It's a good mix, but I still had to add more vermiculite.

For a seed starting mix is sure had a lot of sticks, and what looked like Roots. Had to go through it all by hand was a big pain

A must for all seed starters. Uniform and lightweight.

I found the Jiffy seed starting mix to be much better than the Miracle Gro seed starting mix. The Miracle Gro mix had lots of sticks and twigs, and large perlite pebbles that do not belong is a seed stating mix, IMO. The Jiffy mix was without sticks, twigs and perlite pebbles, and was a very smooth consistency, making it much easier to fill the trays.

Perfect starter mix for seeds

Good size at 12qt it would be nice if they made it extra large 16qt so I'd have enough for all my plants instead of mixing some in , but grows good plants and smells right

I like using seed starter. Just moisten and your are good to go. Seeds germinate with no problems.

When i water my plants it just collects on the surface until i poke little holes. Ive been watering from the bottom instead and thats doing alright. Not a dirt conisseur though. My plants seem to be doing fine. Got green onions and a normal white onion in it.
