We’ve only had it installed a month but so far we love it! It wasn’t difficult to install. Love its sleek design and the bowl is so easy to clean. The forward motion flushing handle took a bit to get used to but overall we like it and it’s a quality product! I’d recommend it!

don't order a 14-inch rough-in toilet.
I purchased a 14-inch rough-in toilet because a 12-inch rough-in toilet would be too far from the back wall. The toilet came and a 14-inch rough-in adaptor also came in a seprate box. I hired a plumber to install the toilet. He installed the 14-inch rough-in adaptor and put the toilet bowl on top. the toilet installation holes did not line up with the clamps for the 14-inch rough-in. The bowl still lines up with the 12-inch rough-in adaptor kit. Not happy with Hohler and after spending extra money for a 14-inch rough-in toilet and to be sent a regular toilet was very disappointing.

Hi nnirad, this is Sarah with Kohler Co. I'm very sorry to hear your 14" rough-in adapter kit isn't helping with your toilet installation. This is for use with a 14" rough-in. This distance is measured from the wall to the center of the waste pipe. Using the 14" rough in kit will not change a toilet bowl location on the floor. Nice Toilet
We had three of these installed in our new house and even after a year, are still disappointed. Comfort Height is not the same as the Kohler toilets we had in the house we built in 1992. I have 2 knee replacements and getting on/off is difficult. Otherwise, nice toilet as far as cleaning the inside. Installed only inches from the wall so haven't found a good way to clean behind them. The quiet flush is nice too.

Oops
The tank handle was broken. Oops. Not sure why but appears to be a less than sturdy connection where the handle mechanism protrudes through the tank.

Looks great and easy to install
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for a remodeled powder room. The skirted look is much nicer than a traditional toilet. Even better for a do-it-yourselfer, the installation system takes the potential error out of mispositioning and ruining a wax ring. Would have given 5 stars, but unless you want a chrome lever you have to order a coordinating lever (e.g. oil rubbed bronze) separately at fairly substantial cost for just a lever.

ContinuousClean is magic!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical at first about the ContinuousClean feature but have grown to love it! This toilet looks great with the skirted trapway and I have to clean it 3x LESS than any of my other toilets, it really repels dirt and I describe it like RainX for your toilet bowl.

Hello Gary2, this is Laura with Kohler Co. I am sorry your toilet is experiencing low water in the bowl. We see this happen when the refill/overflow tube in the tank, is not positioned correctly. One end of the tube is connected to the fill valve on the left, and the other end must be pushed onto the top post of the flush valve, in the center of the tank. No complaints so far. I wasn’t sure about about the Ready Lock system but now that I’ve installed one I never want to do a toilet without it. Takes the guesswork out of hitting the hole perfectly centered. It does seem to stay a little cleaner longer due to the surface of the porcelain. No wax ring, seat, or bolts included which is about normal for Kohler, but had some on hand.

Is a very nice toilet design but had to return. Be aware the base is very wide and goes almost all the way to the wall resulting in the water valve needing to be properly offset from the centerline of your drain. Make sure to check the specification and existing valve location if replacing.

I’ve been a life long Kohler customer but I have to say that trying to purchase this toilet has been the most frustrating experience. First it took 3 orders to finally receive a toilet that was not visually defective (cracked, chipped, etc). Then when I finally received one that was in good looking order I took out the old one installed the new one to find that the intake valve wouldn’t stop taking in water and that release valve constantly leaked into the bowel. When I contacted Kohler customer service via chat I was directed towards a video on how to remove old flaps etc… Overall not what i’ve come to expect form Kohler - especially at this price point for a toilet, will be returning it and looking at TOTO.

This may be caused by debris that has gone through your water line and has gotten stuck in the fill valve. It can happen after a new toilet is installed or the water is shut off to the toilet for an extended period of time. It can also occur if there is any sediment that has gone through the water line. We would suggest flushing out the fill valve as this will most likely eliminate this problem. It’s been installed for 2 weeks and everyone in the family likes it. Flush is strong, the continuous clean option is great. The outside skirt around the base makes cleaning easy. The install was straight forward; if you are installing toilet on a concrete foundation, you may need 2 concrete bolts.
