hired our builder and he and my husband created a workaround. Do not expect this to be high quality but it looks like pictured in our space. THE DAY AFTER COMPLETION CAMLOCKS ARRIVED FROM CHINA! If anyone needs any, please reach out. Line all materials and remove stickers as you go. My husband is an ace assembler and this was a near disaster.

Practically a disaster. Assembled the piece in a very organized way..within two steps of being done. The camlocks all broke. We spent two weeks wrestling with customer service to locate replacement parts. Call after call, said they would arrive from China, then said they were discontinued. Drove to 5 different hardware stores using lots of gas, no matches, even Home Depot. Hired our builder for $20..he and husband created a workaround. Camlocks delivered the next day! Sell you ours if needed….

We've had this for so many years (5? 8?) that it had a different name and was priced at $125. We bought new pulls. It has held up perfectly despite being crammed with documents and supporting our printer. It was quite a process to assemble, lots of parts. Directions were ok (I had less experience w/RTA furniture then). The only issue I've noticed is that the finish is a little easy to scratch. It's fine for a file cabinet, but I recommend getting a glass top to protect the desk.

The file cabinet was easy to assemble. The finished product looks like real wood. It is exactly what I imagined. The walnut finish is beautiful.

It says “Charcoal Black” but its really dark gray. Black is decieving.

I bought this 2 months ago & finally put it together. I love it! The finish is a silky, powdery charcoal color - a really nice hard paint. The wood is heavy & sturdy. The drawer rails were already installed. Took me 2 hrs to put together. If I had a cordless driver, probably would've taken me 1 hr. It was super easy, great directions. I think this will hold up well once filled at regular capacity. Obviously, if you STUFF it full, it's going to come apart. :/ I am super happy with this purchase!

The assembly is easy with clear directions. We were able to put it together in less than an hour. It was great that the tracks for the drawers came already on the drawer sides. I docked it a star because the color says it is charcoal black, but it’s not really black at all, more of a matte dark grey. It works in the room so we are going to keep it, but I do with the color was more of a deeper matte black. I might paint it down the road to actually match the woodwork that is on our built-ins.

I was installing a ClosetMaid system and bought this wood file cabinet to match the closet pieces. It blends in beautifully. You would never suspect it is a filing cabinet but it was just what I needed. Very well made and can be used with legal and letter sized files. Easy to put together. I am a very happy customer.

This 3 drawer cabinet seems very study and will last. However, assembling the cabinet took most of the afternoon. There were lots of parts (see photo). Some of the holes were not drilled at all, but was easily resolved. I would purchase again.

I like this take on a traditional file cabinet. Has three drawers for hanging files and the top and lower shelf for supplies, etc. I put this together myself in a couple of hours. Attaching the back panel would have been easier with two people. The box was heavy but packed well. No damage and no missing hardware.

I bought this file cabinet in white for my jewelry business paperwork & documents. Looks great! I bought specialty knobs & face plates else where to give an additional high end look. I assembled it by myself. It wasn’t hard and instructions were good. I screwed all the screws & lock nuts by hand! The back piece of composite wood already had drill holes but cabinet didn’t. It took some elbow grease and 24 tiny screws to attach the back. Tip; an awl & hammer help start the holes on the back.

Love everything from this collection!!!! Very happy with this. I bought two and use them as end tables with storage. I have the secretary desk as well.

Basically it's an expensive piece of cardboard, not wood. Drawers are misaligned show crooked once assembled. Camlocks did not align with the pre drilled holes and metal was very brittle. Bottom of drawers is very flimsy cardboard, I don't see it holding up for very long. Not of good quality overall.

I purchased this item on December 3rd. I set it up as per instructions which were pretty clear. It's literally been 17 days, I went to put some paperwork into this "file cabinet", and the drawer literally fell apart. The "hardware" that came with it is in pieces. Please tell me how this is even close to a quality item in any sense of the word? I will update my review once I get in touch with customer service and see if they will stand behind their product. I thought the product photo of the cabinet was a great example of where I was going to put my cabinet: in front of a white shiplap wall with beige flooring. How much more of a perfect example could I get? I think that sold me on it! My 18 year old son put it together, taking him about 3 hours. He’s very capable at putting things together. The cabinet looks beautiful. It’s sturdy and will definitely hold a lot. I don’t like the color. There’s no white in this at all. It’s definitely beige. There’s one slight nick…on the front of the right door. Not much I can do about it now. Overall, I would highly recommend this cabinet, but if you’re like me and was hoping for something more white, I’d look for something else.

I needed a new file cabinet, but I didn't want it to look like one. I did a search and found this one. It's beautiful! It's also easy to assemble. It's a little time consuming, but well worth it! It took only days to ship, it came in perfect condition, and it looks better in person.

