I purchased two of these fans, and both had the same build quality issue that made the fan unusable. The mounting plate for the light kit was misaligned with the fan motor component. This causes the light kit to be crooked - it has a large visible gap on one side, and rubs against the fan blade mounts on the other side (see pictures). This is particularly frustrating because it's not apparent until you've almost completed installation. Had to return both.

This fan worked well for two years. I purchased it the spring of 2021 with a separate remote for use on my screened-in porch. The fan has stopped working. It doesn't turn on by using the remote nor the chain. The light still works. I had high hopes that this fan would be a great value and would last at least five years given the reviews and how nicely it blends with the decor of my porch. Unfortunately, the warranty period is termed and I will have to invest in a new fan of better quality.

Is not powerful enough, and although it mention on the description is compatible with a universal remote control, i bought it separate, but the fan cavity, where you supuse to intall the remote control part it to small in the upper fan

Such a beautiful fan. This fan looks great on our newly built gazebo. It's really quiet and blows a great deal of air.The light is also bright enough for our needs. Great cost as well. Hope to get years of enjoyment from it.

This is a beautiful ceiling fan with LED lighting. The motor is inside a metal bowl style casing, and the blades are rattan-styled. The design works great for indoors/outdoors. I was surprised that this fan could be installed outside on an uncovered ceiling such as a pergola. When I installed the fan, I noticed that the electrical wires were waterproof-sealed and the motor is covered in a casing, well-protected from the element. Even though this is okay for uncovered areas, I recommend having it covered when not in use. Too much sun exposure can damage the rattan blades. I did not notice any wobbling and the noise level is acceptable. At all fan speed level, it gives a pleasant breeze. Moreover, the LED light has three light intensity levels. My wife loves how this fan looks in the room.

Excellent fan. Wide blades move large amounts of air, seems like twice as much as my indoor fans of similar width at least.. Good speed range of adjustment. Looks great in the right setting, bright white on white. Light is strong enough for most use, with three levels of brightness. Installs easily as any fan, nothing too tricky or unexpected. Really is a good looking fan for a gazebo or porch.

Seems heavy. ==== Installation ==== This uses the standard hanger type for this brand and many others. You use two screws to fasten it to the ceiling box and hang the ball at the end of the downrod into the socket in the mount. The process is a little involved to keep from having to start over because the instructions are somewhat vague. You may be better off just following the exploded view diagram. There are two options for mounting, one using a downrod (only short one is included), and another without the rod for a ceiling-hugger installation. I used the downrod but had to buy one that is longer (18") due to the peaked ceiling. There is no remote control. ==== Operation ==== The pull-chains and pendants are identical so there is no easy way to tell which is for the fan and which is for the light. I suggest using a different pendant for one. The pull-chain switches are very noisy and that is a minus for me. There are switches made that operate much more quietly. The chains are very short. Again I suggest buying longer ones. The fan has three speeds as usual but the high speed has an annoying whine, see the video. Medium and slow speeds have no whine. There was no trace of wobbling at any speed. No balancing kit was included nor was it needed. The light has three levels of brightness. One pull makes it bright and each subsequent pull makes it dimmer. The light is not real bright but should allow for reading underneath. The blade design is hit-or-miss in my family. About half like it and half do not. I do. The LED light panel can be replaced but I would not count on it being available, especially after a few years. I think it may be possible to replace it with a universal light fixture but am not sure. In any case the switch would probably need to be replaced as well. ==== Summary ==== Confusing instructions. Nice appearance but that is subjective. Whines at high speed. Noisy switches. Good airflow. No wobble.Reverse operation switch on side of motor.

Pompeo 52 in. white ceiling fan is a 5 STAR choice for our outdoor slatted pergola. It has a true “wet” rating. Some outdoor fans have only a “damp” rating meaning they should only be mounted in a covered area. It has a beautiful design and excellent construction with a super nice powder coating on the motor and metal parts. The large leaf pedal blades are heavy duty water resistant plastic and the 3 setting lighting kit is 18 watt LED (note it is not 28 watt LED as in the online bullet point listing). The result is low cost operation while still producing plenty of light. A few other pros are the extra-long wires provided allowed for the use of extended down rods for tall slatted ceilings like ours. For those with low ceiling the fan can be hung without a down rod. It has a reverse switch that is located down low on the light kit for easy access. Although this fan does not come with a remote control the hanger is designed to accommodate a generic remote receiver. Like all the other Home Decorations Collection fans we have reviewed this fan comes with a lifetime motor warranty, it moves a lot of air, it runs smooth and it operates quite. Please note: I found is a mistake in the instructions that had me scratching my heads for a while. Step #9 shows the blades attaching to the blade arms incorrectly (see photo). The correct way to assemble is to attach the blade “I” between the blade arm “HH and the medallion “J”. I recommend this fan as a good choice in its price range for outdoor use, especially in “wet applications”, I hope this helps.

My husband and I were eating dinner and the glass globe coving the LED lights flew off and shattered on our table. We run the fan alot and I'm sure with the vibration it gradually unscrews itself. I wish there had been a warning about this or at least the light cover could have had the little screws you can tighten on the sides to prevent this. I can't seem to find the correct replacement for this and the LED lights are very bright without the shade covering them.

The fan is very beautiful and goes well with the room decor. Those blades of leaves give off some strong cool breeze. Wow! Love it!

Very happy with this new fan. It is quiet, good air movement in my bedroom. The light fixture looks very slick and does a good job of lighting the whole room when needed. Would recommend this fan to anyone in the market.

Replaced old ceiling fan on my porch with this more modern looking fan. Very easy to install. I like the LED lights. Excellent build quality.

Purchased 4 of these fans for all rooms and Lanai. "Good rating" downgrade was due to one of the four having a bent fan motor shaft from the manufacturer. After installation it wobbled and clanked. Had to uninstall, return to Home Depot, pick up a replacement and reinstall.
