This fan is nice so far. The controller isn’t easy to figure out.

I love this fan. It’s super quiet and the blades look amazing with my decor.

Purchased 2 of these fans. Husband & I have installed 10 different fans over the years, this is the only one that has wobbled. Great looking fan but there’s something wrong with the design. The part that the fan hangs from is a rounded triangle shape instead of the usual round ball most fans use to hang by the down rod - this is the only spot that is causing it to wobble. In checking other Hunter fan reviews lots of people are having the wobble issue. I returned both fans. I added pics of part.

Very nice fan! Love the dimming feature

The fan looks nice and rustic. The lights are super bright and dimmer is great. I bought 2, and they both randomly go off, and back on like a power sure. We have tried everything to stop it, with no success. Seems to do it when the lights are dimmed, then the fan is turned off by the hard wired switch, and back on. Unexplainable why this happens, but they both do it.

Fan and light installation was done by an electrician. It took him about an hour. It really moves the air. The three 40w bulbs put out sufficient light. I wish the bulbs were dimmable bulbs. My reason I didn’t rate a 5 Stars, the remote isn’t able to change fans direction. You need to climb a ladder to flip a switch. It wouldn’t have been a deal breaker, I just wish I knew. It’s all about expectations I had.

Great ceiling fan. This is a very nice high quality ceiling fan as all of the Hunter fans are. Very easy installation, only took about forty five minutes to complete. We put this in our beach cottage to replace an older worn out looking fan and it fits in perfectly with the decor. The wife loves it. Install was a little easier than some others as they give you a little more room for the remote transmitter. You also get 2 remotes one for each side of the bed.

This review is for the Hunter Deermont 52 inch remote control ceiling fan with light. It has a nice bronze housing and motor with 5 distressed barn wood blades, and 3 dimmable candelabra LED lights. The blades are some sort of artificial material with the look of wood on the front of the blade, as such they are not reversible. The distressed barn wood look is the only option, there is no other option on the other side like with older fans. It seems that all fans are moving in this direction (one sided blades). The fan comes with 2 remote control units each has the ability to turn on the lights and fan, and control the dimmer, and speed of the fan. I can't speak to ease of installation as I had my contractor install it for us. The instructions seemed good with plenty of pictures and text in both English and Spanish

Another quality fan from Hunter. This fan includes two remote controls, a feature I have not seen before. But really handy for a large room or shop area where you are often in different parts of the room. The included remote control base unit is small enough that it fits into the hanger bracket easily. I like the fact that the light fixture uses standard base LED or CFL bulbs. This gives you a lot of flexibility to make the room just as light as you need. Three 14W LED bulbs is the equivalent of about three 100W incandescent bulbs. Lots of light. The blades are not reversible. The barnwood side faces down and the upper part of the blade has an airfoil shape. Not sure if that contributes to the greatly increased airflow from this fan or not. The rated CFM on high is 5412. I have another fan of the same size and it is rated at 4462. That is quite a lot more air moved for this one. Looks real nice and works well.

When you open the Hunter fan box, everything is packaged and you can see the quality in the product. I have Hunter fans in my home and they have the quality to last. All parts are in the fan assembly box and the screws are in marked packages, which makes it easy to find. This is a 52 inch Surespeed (high- speed cooling) with reversible motor (limited lifetime warranty). Has Edison LED light bulbs in the light kit ( 3 yrs. on the module and led bulbs). Also this kit has two remotes so you can mount one and keep the other next to you. This was easy to install with very good directions, just go by the steps and you will be able to finish with a great product that will last. I replaced one of my older Hunter fans (without a remote) and this has a causal or farmhouse look ( blades are a rustic finish). This has a Noble Bronze finish on the motor body along with the Farmhouse finish on the blades and the Edison led bulbs, what a great look.

