The Filter does what is intended to do. Nothing more nothing less. The price is fairly steep for what you get that lasts only 3 months! I take it out and clean it with my shop vac then blow it out with compressed air from my compressor. You can get 6 months out of the filter thats overpriced to begin with.

I wouldn't go with any other filter.

Yes, this filter absolutely cleans the air but the question is, do you want it to do it so well? I used this filter for 5 weeks before my furnace shutdown due to limited airflow. I checked the filter and sure enough, it needed to be replaced already. It does a great job, but it works so well it gets plugged quickly.

I get this filter every year...works well.

This filter definitely works. I have cats, and when I checked this filter after a few weeks of use, it was filled with dust and hair. Other filters would take longer to look dirty. For this reason, I recommend replacing more frequently because a clogged filter makes the furnace work harder. The price is worth the extra filtration.
