This was super easy to install. All I needed was a Phillips screwdriver and needle nose pliers. I took some photos of the existing wiring. And of course Turn off your power prior to starting

This is the first time that we have had a timer installed with the water heater. This particular timer was highly recommended by the Home Depot employee helping us. It was highly recommended because of personal use. We have had our new water heater and new timer for a week and we are very happy that we have hot water in the mornings as we all get ready for our day and in the evenings for cooking, dishes, and showers. So far the timers settings meet the needs of our family. It is good to know that if we need to adjust it that we will be able to do that. Very happy so far!

I commonly encounter these used for controlling On/Off times for pool filter pump applications. Removing the old and installing the new is simply a matter of taking the tension off the clips securing it and slipping it out or in... no tools needed (other than the wiring). They usually prove reliable for at least a couple of years (sometimes much longer) but might eventually fail, the most common problems are worn gears preventing it from keeping time or sometimes the cams wear out preventing it from operating the On/Off trigger switch from functioning. It also has extra holes for mounting in non-standard enclosures if need be (see photos)

This was any easy fix for my non-working pool pump timer. You just turn off the power to the pump, mark the existing wires, remove the existing wires, pop the old timer out of the case, pop the new timer into the case, re-attach the existing wires to the new timer, set the new timer, and turn on the power. It just requires a phillips screwdriver. There are several YouTube videos available. I don't know what the pool maintenance company would have charged me for this fix, but I know it would have been much more than the fifty-some dollars I spent for the timer at Home Depot.

Used to replace old pool pump timer. It fit the old timer box. The instructions were very clear on the connection options which there where many. Came with everything i needed. First time home owner was very easy to connect. Works great!

Product was an excellent price and was readily available at my local Home Depot. I have given this product 'excellent' ratings based on this and the ease of installation. However, only long term use of the timer will really tell whether this was a good value, or not. We will see but, as with other products that I have purchased from Home Depot, my confidence level is high!

It is an exact match to the defective one. All the mounting screws and electrical connections are the same also.

I've used these timers on my pool pumps for 25 years. My original timers lasted until this past year and I had to replace both of them. Very well made and replaced the old timer with no problems. Highly recommend for pool pump control.

The unit replaced an identical unit that had a broken turn-on arm in the mechanism. The original unit was probably over 20 years old.

This was an exact replacement for the pool timer in the Intermatic enclosure. The Home Depot had the mechanism in a separate enclosure and just the mechanism; Tammy was able to point me to the right place after I told her what I needed.
