After 4 good ones I got a lemon this time
Moved into my 1/1 "forever" home Oct 2021. This is my 5th new Kohler white kitchen sink in a lifetime of building/moving so I know what they are supposed to be. Almost immediately after move in there were two dull, raised, lines in the bottom of the sink that would absorb stains. Now I've been in for 7 months and there are other areas worn as well. Sure I can clean it but the finish is GONE so it stains daily if used. I'm a single 62 year old so it's not getting heavy use for sure.

Enamel started cracking less than a week after it was plumbed in and installed. Now I’ve to rip it out and replace with anything else but Kohler. Very disappointed with this manufacturer, they’re not the same quality they used to be.

This sink is beautiful and efficiently sized. I was looking for a sink that would fit within a 30” Ikea cabinet and this one fits really nicely. I was a little worried it would not be big enough but actually it feels plenty big even while cleaning larger things like cutting boards and pans.

I rate this 5 of 5 stars. This sink rims very nice on a granite top. It is extremely durable and the beauty of it never goes out of style. Had the same sink in my previous house. Looked the same as the day installed after several year's of use.

The sink was a great replacement to the Americast / American Standard sink that was defective and had rusted at the edge of the sink and was starting to rust in other parts as well. This sink was easy to install and has a great finish on it. The Kohler drain is heavy duty and works well. This is good value for the price.

This sink is gorgeous and it fit right into the space. Sink is 25" wide. The sink did, however, wobble a bit in the space....making me think my countertop was not level....but the plumber/installer of the sink said that, in his opinion, it was the SINK that was warped, causing it to wobble in the space. My plumber was able to be sure the sink was level and didn't wobble by using a shim and then using clear caulk all around the edge of the sink....the sink was about 1/4" higher (off the countertop) on one side than the other, but the Shim and caulk made this difference unnoticeable. I love this sink!!! I got a rubber mat to put on the bottom of the sink to use when I'm washing dishes, so as to protect the sink and so as to not break a glass when washing if I accidentally drop one.

Could not believe the difference it made in my kitchen when they replaced the old, beat-up almond sink with this beautiful, bright, new white one. Changed the whole look of the room. Very happy with it.

        Best sink
My Koehler sink lookalike fantastic. This is our second time purchasing a Koehler sink. The first one lasted 25 years and would have gone longer if I didn't change my kitchen colors. Great value. Also I purchased my new Formica counter with you and I am so happy with it. Quality is great.

        Very nice sink
We bought this sink for a second kitchen area when my sister moved in with us, so it does not get used as much as a 'full-time' sink does. However, it's perfect for that spot. She is extremely happy with the looks and the quality of the sink. The plumber didn't have any complaints installing it, so I'm assuming there were no issues there. I like it so well, I will probably get one in this line for the main kitchen when we re-do it.

        Warped sink
If it wasn't warped I'd be happy. I bought this just over a year ago, so it's a month too late to return. It has a one year warrantee. I didn't feel like pulling it out and replacing it. Waiting for a new one, possibly paying S&H and all that. I now wish I had. I always notice the 1/4 gap filled with GE white silicone. Plus it's about time to re-caulk, so that's a pain. it's a gamble, like I said if it was flat I'd recommend it, but mine isn't so I can't. How can something this warped leave the factory? I have no idea. It makes me wonder about their quality assurance though. I think I'll try to get it replaced anyway and update (if I can).

