I have slowly been replacing old window coverings in my home with these and I really like them. I love the texture they add and the newer style is cordless which is great. I have 2 older ones that have the cord, but I still like them. I like the fact that they are light filtering so even when they are completely down, the light is still able to come through. I would definitely recommend these bamboo shades!

I like the looks of these bamboo shades. We ordered 5 total. They do a decent job blocking the light, but we’ll be adding curtains anyways. My main issue is that they don’t hang level. We hung them all yesterday, the installation was very easy. Anyone can do it. But I think I fixed the leveling problem. I’ll add pictures showing how to fix them yourself. You basically just have to tie a knot higher than the existing knot, on the side that hangs lower. Also, the valance isn’t the same length on all of them. If you’re particular l, or OCD about things like me, it will bother you. I’ll also post a picture. Overall for the price I’d recommend them, but you’ll have to do some minor adjustments to get them to hang level.

I was searching high and low for woven shades to match my custom stained floors. The driftwood is perfect, not any hint of yellow or gold as shown in the pictures. I’m so happy i went with these instead of the higher customs. I cannot tell a difference in the quality and saved thousands. I will definitely order more.

These blinds look great, but if you are ordering for a wide window (mine was 70.5 wide) these are very difficult to pull down and put back up. It’s a struggle every morning to raise them and make sure they are even on both sides and it’s a struggle to pull them down at night. If you have smaller windows, I’m sure these will work better.

My contractor ordered these twice for our windows but kept getting the wrong size. When he spoke with our local store manager, he was told they only came in one size despite being able to order multiple sizes on the website. I saw reviews that had comments from the manufacturer so I directly contacted them. They said they could custom cut to size we needed and confirmed size with our contractor. The correct size was received, and the product looks perfect. Filters but does not block light. Darkens our family room which is perfect since it receives full on afternoon sun which in turn has made it cooler (which my husband loves!). The inside frame install was easy according to the contractor. They require a little tug when pulling down which means my little man won’t be accidentally pulling them down or getting tangled in cords (which is awesome!). Other than the wrong size issue (still not sure what’s up with our local HD), we are very pleased with the end result (and would say they were worth the extra wait and EXTRA hassle). Kudos to Becky from the manufacturer for working on this!

These blinds have been a staple in my home for years. I have purchased at least a dozen in various sizes and colors, across 4 different homes. I LOVED these blinds. And then they switched to the cordless version. And while the quality of the blind itself is still good, every single one of the cordless blinds I have purchased (about 5-6) does not raise/lower correctly. They are crooked, every time. And yes, you can fiddle with the mechanism to correct it so it hangs evenly, but the next time you lower and raise the blind it is crooked once again. I should not have to fix my blinds every single time I use them. So unless your blinds are just decorative and you don’t actually want to use them, I would NOT recommend this cordless version. Such a disappointment.

I purchased 16 for our new home, installed easily in November 2019. Beautiful to look at and affordable, BUT finding that they do not hold up to function!! It’s just my husband and I, pulling them down carefully and very infrequently. 2 have now jammed, left in an unfixable, cockeyed position. Home Depot replaced the first one. Now I have to call customer service about the second one. Very disappointed!!

I have purchased these before. I have put these in our recently renovated guest house. They look great.

I bought 4 at $100 each. Only 1 would roll up. Within a week they were all broke. They put the top together with Elmer's glue. I want my money back.

These window shades are cut at 1/2' incruments, but all (5) blinds I received had very uneven cuts along one side. See pictures.

I ordered almost the longest size at 71.5". At this length they should include 3 brackets, but only 2 are included. Using only 2 brackets sags the middle (see image). We ended up drilling a center screw to prevent the sag and ensure it is sturdy. These are light filtering, which works for my office. I also care how the blinds look from the outside, which I am pleased with (see image). I am happy for the money and LOVE the fact that there is no cord. These would be great for a rental property or in my case, just needed an adfordable solution that doesnt look cheap. All other options I looked at were around $300. We will see how they hold up.

