I did a lot of research on fixtures and landed on this one for our bathroom remodel. While the style and design are nice, the horrible water spots takeaway from its aesthetics. After living with them for the past month, I'm increasingly frustrated with the quality of the materials. We also have the matching fixtures on our double sinks and they're equally problematic with water spots no matter how much we clean them. As a few others have mentioned, I expected more from Kohler and am disappointed with the materials used.

We just remodeled two bathrooms. I bought new Kohler toilets and for the main bathroom I wanted to get quality faucets for the counter and the shower, so I bought the new Kallan model in brushed nickel for both. They look really nice but after the first shower the faucet and the handle show ugly water spots. I tried to wipe them off but some spots remained. So now I have to decide if I want to buy a bottle of spot remover to use after every shower or return them for another brand and pay the plumber again for a new installation. I wouldn't have expected this from Kohler for such an expensive product. Has anyone else experienced this with this model?

The Kohler Kallan Rite-Temp Single-Handle 1-Spray Tub and Shower Faucet in Oil-Rubbed Bronze (Valve Included) was shipped in the retail box but made it undamaged which was luck as it does not have a lot of packing. It looks great, all of the parts have the oil rubbed finish and the spray head does have 3 settings. Of course the jets are a black rubber. their is a small tab you turn on the spray head to switch between the 3 [ picture of tab attached below ] All of the trim parts are made of metal except for as mentioned above and the internal guts of the spray head. This set includes a plumb in valve so it does not require in a rough in box. At the same time the included valve will not work as a replacement valve for a rough in box system as it connects directly to the plumbing. It has 3 sets of instructions in multiple languages with pictures, one for plumbing. one for the valve it self , set up and 1 for the trim set. They are not all together, their are 2 in the valves box. This is a complete set and does not require any additional parts to make it work beyond connecting it to existing or new plumbing. best of all it has a life time warranty.

We've been using the shower faucet for about a week now and love it. First, I love the oil-rubbed look. It gives the shower a classic yet upscale look. The faucet itself allows for a comfortable and strong water pressure. Installation was easy; I was able to essentially just screw in the faucet and go from there. We have yet to use the tub attachment, but I have no doubt it will look and work great as well. Two disappointments: The separate instructions for each piece (this made it just a bit confusing) and the wall covers and shower head were made out of plastic rather than metal.

Solid construction, simple design. The units has a unique contemporary flare to it. The Koehler name lives up to its reputation here. Well made and an easy installation. The interior valve itself is solid brass. No plastic. The shower head piece is not the most beefy component. The reality is that once it’s installed, you really do need to manipulate it. The head does have 3 spray options. Massage, rinse and wide. I would buy this product again.

My Kohler Kallan rite-temp single-handle 3-spray tub and shower faucet in vibrant brushed nickel (valve included ) is beautiful. I love the 3-spray options : powerful massage, intense drenching and wide coverage. It has rite-temp pressure-balancing technology which maintains water temperature within +/- 3 degrees f. The MasterClean spray face resists hard-water buildup. Kohler knows how to build quality products and this is another one.

For a Kohler product, I am disappointed in the quality; it feels very cheap. Granted, it looks nice. I also had to return the first set as the valve was defective.

Bought this twice because the tub faucet has a piece that falls out each time we tried installing it. Koehler is always busy so no answer yet on getting a replacement part.

This product looks so great in my tub.

Do not purchase Kohler Kallan bath accessories. Stains badly and it has to be wiped thoroughly every time we wash our hands or shower or have a bath! We have all the accessories installed in our new home and we do not like this product.

Box was opened and parts were missing. Called and went to the store to get missing parts. Store clerks were kerfuffled over the $10 difference in price. This model isn’t sold at stores anymore.

I bought this thinking I was getting a good brand and product for a simple bathroom update. I definitely love the look of the product but after a month of use it looks HORRIBLE!!! The ugly water stains makes it look worse than before. I have tried to clean them but no luck. So now I have to decide if we bite the bullet and just replace but since its new not to big on just shelling out more money. Luckily it is in the shower so might just have to live with it.

The handle is farther out than it looked like.in my small (36x36) shower, we have to a little careful. BUT, it does look very nice.