          Great sink for the money!
I bought this sink to upgrade the old sink in my RV. It's deep, it's wide, it looks awesome and best of all, my wife loves it! (A plus for all of you do-it-yourself husbands out there) If you're any type of a handyman and you're familiar with replacing a kitchen sink, you'll know there might be some cutting to do, i.e. the surrounding tile, the granite, the Corian, etc. This page gives you access to the sink dimensions and schematics so you should be able to measure in advance and see if you need to cut the kitchen surface area to have the sink fit. Depending on what type of material you're working with, you should know what tools and blades to use. The plumbing part of the installation is easier than it seems. Again, just plan ahead and make sure you have all of the required tools and material. Buying plumbers putty, plumbers tap, a nice new faucet, a drain and all of the required hoses will turn five trips to Home Depot into just one. So plan ahead! The nice thing about a drop-in sink verses an under-the-counter sink is that you don't need to be too accurate when you cut the countertop. There is room for error because of the 1/2-inch overhang (lip) on the sink which will cover any blemishes, or cutting mistakes. The only issue that I had with the sink was its weight, and that's only because I am 57 years old and picking it up numerous times was a bit cumbersome for an old guy like me. Remember, it's made of cast iron, not stainless steel, or plastic, so be prepared to break a sweat when installing it. On the flip side of this statement, the cost savings on this sink far outweighed the number of times I had to lift it off of the floor. Besides, I got my weekly workout done in one day. Overall I am extremely happy with this sink and I love the added value to my RV. Look at my pictures and you be the judge. A pleasantly satisfied Home Depot junkie.

          Great Sink
We replaced an old cast iron Kohler sink that was 74 years old (manufacture date was July 1940). The new one fit perfectly into the space of the old one. Everything was very easy, but the sinks were heavy and kind of difficult to handle. My wife and I did it together and we are very happy with the new sink. In addition, we updated the drain pipe and bought a new faucet from our local Home Depot store. We bought the stainless steel basin rack online from Home Depot to protect the sink. With proper care, I think the new one will last as long as the old one. Online order and delivery to local store (for free) went smoothly. My wife loves the new sink. Thanks Home Depot.

Exactly as advertised. Should last a lifetime.
Sink is exactly as advertised. It is obviously very well made, and should last a lifetime. Far nicer than the everyday stainless sinks I see in most homes. Easy to clean. The 1.5 inch rim distance to the bowl allowed me to install a 25X22 sink in a 24 inch sink base. (Not recommended for the faint of heart!) Couldn't be more pleased with this sink. (Unless it dispensed beer)

          Looks great!
I replaced my old stainless sink with this cast iron one and it makes a huge difference. My new faucet fit perfectly in it. I also added an InSinkerator disposal with no problems. Installation was fairly easy. As with all plumbing, it's awkward when you're working under the counters. I personally added the faucet to the sink before I set it in the counter opening. That saved me from having to reach far behind and screw the connections together in an uncomfortable position. The only cumbersome part was the weight. This thing weights close to 80 lbs I believe. So, it's a little tough getting it into position gently. It helps to have another set of hands. So far, it's great! I'd also recommend the stainless rack that goes in the basin.

Cast iron sinks are a classic drop-in type, and this one is finished nicely. We purchased this to replace the exact same model that we've used and abused for about 20 years in our laundry room... cleaning paint brushes, saw blades and whatever else. It held up well, but years of cleaning stains around the drain became a dull gray ring around the drain. When our faucet actually rusted thru and failed, we decided to replace the sink while replacing the faucet. We were surprised that Kohler still makes the exact same unit, and given the hole in our granite counter top was cut for this sink we decided to get another one. Two things to know; First, virtually all cast iron sinks tend to warp a little in the manufacturing process. Our original was almost perfect; this one rocked on a diagonal about 1/32" or so. That little out-of-flat was easily addressed by ensuring the front edge was flat against the counter top and allowing the back corner to be raised slightly. Once caulked, it looks perfect. Second, these sinks are not packed for safe transport in the provided box. It took three tries to get an undamaged sink. They put a nice thick styrofoam under the bottom of the sink, but the top edge that you'll actually see has just thin styrofoam on each corner. This being an 80 lb sink is tough for delivery folks to handle, and this just isn't enough protection to be shipped without an additional carton with additional padding. Two home deliveries didn't work out, but the third time we tried a store delivery. While one of the corner foam pieces was destroyed and the box had some damage, the sink was still in perfect condition. Note that this sink is not porcelain coated, it is enameled. The finish is very smooth and shiny, and with a little care it should hold up well.

This was purchased to replace an acrylic sink, that didn't hold up. This sink so far is very easy to keep clean with its glossy finish. I have only used a plastic scouring pad to keep it clean. And being cast iron it has dampened the noise of the garbage disposal. I expect to get excellent use from this sink for many many years
