We had 2 of these fans installed on our back porch and could not be happier! They replaced 2 original fans the builder had installed (yuck), and the installation was pretty easy. The fans are so pretty, and whoever designed the lighting was spot on! We can enjoy the back porch so much more now that the lighting is so much better!! Thank you Hunter Fan, I highly recommend these fans!!

I purchased six of these fans for a new construction build. 14-3 wire was run from each fan box to the corresponding single gang switch. I installed Lutron Diva 3-speed fan control with sing-pole switch (model # DVFSQ-F-WH) as I have done on numerous other projects. Upon installing the fans and switches I noticed that one of the fans seemed to be operating irregularly. When the light was off and the fan was on the lights appeared to have a slight glow. When I adjusted the speed to a higher setting the lights would flicker. I contacted Hunter Customer Service and was told that their fans do not work with any switches and I should purchase remote kits for all fans. This seems like there is a huge problem if Hunter fans need a remote to operate correctly and do not interface with any manufacturer's switches. What is more aggravating is after reviewing the installation manual it shows wiring the fan to a switch using 3 wire and makes no mention that Hunter fans do not interface with any manufacturers switches. So either I need to go by 6 remote kits or 6 new fans from a different manufacturer. What a waste of time and money!!!

Great only flaw is having to take apart to get to switch that reverses the direction of fan blades

I have needed a ceiling fan for some time now and decided to pay extra and purchase a Hunter fan based upon the Hunter fan reputation. Boy, what a disappointment! This was difficult to assemble and the fan speed is HORRIBLE! The "highest" speed is more similar to a low speed on any other ceiling fan I've owned. I keep thinking I have to be missing something.....unfortunately I don't believe I am. My solution, remove the fan from my bedroom to spare bedroom and purchase a different fan altogether to replace this no air Hunter fan! I do not recommend!

Remote dose not dim nor turn on/off fan 52080. It dose turn fan light on/off but that's it.

Works well with fan, good purchase.

It is quiet and very efficient.

This would have received an excellent, but we can't get it to dim the lights. We've checked all of the connections and it still won't work. No worry,I don't really need it though.

Only issue is that we wanted to use two in our house and our electrician had issues with the remotes impacting each other. Otherwise works great and is a good looking remote

Love the convenience of the remote for my fan. It's a new Hunter fan and I love it and it's really beautiful! The remote just makes adjusting the speed and on and off so very easy!

I was looking for a Hunter remote that would connect with an existing Hunter fan and allow me to control the fan without taking the fan apart. Luckily I found the old, missing remote.

The Caption for this product on Supplier Website reads "Hunter Donegan 52 in. LED Indoor Onyx Bengal Ceiling Fan with 3-Light bundled with Handheld Remote Control". I ordered two of these and NEITHER came with a hand-held remote. I don't think the product was intended to come with a hand-held remote because the outside of the boxes say "Pull Chain Operation". False advertising. Weeks of waiting and now the hassle of return.
