The bottom scratches so easy!
I haven't had this sink a week and I have several scratches on the bottom already. You would think paying more money would get you better quality...this is not the case. I've just washed basic items in this sink and the amount of scratches are insane. It was like I was taking a knife and purposely scratching it. This sink belongs in a show room, not in a everyday kitchen.

Scratches in stainless steel sinks are normal and will blend in as part of the sink over time. You can reduce minor scratching by using Kohler Stainless Steel Cleaner or Bar Keeper's Friend Soft Cleanser and a soft cloth, rubbing with the grain of the sink. We also recommend the use of bottom basin racks to help protect the basin of the sink; K-3129-ST is the recommend basin rack for this sink. More warped than not!!!!!!!!!!
A warped sink should not be a problem when you buy a name like Kohler. The front edge of my sink was extremely warped and had to be exchanged for a new one. 5 Home Depot's later to find one thats not screwed up, sink looks great, but read some of the reviews. Completely ridiculous.

you get what you pay for
Wanted a single basin sink for kitchen. Spent time looking, went with Kohler thinking that its name stood for quality verses Glacier Bay and other off brands. I really liked its shape. Boy was I fooled. I was replacing a 15 year old double basin sink low cost contractors special that had seen better days. It was water stained (hard water here in the desert), but scratchless. First things first, sink didn't sit flush on counter, mounting screws way too short, jerry-rigged with longer nuts and bolts that did the job of leveling and flushing the front of the sink. I was satisfied that this was remedied. Now 2 weeks later, scratches galore all over the bottom. Who makes a sink that can't withstand normal day to day dishwashing, especially a company that makes its living making sinks and fixtures. To say the least, pretty disappointed with Kohler.

Good looking sink, excepted that it started rusting immediately along the right side rim. I contacted Kohler, and they blamed it on exposure to metal filings or bleach products, neither of which exist in my kitchen. Terrible customer service from Kohler. The price of the installation was twice the cost of the sink, so even if they stood behind their product (which the didn't), I'd still be out money. Very disappointing service from a well known brand.

it looks not finished, not polished, it's supposed to be stainless but it's exactly the opposite, the color is dull, you see tiny lines on it like a couple of steps missing in the fabrication and polishing, every single drop of water leave a mark difficult to clean. I had several other stainless sinks before I have the whole kitchen appliances stainless, nothing like this sink, I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy..

However, these scratches will blend over time to create a unique finish. To blend the scratches, we suggest applying a stainless steel cleaner/polish (such as Bar Keeper's Friend) with a nonabrasive cloth or sponge, working with, not across, the grain. We do not recommend the use of steel wool, wire brushes or abrasive sponge pads. Use only non-scratch cleaning pads. We recommend cleaning stainless steel at least once a week. Allowing water to evaporate on metal will form water deposits. To avoid this and keep your product looking beautiful, it is important to wipe the sink clean with a soft cloth after each use. When I tried to install this sink the rails under the edges were too long. Rather than enlarge the opening I sawed a quarter inch off of all the ends. Then when I dropped the sink in I discovered that the front edge bowed up over a quarter inch. The same problem others have encountered. The counter top width did not allow space for fasteners to remove the bow. When I tried to return the sink the manager refused because it had been altered. This sink has two major faults, the rails are too long and the front edge is warped.

The Vers was this is a nice looking sink on display. It is even nicer installed in our counter. It replaces a 13 year old double sink. My wife likes the shiny appearance and the deep single bowl. The Vibrant Stainless Kohler Duostrainer also gives it an everlasting appearance. I hope that I do need to change it out for a very long time. Thank you Kohler for making my wife happy.

Beautiful sink. I'm finishing off my walkout basement this year and installed the sink in the small kitchen/bar area that was built. It's the perfect sink to use when entertaining friends and family during summer bar-b-ques. You can sit large items in the sink for cutting or cleaning. Matched it with the Kohler Rubicon Faucet.

Works great
I followed someone's directions in the reviews to tighten the clamps in the order like you'd tighten lug nuts on a tire; go one directly across from the one you started with, then in a star pattern. I had zero issues with any side popping up as I tightened. I put a thick bead of plummer putty all around, under the lip of the sink, before installing. Works great.

This sink is absolutely gorgeous! My mother purchased Kohler products for many years, but I shied away because they seemed pricier than most. The cost of this sink is completely worth it! Some reviewers complained of scratches - it IS stainless, it is going to scratch. You just have to be a little more careful of what and how you place items in the sink. I did purchase the sink grates but these things are pricey! The manufacturer wants about a third of what I paid for the sink for two of those, go to Amazon and save yourself about $35 bucks overall!
I highly recommend this sink for it's depth and beauty. With proper care, I believe it will last me for many years to come.

Purchased this sink to replace a somewhat beat up 6" deep sink that the previous owners installed. Removal of the old and installation of the new was pretty much straight forward except that my counter depth of 1 1/4" exceeded the normal application of the supplied clips designed for counter depth not exceeding 1". The previous installer solved this problem by not installing ANY clips (not even any caulking) which made removal of the old sink ridiculously easy. I however, discovered that by bending the tips of the clips downward about 45 degrees (see photo) I could make them grab the counter edge. The extra depth of the new sink required some changes to the drain piping of course but there was ample room in my case to allow this (depending on some drain configurations this might not always be possible so consider this before buying a deeper sink)
In any event, I'm quite happy with the finished results.

I ordered this sink to replace an existing kitchen sink which had two bowls (small one with disposal and "large" for washing dishes). I had to do a little plumbing to eliminate the second drain but easy enough for an enthusiastic home handyman. A bonus is that I have more useable room under the sink for storage. I enjoy the extra depth and overall size when cleaning pots and pans!
My only disappointment was that the dishes don't wash themselves :-( And, not a product deficiency, but now my family stacks more plates for me to load into the dishwasher. But hey, what was I thinking?
The product is good quality and good value. I would have liked to have thicker metal for a more quality feel but frankly this sink works great for the price.

We were replacing the original (non-ceramic) double bowl sink. This sink is a bit deeper and much more spacious than the one we replaced.
Installation was a snap, watch those sharp edges and use the clips to get a flush fitting. required one little notch out of the hole where the old sink came out (rounded corners vs square hole in countertop).
So far we're very happy with it.

Pros - very reasonable price.
Cons - Scratches way too easily! I have only been using this sink less than 1 week and there are already countless scratches from just a butter knife. So disappointing. O would return the sink if iIhadn't already caulked it to my granite counter top. I don't plan on ever buying another Kohler product in the future.