This Hunter Deermont ceiling fan with light is a welcome addition to our home. It provides both a lot of light in this multipurpose room and a ceiling fan that powerfully moves the air when needed. The fan with light kit included three 5-watt LED dimmable bulbs. Also included are two remote control units with holsters and mounting tape. The room this fan is in has three doors so having two remotes really is a plus. The light fixture will accommodate LED dimmable light bulbs up to 14 watts. The bulbs screw into a standard base. If I need brighter lights, I will pick up 7 watt same type bulbs. The appearance of the fan blades is informal and fits this room perfectly. The carton included one bag with four different extra mounting hardware.

We did a mini-renovation on our family room and the dated ceiling fan was killing the whole look. I was looking for something updated that wasn't overly contemporary or ornate, but simple with a little style. This fit the bill perfectly! As far as installation, my husband and brother-in-law did it together. Neither is an electrician, but by following the instructions and basic safety rules they were able to get it up without problem. It comes with a remote which worried me at first b/c with 4 kids, a dog and two tired parents, we lose remotes like it's our job. But it comes with a little holder and most importantly an adhesive so we put it in a spot that is easy for us to access but out of view of the two year old and dog and so far so good! The light we do not find to be super bright, but it is a large room and with a couple other floor lamps it gets the job done. It has different fan speeds which is nice. The look is great. I like the matte black--very on trend. (We choose to orient the fan blades so they are facing black down as well.) I was uncertain about the stripes around the lamp "globe" when I ordered it, but I actually really like them. They give it just a touch of detailing without getting too ornate. We have a light and airy farmhouse vibe in the room, but also mixed with natural wood tones, and this is a nice piece to help tie in some oil rubbed bronze and black furniture. Overall it's a great look. The blades are smaller than the previous fan we had but they still circulate air nicely.

I got this 44 inch Hunter indoor/outdoor fan for our back porch but it looked so good we decided to put it in one of our guest rooms. Installation was easy, it comes with 2" and 3" down-rods and we used the 2" for a near flush mount. Blades are reversible, black or brown; we chose brown. The fan comes with a handheld remote which controls the fan and light. It comes with an LED bulb which can be dimmed with the remote. The fan also has 4 speeds and the direction can be reversed. It runs quiet and smooth at all speeds and is a very nice addition to the room. The single bulb fixture will not lighten up a room entirely but is perfect for this bedroom that has a bedside lamp.

It’s a pretty ceiling fan, and it’s silent at all speeds! It’s so quiet that you don’t even hear it starting up when you flip the switch. The fan is installed outside, in my lanai. I chose the blade color that matches the siding of my home. I connected it the single wall switch just inside the door. Once the fan is installed and the remote configured, it’s really easy to use with just the wall switch. When the wall switch is turned off, the fan “remembers” the last settings. When the switch is turned on, the fan returns to the settings when it was turned off. For example, if the switch is turned off with the fan at a low speed and medium light, the fixture returns to low speed and medium light when turned on. Bonus: the fan can connect to a single wall switch or to a wall box that has separate switches for fan and light. The directions for both configurations are included. An advanced DIYer can retrofit a double switch later. (Product loses 1/2 star) The remote is really confusing. I really don’t want to misplace the small cardboard square of instructions. I see that the manufacturer has printed this on laminated cardboard. (Product loses 1/4 star) The installation is really easy once you realize the notch on the light fixture is actually a lip. That’s apparent once you see the pictures. (Product loses 1/4 star) I have two reservations about the engineering of how the light fixture is attached. First, it covers the screws that hold the fan blades to the body of the fan. Second, the pin in the fan body that secures the light fixture in inaccessible after the light fixture is attached. So, installing the light fixture is irreversible and hinders access to replacing the fan blades.

The Hunter Cedar Key 44 inch indoor/outdoor Matte Black Ceiling fan with remote control is just the right size for my small kitchen. I had put up a larger fan last spring but didn't realize that when opening the one cabinet with the fan running it would hit the door. So in comes the Hunter fan to replace it. Installing the fan wasn't the hard part. The lighting kit install was a bit hard. I even went to youtube to see how it was done. Just push up and turn til it clicks took a bit of time. After getting the light kit installed I was very happy with the fan and light. The remote control is easy to use and the instructions with the fan explained everything in an easy to understand way, using pictures and marking hardware bags with shapes for easy identification. The fan itself is very quiet and energy efficient.

