I bought two of these and didn't assemble either since the predrilled bolt holes did not align on either set. So I got stuck on step 1, attaching the top to the left side. I thought one was maybe a fluke but both were messed up and I took it for an early indication that quality control was insufficient. I'm disappointed because these otherwise seem really nice and I wasted a couple hours unpacking and repacking pieces and now they'll likely go to waste. Points for easy delivery and return.

Not up to par. Drawer slides were off alignment. Pre-drilled holes had split in wood, 2 pieces were not pre-drilled and several screws were sheared short or had a full head (see photos). Better off shopping at IKEA as they do better job with quality control at a better price

Good quality, easy to put together, perfect size fro small bedroom. I painted this piece and used different hardware I had to match other furniture in the room. Love it!

Looked for a dresser for several months to fit next to my bed due to smaller bedrooms. Found this and finished it to my liking.

Bought this dresser and 2 night stands for the master bedroom. I had a custom built tv console and bed frame I made and really wanted my other furniture to match. Being to busy with other projects and unmotivated to build my own dresser I opted on trying these unfinished pieces. Came our great! I bought my own hardware online to replace the cheaper looking wood knobs and it looks like something in a store that would cost 2-3 times as much. Highly recommend for the Diyer looking for a custom looking piece without all the labor of building a piece yourself. Painted with grey chalk paint and stained the drawers and top with varathane briarsmoke!

Solid wood, easy assembly, very sturdy feel. Parts fit together very well - good tolerances by manufacturer. Stained ours with teak oil - came out very nice. Compared to cost of MDF versions this was a far superior buy. Came with wooden drawer handles but we elected to purchase some brass ones to install instead. Would not hesitate to purchase again.

Nice solid piece for the price. Add you own stain finish and nice knobs for a personalized touch.

As an architect, I am very impressed with the workmanship in our two bedside chests. Coming from Vietnam, the pieces were very well protected in their packaging. The finish of the wood is excellent; I just wiped it with a tack cloth before painting. The pieces are straight-forward to assemble with steps illustrated graphically. I was especially pleased that the rails for the drawers were preinstalled on the side panels to assure level installation. The wood members and the anchor points are all provided with very close tolerance, much appreciated. I used metal pulls instead of the included wood knobs, only a matter of drilling holes for the second anchor.

Decided to purchase this dresser to have more space, arrived well packaged, and the directions were pretty good. Had to look at pictures closely to determine which way the rollers on the draws went. You may want to sand the parts better before starting. I stained the top, excepted stain very well, but needed to be sanded before. 2nd, I painted all the other parts. I added several ounces (per directions) of Floetrol (Latex Base got at Home Depot) to the paint to eliminate brush and roller marks, and that worked great. No brush and roller marks, looked like the parts were dipped. Was provided the correct number of screws. Would recommend a 2nd person to help put together, but a single person can do it, just a bit longer. Attached is a photo, it's a little dark bc of lighting in room.

Rhis dresser was delivered and is missing the bag of screws, erc. How am i supposed to assemble it?

Great quality for the price! Solid wood, unlike most furniture at this price point. Lots of storage space. Drawers open and close smoothly. I painted it and replaced the drawer pulls. Love it.

I finally got this finished and I am thrilled with the way it turned out! As always, the craftsmanship of the dresser is superb. Now I only need the 6-drawer dresser to go with this and my bedroom will be finished!

Easy to assemble and very nice looking . We painted the bottom and stained the top. There was a triangular area on top that the stain revealed , not enough to worry about but we think something A box? was stored on top for some time ,and a chemical or something caused that?

The newest trend in Unfinished furniture is rubberwood or parawood and most of it is built in Vietnam. I have to say that I am impressed with the quality of the pieces I've gotten (including an island, a coffee table, a leather couch, a dining table, four chairs and end table) from Vietnam and in the long run, they are going to give IKEA a run for their money. Why? All of the items mentioned about are SOLID wood. Not chipboard, not cardboard, not laminate or foil-covered. Real, solid wood. That being said, you still have to build the pieces, but with this dresser most of the harder parts were already done. The slides for the drawers were already in place. Once we got the entire case built without the drawers in place, it was rather wobbly, (thus the three star rating) even with a center rail. So, we opted to put a piece of luan over the entire back and the bottom which helped stabilize the piece greatly. The drawer knobs are throw-away in my book, and I bought nickel hardware knobs instead to give it a more "luxe" look. When it comes to putting a finish on rubberwood, I've learned that first you need to put a light layer of primer over the entire thing. This helps by filling in the pores of the wood, evening out the entire dark/light wood grain problem and also gives a bit of "tooth" to the surface for the next layer of finish (if you plan on a stain instead of paint) to sink into. Otherwise, you will have to apply many layers of stain to get the look you want. Rubberwood has a very tight grain and is filled with dried latex (sap) so it does not take finish very easily like pine or oak. I'm still in the middle of putting a finish on this piece, but I'm sure, much like the other pieces I own, it will turn out nicely and this is a good dresser for the price. Recommend but remember to add a layer of ply to the back or you will have a somewhat wobbly piece.

I couldn't really find a dresser that was in my price range that I liked so I decided to order this and finish it myself. It was VERY easy to put together- it only took me about an hour and I'm definitely not a very handy person. I added a stain an new hardware and it looks like a million bucks! I definitely recommend this.

The chest was easy to build. Was packed very well. I stained the chest and it turned out great. Purchased in Oct 2023.

Horrible chemical smell that will not go away. Called Home Depot who put me in contact with the distributor who advises to polyurethane it. Ugh. Don’t buy

It is a nice looking night stand but it is very unstable and can be easily pulled forward and seriously injur a child. It must be attached to the wall to be safe

It's hard to find solid new wood furniture, so this was a good find. It was very well packed and arrived in perfect shape. Instructions might need a bit of improvement, but it went together nicely and fairly quickly once we found an alternate assembly method . A few of the drawers are a tiny wee bit off flush when closed, but all in all, it's a nice stylish set of drawers that's easy to live with and will last for many years.

This ready-to-assemble chest is of exceptional quality and amazingly easy to put together. It took two of us about an hour to assemble. It is so pretty and comes ready to finish any way you like from a natural wood sealed in a clear coat to a stained finish to a painted coating. We are still trying to decide what finish will be best for our chest.

This is the worst piece of furniture I've ever assembled. Instructions were not bad, and while it wasn't easy to assemble it wasn't horrible either.

The quality is good but the drawers leave a bit of gap in between each

Not sure why some reviews said it was hard to assemble. I thought it was very easy and quick, and I assembled it alone, no need for 2 people. Hardest part was putting the back on, but it worked fine with a little patience. My only complaint was that my package was missing 8 small screws. I found replacements. Really like this!
