The metal bracket is visible when the blinds are installed. It seems that this brand of blinds sells all other cellular shades with the option of hiding the metal bracket. So if you have regular cellular by this brand, these will not match them.

I love these shades - allow enough light and privacy during the day. 2 windows in the bedroom, both need an outside mount. Measuring guide said to ‘just’ add 4” to the total window width. One window faces the alley with some night-time lights - shades block the light very well. The other window faces my neighbor’s carport with the night-light aimed directly at my window. 4” is not enough, too much light spills out the sides of shade. Adding a total of 6” or 8” might’ve been better. A thought.

These dual purpose cellular shades ( light filtering and blackout) work very well and were easy to install. We chose the over the frame install and it really blocks out the light in the blackout mode. The installation instructions were clear and easy to follow.

I like how easy it is to switch from dark to light or vice versa. Simple, clean look.
