This is an excellent pad. Bought to put on hardwood floor under a wool Oriental rug.

Only been a week, but so far it’s great. The ends of the rug don’t flip up and it adds just a little cushion

Rug is already pulling and coming apart

so far so good. Nice padding at a great price for our area rug. Used it with hardwood floors.

I have used cheaper pads in the past but the really is a difference. This one is a combination of rubber and felt. I used it under a wool oriental rug on a wood floor. Put the rubber side down to prevent slipping on wood floor. Felt side up to cushion the rug. We previously had just a rubber mat and when we sent the rug to be cleaned then we upgraded to this new pad.

It's a pad. A VERY expensive pad.

Easy to cut with sharp scissors although the plastic wrapped package on a shelf bottom was so dust covered, it got me sneezing and I needed to vacuum my car. Maybe Home Depot could use a large floor vacuum for things that get stuck out of sight on bottom shelves.
