The Remote not good it's erratic .

The fan is beautiful and well balanced and VERY quiet. My only concern is it does not circulate as much air as I would like. I am not using the remote control; I had it hard wired to my existing switches. I have had the fan for approx. 3 weeks.

The fan assembled fairly easy for a ceiling fan, and once I followed the 'start up' instructions for the remote, it has worked perfectly. The lights are dimmable, so if at first they seem dull, try holding down the remote's light switch button. Also, I have had zero fan wobble, even on high speed, right from the first. All in all, a decent fan/light.

Very dissatisfied. The lighting is minimal. The remote only turns things off and on. Does not dim the lights.

The remote control module is defective. When installed, there is reduced power resulting in dim lights and slow fan speed.

Just what I ordered. Works just fine. Easy to install

This fan was purchased in February to replace a fan that was very noisy (not a Hunter). We have had another Hunter fan for about 15 years, which runs great and is still very quiet. The fan was easy to install and we are pleased that it is so quiet you don't even know it is running!

Fan is just what I was looking for. It is attractive, functional and has a remote which was a requirement for me due to my cathedral ceiling.

I ordered 3 fans. I have had two of them installed. The remotes did not work. I called the company, they sent two more remotes and those don't work either.

Unit was easy to assemble and install. Rubs quiet. Wish the remote would allow control of rotation direction.

I like the looks of it and it has the remote that is nicer than the chain hanging down. The only downside to this fan is the lack of light it gives out. I am going to try some other light bulbs. The light bulbs that come with the fan light up poorly I suggest better light bulbs

This fan is simple, yet looks great in our home. It works great and provides just the look we were hoping for.

The fan itself is absolutely beautiful. We are having an issue with the remote. Called Hunter customer service and they recommended changing the batteries and resetting the fan. This did not work. Made second call to customer service and they are mailing a new receiver. Hope this works!!!

I am totally satisfied with this fan. I love the remote control feature and I don't even hear it when it is even on the top speed. I would be getting another one soon.

A top quality Hunter product. This fan was purchased as a replacement for a cheaper brand fan that had failed. Installation was easy with instructions provided with this fan. Wiring was self explanatory but the remote control signaling unit had no instruction for its placement which led to some trial and error. Programming the remote took a few tries but it eventually worked very well. No balancing was required for the blades and it operates very smoothly without any vibration, or noise. Very pleased with this fan

Exactly what I ordered. They look great. Will purchase again when needed.

The biggest downfall is the instructions are a bit confusing and some things are left out all together but the fan is classic looking and love the remote control.

Very easy to assemble and 60 watt LED bulbs give better lighting. Quiet and the remote is very easy to use. Very happy with this purchase.

I should have noticed the candelabra-base lights--never thought that a ceiling fan designed for big rooms would have such limited light. That's definitely on me, so don't make the same mistake! Thanks to another reviewer (ThunderFan!), I'll buy LED bulbs to replace the really quite useless bulbs that came with the light. Installation went along okay. I do find the brass too bright and not as "antique-y" as some of my other fixtures. I have other less expensive fan lights that are much nicer. P.S. What are you supposed to do with the rodeo "belt buckle" type "Hunter" emblem? Too funny! Oh, on the plus side--very quiet and no wobble!

I had the fan professionally installed, so I cannot say to much about the installation. The style fits with my decor in my den and is perfect for an 8ft ceiling, medium size room. It is incredibly quiet and absolutely zero wobble. A delight to have on. One negative is the dimming switch on the remote. It is slow and you have to cycle through an entire dimming cycle to attain the desired brightness. Otherwise it is a great fan. I cannot stress enough how quiet it is, one of the reasons I bought a Hunter. I did have to call Hunter's customer service about the dimming remote and they were very responsive an helped solve my problem. The best Customer Service I have had in a long time.

Very nice quality and quiet running fan! Installation was a little hard because NOT all of the instructions were included in the manual. For example, the remote receiver has to be mounted on top of the down tube mount (need to move the wires out of the way) so that it will fit in the canopy (so the screws in the canopy with line up properly). Had to call Hunter to get this information. Also, initially the lights were dimmer than I expected. The instructions need to highlight that you need to push the light button on the remote until it brightens to your liking or as bright as it will possibly go. Once it is all done, you'll be happy with the results!

This is a great fan. I had some challenges. I expected to be able to use the old 24 "down rod. But there is no standard and I had to purchase a new one. It was also a challenge to get the receiver and wiring concealed behind ceiling bracket. Perhaps this was because I had an angled ceiling. I suggest you read, reread and read again the instructions before you start. My store experience was great. The guy who sold me the fan was a young veteran and he was outstanding.

My husband had no trouble installing the ceiling fan and it looks great in our living room. We really enjoy the remote control. The only disappointment is with the light. Three 60W bulbs come with the fan, but they provide hardly any light. After trying several different types and wattages, we've discovered a 6W LED that replaces a 60W incandescent and provides ample light.

The fan is beautiful, quiet, and great having the remote control for lights and fan speed adjustment.

I wish the bulbs were bigger; kind of small and not bright for as big a room as we have. I went with the remote as we have high ceilings, but I don't like the fact that the remote is installed over the existing wall switch. I would prefer to have it work more like a 3-way between the wall switch and the remote, using whichever is preferred. I probably should have done more research about how the remote would operate before making the purchase. The quality and value are good, and we bought it because it is a Hunter.
