Very difficult to use the strap down. In fact not useable.

Bought for a rental and it was already expired. Had to go to a different store to buy one. Inspector said he sees a lot of "new" extinguishers expired at HD

This was a 2024 purchase. Both extinguishers are dated 2021. Others I have purchased are dated 2023 and 2024. So you’re losing 3 yrs out of the 12 year lifespan.

Reputable company, perfectly sized, and easy to stow in my car.

Highly recommend having (1) in every house. Easy to use and could be a life saver.

I ordered a 2 pack and one came with the pin out of it, the contents all over both extinguishers, and it completely on empty

Bought the twin pack so I could replace one that was expired in the garage, and add one to the newer pole barn. I don;t like the hangers on these. Got one in the basement by the wood stove too. This time, the cheap, brittle strap broke upon installation, so the neck is all that is holding them both, but really, in an emergency, might work better getting to it anyways.

These come with no hardware for installation. Instructions are minimal. After I put the first one on the wall I found that I could not snap the straps. The instructions provide no advice other than snap the straps. I was pulling so hard I actually broke the end of the strap off. Finally I snapped the straps together empty, then crammed the fire extinguisher in and reefed on it to stretch them out. I was then able to snap the straps, barely. I repeated with the other one. Don't buy.

HOW do you know if a fire extinguisher meets your expectations until you use it?

looks ok. obviously, I have not checked it.

Buying this product puts peace of mind within me. Seeing product mounted in all rooms of the house is worth the money spent.

My elementary school child took this outside and discharged it. And then when, we had a fire and couldn't use it (Fortunately it was a clothes fire and water and suffocation put it out). Multiple Fire Gone can be had for less and will put out almost the same size fires. They also have more spray time than this one.

Great product, good size, good price.
