Love my Jackery 550!
I love my new Jackery 550! I tested charging it with my new Jackery solar saga solar panel outside in full sun at about 60% charged and it charged fully in less than 2 hours. I love all the nice features and will come in handy for power outages.

Stable power
Great unit! We are in the middle of a home remodel and needed a stable generator for running computers and wifi when the electric service was upgraded. Even ran a floor fan and everything else for about 6 hours before plugging up the solar panel. Wish the cord for the panel was longer, not a deal breaker but size does matter. Very very cool that you can charge usb and usb-c right from the solar panel. Can’t wait to play more with it camping

Overpriced...short battery life
1,200.00 dollars down the drain. After purchasing you'll find that most of the positive reviews are likely fake. Unless these people bought it solely to power an led light bulb.
I bought to power an instant pot, tablet and a heated 150 watt electric blanket. Easily drains the battery after 2-4 hours. And takes about 6-12 hours to recharge with solar panels...depending on the number purchased.
Please do your research before purchasing. The battery only has 500 charge cycles before it is compromised. And they dont even include all of the needed accessories to run the solar panels if you buy a bundle deal. If money is tight I feel I could have found a better alternative if I had taken the time to research the market. But the positive reviews tricked me into making an impulsive purchase.

The combined power of these appliances is about 250W, and the Explorer 880 can power them for about 3 hours, which is in line with our advertising. If you need longer using time, you can buy another Jackery portable power station with larger capacity.
As we advertised, it takes about 10 hours to charge the Explorer 880 with one solar panel, and about 6.5 hours to charge it with two solar panels.
The 500-cycle lifespan means that the capacity will be reduced by 10% after using 500 cycles, rather than being directly damaged and unusable.
The accessories needed to run the solar panels are included in the package. If you find that there are none, please contact our customer service team and we will send a free one for you.

Don't Let Panels Get Rained On
This system, to me, is no good because the panels cannot stay out in wet weather. Having a waterproof system for emergency usage is fundamental. Look for IP67 equipment.

Love this unit, easy to operate/charge and use. Provides all the power I need, and usage window is easily readable, plus lightweight to carry. Quality product all the way around. I use it in my trailer to power the television and satellite dish, without draining my battery, plus other items. It is versatile and easy to take anywhere, plus, I like the many recharge options. Top notch quality, I definitely would buy it again!

Overall I am impressed with the Jackery 1000W generator. I tested the generator by plugging in my full sized refrigerator/freezer in the garage into the generator. The average maximum draw was 500W and had the refrigerator plugged in for 5 hours. After 5 hours the battery was down to 40%. Then I used one set of solar panels to recharge. It recharged slightly more than 90W in very sunny conditions and in about 6 it was fully recharged. It is very easy to use and I like how compact and the light the generator is for camping.

Your website is a little deceiving. You advertise a 2000 watt generator when it really is a 1,000 watt generator.
Charging time with a 90 watt solar panel takes all day in peak sun conditions.

1000-watt is the continuous output and 2000-watt is the peak output； You need to spend all day charging the product with 1 panel because of the big Capacity (880Wh), this charging speed is fast; If you want faster, please buy more panels to charge it.

For someone only needing 500 watts. Advertisement was misleading. Thought it was a 1000 watt gene...
For someone only needing 500 watts. Advertisement was misleading. Thought it was a 1000 watt generator. Really only 500 watts. 1000 was for surge. The panel I received was only 90 watts. I have had it about 3 months. It does power my tiny 6 can fridge all night leaving 46% energy however. I was wanting something to power my cpap also and not be completely drained.

Just unpacked it seems like its ready to go out of the box. Bought second solar panel for faster charging. Home Depot recommends two so I did. What they don't tell you it you need a connector that is sold separately and no longer available for purchase anywhere! So now I get to go to electronics store and make my own.
