It did what it was intended to do

How can I rate a lawnmower belt? It fits, it makes the blades spin round and round. It was a genuine John Deere product.

Excellent replacement for our worn out belt. Easy to install

If you have an E130 or mower with non adjustable spring tension bracket you have to Mod the bracket or it will likely get severed. This belt broke on 2nd use on my E130. The BELT itself is great. Carefully installed it, but it became loose enough to get caught in between front most pulley and bracket and was severed and stuck there. The E130 doesn't have an adjustable belt tension bracket which is the problem. I'm not sure they will even refund it even though it happened because of a design flaw on the E130. I had to spot weld a temporary 2mm thick tiny plate on the bracket to give slightly more spring tension which I can grind off and re-weld when needed and seems to be working with a new JD belt. I still give 4 stars because the belt wasn't at fault.

Recommended belt replacement for mower deck.

Belt works perfectly and will likely last longer than the cheaper equivalent. I used this DIY on Youtube from the One Handed Mechanic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgBM6OO3rVU for instructions on replacing the mow deck belt. Best DIY video I found on the subject.

Installed easily. The blade engages much quicker now.