I purchased and assemble this cabinet this week. the directions are fairly straight forward and easy to follow, but it's what you'd expect from a particle board unit made overseas. there are spots you have to put screws that have no pre-drilled holes causing the laminate on top to split, it's not 100% centered, but all that being said it does look nice once it's fully assembled. Hopefully it holds up!

I was looking for a file cabinet that could blend in with the rest of my furniture. This piece fit the bill. It's sturdy and holds more than I thought it would. Definitely recommend.

I bought this and spent a couple of hours assembling it only to find out that the drawers do not slide into the cabinet, so it is useless. I would never buy another product from this company. I am bringing it to my local Home Depot, where I !expect a full refund. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! If they offer it to you for free, DO NOT ACCEPT IT! It is worse than useless because it is a waste of time to assemble.

Says black, but looks dark gray. I wanted to match my other black furniture. I would still buy it, if it was black.

Lovely....easy to assemble...color matches furniture and looks like an end table...great for storing my papers and files...made a great choice...just love it! CarlaB

All parts and instructions make it easy to assemble. Looks like a natural piece of furniture in the office.

Where do I even begin? The product was packed extremely well. It is heavy and came here in great condition. I laid out all the pieces, read the directions but they are not the best. The photos of the unit in the directions were very helpful. Additionally, the online photos from other reviews were great. Plus I know how to work around bad instructions. The cabinet came together fairly well. Is strong and sturdy. Holds a lot of files which we desperately need! Finish is perfect! Overall 4 star rating because directions could be much better.

Bradstone JS-3418-A 2 Drawer Filing Cabinet – This item number is for a white filing cabinet, there are two (2) additional colors available Black and Walnut…The assembled dimensions are 28.74 inches high, 20.5 inches wide and 15.7 inches deep…The assembly was not difficult, the assembly instructions are very good and detailed, all assembly hardware is included and the assembly time took approximately 1.25 hours…I used a cordless impact driver rather than a hand screwdriver…The fit and finish of this filing cabinet is quite good, it will enhance any home office and compliment just about any décor…So far this filing cabinet has performed as indicated, intended and expected without any problems…This filing cabinet also includes anti tipping hardware, however I did not install it as I may want to move the filing cabinet to various locations without the task of patching walls, if caution is used when pulling out the drawers, the cabinet will not tip over...

This is a really beautiful filing cabinet, and nicely low-profile for the amount of storage that it offers. Assembly is fairly straightforward, but definitely read the instructions carefully when it comes to installing the drawers (we almost ran into trouble there). It's solidly built and seems ready to withstand years of repeated use. Great addition to a home office!

Bradstone Collection offered a 2 drawer file cabinet , available in a white finish. The directions are included with detailed instructions for assembly, there was only one that I had a bit of a problem, but finally figure it out. Everything needed was included ,as well a a few extra hardware pieces, which I appreciated, you will nee d to purchase hanging files before using. Everything lined up perfectly, ,A 3 year warranty to cover any manufacturing defects. The tools required are a small head Phillips screwdriver, as well as a large head Phillips screwdriver. The white finish gives a farm look, but will blend in nicely with any decor.

I just love the Home Decoarators Collection at The Home Depot. This collection is trendy and affordable. I needed a file cabinet for my home office space and this Bradstone 3 Drawer White File Cabinet was just perfect! Although I am still assembling it, I was so happy with how clearly every single part is marked as well as the clear, easy to understand instructions. Also, the smaller parts ( screws, etc) are neatly bagged and labeled. Home Decoators makes assembly a lot easier. Nice solid furnishings!

The looks and quality of the file cabinet exceeded my expectations. Even the packaging was impressive with no parts damaged or even slightly scratched. The instructions were as good as it gets and all components clearly labeled. There were even extra screws, dowels, cam locks and cam lock bolts which were denoted in the "Hardware Included" section of the instructions with a "+" mark (i.e. 23+2 meaning 23 pieces were required but 2 extras were included. The extra cam locks came in handy because I accidently screwed one in too tight and it snapped. I would not recommend using power tools to assemble this unit... Just a small and big Philips head screwdriver. Each drawer can be setup either for letter size or legal size file folders which is another handy feature. Or you could leave the metal bars off and just use a drawer for storage.

This filing cabinet is beautiful. It is very sturdy and accommodates a lot of files. It can be configured to hold letter or legal sized hanging files. It was simple to assemble. You only need a screw driver, but a power drill will save you a lot of time and work as there are a lot of screws! The cabinet finish is very smooth and arrived without any defects. It looks great in my office/craft room.
