I've always bought John deere and wasn't displeased with this one, have only used for a few things since winter but has met all my expectations. Shipping to my house was the best part. It came shrink wrapped on a.pallet. there was no damage to it or the box with the bagger that I could see. I have inspected it and all was great. It even had the oil already I. It, all I had to do ws add gas.

I am giving 1 star because Home Depot customer service is so bad. I chose delivery and they could only deliver the mower at 8pm. Also the battery was dead. The employees at Home Depot could have cared less.

{..TrueFuel..} in various Metal Cans ...opened good for 2 years - zero "ethanol content" = mandatory instead of E-85 Vehicle Gasoline = perfect for ALL J.D. Mowers!

JUST Have new inner tubes installed....low cost / "permanent" elimination of [Flat Tires] problem.

Now that CA only has E85 gasoline for sale, I must buy & use those mini-cans of {Special Gas} herein at H.D. and/pr Lawn Mower Equipment Shops....Never use E85in any Mower Equipment ! ...eli

I bought the s100 June 2021 in short had 1 belt issue ok fine the machine was well maintained now it’s 2yrs 5 months I was mowing 10 minutes engine locked up oil is at perfect level I called John Deere told me to call dealer dealer said call jd you would think Jd would try to help me out since the warranty is 5 months past 24 month warranty instead giving me run around dealer wants me to pay him to diagnose the engine for 135 said if jd doesn’t want to help you it will cost me 1000 dollars to fix it just imagine they say these machines should run 2000 hrs I have 60 hrs bottom line when you think your buying a quality machine for a lot of money and Being as large as they are they just don’t care I don’t have that kind of money to put back into that machine so I will call jd one more time this will be my 3rd call to them I’m stuck thanks JD also Home Depot no help

Tractor arrive without a battery and no battery connectors because the cables had been cut and the battery removed. Someone did not check tractor before it was sent out. So, I sent it back and ordered another tractor from different dealer. Obviously, this tractor came from the lot which may have been okay, but someone took the battery. So, I had the delivery person take it back.

When I recorded the mower, the battery was dead. I was able to jump start it, but I don't know if the battery is any good, out of I'll need to replace it. It is the end of the morning season so I won't know until next season if the battery is bad.

Replaced my 20+ year mower! Wish I had purchased a John Deere before!

Delivery was good, have not had any issues with the mower deck except the clean out host hookup is really close to the dismounting area if you’re right handed. I’ve kicked mine by accident and broke it off dismounting. Deck cuts well. The attachments all connect really well, the mower has more than enough power to pull all of them. Fuel gauge absolutely sucks. Fuel take isn’t very secure and moves around a lot. Seat is comfortable and I’ve had no mechanical issues since I’ve bought it.

Mower runs great. Mulching kit not as easy to install as expected. Had to remove the shoot to put it on. Was not spelled out in instructions.

The forward/backward foot pedals. Just bought it end of October but have done some mowing/mulching

Wish it came with mulching blades but it’s very nice mower.

Homedepot only allows 500 characters which doesn’t begin to allow me to explain everything they do wrong. Just know if you buy a riding lawn mower from homedepot it will NOT be configured as it us supposed to so make sure to be good at turning wrenches and fixing things if you do. My battery and terminals were loose, mowing deck crooked, and twice the pressure that should have been in the tires. Oh and it came with rust from sitting outside

Works as expected, the gas tank seems a little loose, battery sits loose in the tray too

The battery was dead had to charge. There is some vibration went mower blades are engaged.

Love the ease of use! Even a 60 yr old great grand mother can operate it. With 10 acres and hauling my little trailer behind it makes all my tasks so much easier. Love it!!