I found another ceiling fan made by Hunter and it matches the one i am putting in my living room. I is just is smaller the one for living room is 52 inch. and this one is 44 inch. which is perfect for my dining room.My wife is excited that i found another fan made by same company.she cant wait to have them installed,My neighbor already said he would help me to install them.So My wife is going to be so happy.

The Hunter Cedar Key 44” Ceiling Fan (White) is a traditional design befitting a rustic or nautical setting. Shiny exterior white glass globe with hand painted blue stripes. Weighs about 23 pounds, requiring secure mounting. Three mounting options: low, standard, and angled. Indoor/Outdoor rated (patio, pool area). 2 inch and 3 inch downrods included. Three fan speeds with reverse. Includes a remote that provides ON/OFF, 3 fan speeds, fan reverse, and dimming. A dimmable 9 watt LED bulb is provided. Clear, well illustrated instructions. The fan can be installed without the light kit. While the blue stripes on the light globe are advertised as being “hand painted”, they are not free-hand painted. The use of masking tape to get 3 perfect stripes is evident. I was slightly disappointed by that, but won’t reduce my rating because of it. The blades are reversible: light stripe oak and washed walnut. The light stripe oak was a realistic photo-print. I was not impressed with the washed walnut as it was too obvious as a photo-print. I would say it more closely resembles a white-washed piece of rough-cut cedar rather than washed walnut. But again, it appears to my eye like an obvious photo-print up close. Of course your taste may vary, and depending on the setting, on a higher ceiling, or when running, it could look good. The ceiling mount is convenient, allowing the heavy fan assemble to be hung and then wiring completed. The remote receiver is built into the fan eliminating the sometimes tedious task of squeezing a separate receiver into an already tight space above the ceiling mount. Note: If you want to test the electrical connections, remote, and the fan motor before installing the blades, the light portion of the fan must be plugged in or the fan motor will not operate. It took a bit of coaxing to get the light section of the fan attached to the fan section. Be patient and check that the wires and plug assembly are not interfering with the interface. Once it is firmly up into position it turns and locks easily – refer to the instructions provided. The fan had only a slight wobble at high speed. In anticipation of this, there are balance weights included. I won’t be running the fan on high so it is not an issue. The low speed is quite nice; very quiet and calming, while moving just enough air to keep things cooler. I like that I can turn the light on with the remote and then use just the inside wall switch to turn the light on/off. This is nice for our unheated porch when just wanting to switch on the light for welcoming guests. I would recommend this fan be installed on ceiling heights of 9’ or greater. While it can be installed on an 8’ ceiling (as I did) it hangs down 18 3/8” with the shortest 2” downrod and light assembly installed. If there is a possibility of someone jumping up or swinging their arms around over their head they can/will make contact with the light or fan blades. This is possible with any fan on an 8’ ceiling, but this design places the light fixture within closer reach. And, with the non-flush ceiling mount and motor design, the blades are lower too – 11 1/2” from the ceiling on my installation. Limited lifetime warranty. Made in China.

I really like this fan. There were two different colors of the glass in the descriptio. One was blue and the other gray. It appears to be a greenish brown. I was hoping for either color in the description.

This fan not only works great, it is stylish.

Not only love the look of this fan, but that it is so quiet! It came with two remotes that control the speed of the fan and the light. The price (on sale) was super affordable! And the installation (by my own qualified electricians) went smoothly.

I love this fan. It is a perfect accent to the laminate flooring we put in this room. We did struggle with the wiring of this fan and installing the remote receiver in the fan. But once it was installed it looks amazing and works flawlessly.

Very pretty. Classy. Quiet but at the same time has the power to cool your room. Love having a remote. Very pleased.

Super quiet fan - looks gorgeous!

I had an old fan with a single bulb light fixture. The three bulbs has made a huge improvement in the room and the fan is almost silent!
