Easy to install. I bought a remote with it and it works great! The remote does not work the blade direction since this fan has a switch on it to switch the direction.

We installed the fan in our bedroom. When laying in bed and the house is completely quiet, you can hear a tick-tick-tick sound coming from it. It is a little annoying. Also, the face plate on the bottom that is easily visible, has their Hunter advertisement. It makes it look cheap. I would have returned it, if uninstalling wouldn’t cost me more money.

I bought two identical fans. They were installed by a licensed Electrician to be controlled by the same switch.
One fan, on the same pull-chain controlled setting (fast), turns noticeably slower than the other.

What happened to hunter fans.
Purchased this fan and installed it on the 17th, didn’t turn it on until the 28th, (waiting for a switch to come in). The fan made it 12 hours, now it doesn’t spin and just hums, checked all the wiring and everything is proper and receiving power. Very frustrating a brand new fan just stopped working.

This fan is a blessing. It runs smoothly and is quiet. My only negative observation is the remote is not very convenient and you have to go to the fan body to change the direction. Otherwise it is clearly a keeper.

Only for very small rooms
Fan does not push much air. If you are looking for good air flow this is not it.