These blinds look great. Excellent quality and easy to install. I love the cordless design. Both kids and pets are safer this way.

Exactly what I was looking for! Beautful driftwood finish, perfect window fit and smooth operation with no cord to dangle near my sink! Installation was pretty simple with the exception that we had to drill out the slots on either side of the blind about 1/4” more to get the bolt to fit through correctly. Simple process since the rail is wood but wasnt expecting to need to do this. Really love the look and how perfectly it fits in the window frame

These shades were exactly what we wanted for our porch! Blocks the sun without totally blocking out the light. The size was true as was the Driftwood color. The slats were smaller than shown but that is what we really wanted so it was a nice surprise. Super easy to install-just be sure to pre-drill the holes as indicated in the instructions. We ordered 68.5" and it did take 2 of us to put the shade on the bracket.

The Driftwood staining of the bamboo shade has a really nice distressed look to it which is not as goldish looking as the Home Depot website pictures. The slats are uniform with slightly varying tones of driftwood. The one thing to consider with these type of shades is that you can't spin the slats for lighting. You either have to roll them up for additional light or roll down to reduce the light. The cordless design eliminates spin rods and pull strings for a more sleek/stealth look. You either lift or pull at the center of the bottom rail to open/close them. Sturdy mounting brackets are provided to accommodate the greater weight of the bamboo and operation hardware.

I love that these are cordless blinds, they function well Now I don't have to worry about my cats getting tangled in the cords anymore. They match my décor well.

Love the look on French doors, handyman said easy to install, nice hardware...very easy to lower & raise.

This shade comes in 109 different widths, from 19" to 71.5" in half inch increments, so the "Cut to width" refers to the ordering information, not anything the purchaser does. The one I installed at 37.5" was exactly the width specified. The shade is fairly heavy at 7 lbs and will have additional load when operated by pulling down in the center of the shade. Because of the weight each mounting bracket uses 4 screws. The slots that the mounting bracket posts go into allow the mounting brackets to be spaced 31" to 36" apart when using top or inside mounting as illustrated in the instructions. A 6" valance conceals the operating mechanism, and when fully retracted the folded-up shade is 9" high, so if it's mounted inside a window it will always block the top 9". When the shade is fully up, the bottom bar of the shade that is pulled to lower the shade folds up behind the shade, so I have to reach under and up to grasp it to lower the shade. I'm using this as a privacy curtain between a master bedroom and master bath vanity area. Due to the gaps between the slats, the shade is translucent, blocking about 75% of the light (which is good when my wife gets up early), but doesn't really conceal anything - everything is still visible through the shade, it's just dimmer.

3 large custom size windows in dining room, purchased Dec 22, I love the look, cafe style, shades on top, plantation shutters on bottom. Well today string snaped on one, and other side is so tight, tension is broken, so had to order a replacement custom size. Praying the color is the same because I know how dye lots can be different when not ordered together. Very disappointing. So until replacement comes, all shades need to be down to match.

I absolutely love the shades. Great quality and price! They are cordless and easy to move up and down. They really warm up our family room space.

I purchased about 9 of these shades for our last home, Loved them! We recently moved and I started buying these for our new home. After about 2 months of raising and lowering often (max 1 time a day), the string that operates the "cordless" up and down function broke. Not really happy that I have to find a way to fix this. Our old ones did get sun faded, but still a great deal - not happy with the newer versions. I'd rather pay a little more for something more durable and reliable

Disappointed. So much darker than advertised. I will now need to bleach an entire house full of these blinds just to match our aesthetic. Is it really that hard to know what product you are selling?

The driftwood color was the perfect balance between warm and cool. The shades were made well. The only problem is that the weave is not tight enough so it provides absolutely no privacy at all. You can see exactly what someone is wearing through the shades at far off distance. We ended up purchasing a different product so to that issue. If the weave were tighter it would solve that problem. Then it would be 5 stars!
