This grill looks good and cooks good , but the metal is so thin it rust very quickly. The parts that hold burner tube covers rusted through the back and one side in front. Contacted kitchenaid and no response.

Bought in April 2019 love it! Is 2022 and I have to replace it. I don’t live by the beach and is always covered. Last entire year it was stored inside.

Disappointed in this grill. Loved the color red but it's very thin metal and only 2 summers and it's burned on the lid and front. Our old grill was much better quality. This will never last 15yrs on warranty. It will be fried. Will not buy another.

Bought about 5yrs ago and used it on a regular basis. Noticed a dent in the cover after it was put together Figured out that a piece at the burner base needed to be turned around to use NG. Noticed rust after grilling the first time. Stainless steel grate still looks great along with most of the body. But defectors rusted after 1 year. And recently noticed the area where the burners attach at the rear, rusted through causing the left burner to drop. Right burner looks ready to do the same.

Perfect size, really like the heavy duty STAINLESS STEEL grates, quality, ease of assembly AND half the price of the Weber Sprit E-210! Plus the matching KitchenAid outdoor cover fits perfect.

We have had this grill under cover and covered for about 3 years. I went to put steaks on it today and the metal that holds up the left flavorizer is totally rotted. nothing to hold it up. The right one is doing the same thing. I will spend the extra money and get another Weber.

We’ve had our grill for awhile and use it often all year long. It still looks great and cleans up like new. Beat grill we’ve ever bought.

I purchased this grill in 2018.I had it for about a month and was using it on a regular basis.I was cooking a steak on it one day and was watering plants. Suddenly there was an explosion and flames came out, burnt my face and my arm. I had raised my arm to protect my face. I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance, fire department called it user error. They never really inspected the grill just put it the fire and were more concerned with me. I did have this assembled when purchased. Something was wrong with the hose, see attached pics. The fire was blowing out of the hole in the hose.

We bought this grill 5 years ago and was hoping to get more than 5 years. The grill looked good and we chose it over a Weber because it had a smaller foot print and seemed to be made well. But after a few years, the back of the grill slowly corroded and the parts that held up the flame tamers just broke off from corrosion. The cover that came with it also fell apart after a couple of years and I replaced it with a Weber grill cover. Other than that, it was a good grill that served us well (just a family of two) while it was still intact. We stopped using it because the flame tamers just fall through over the burners. It still looks good out there on our porch because the outside part seems to have held up well, ha ha! Giving it away to someone who might now how to weld because it still works. I think the manufacturer should learn about the longevity of their materials before using it with the Kitchen Aid name.

Bought this grill 3 yrs and 2 months ago and the it is rusted out and it is not usable and of course out of warranty! Can’t even fix it! And I used a cover on it too. So do not wastes your money it is trash!!!!

What a disappointing purchase, and a real testament to the decline in quality one normally would attribute to the historic KitchenAid name. The mounts that hold the heat covers above the propane flame unit rusted and disintegrated in 2 years. We kept it always covered when not in use, but to no avail. What cheap steel. It rusted completely through to the outside of the unit (see photo). For $200 more, I have since bought a Broil King made in Canada, with much stronger steel. Note: this is not Home Depot's fault. This is just a poor build quality of this unit.

I wish there had been more reviews available when we purchased this product. It appears this product has a known defective design flaw as most reviewers are showing the same issue. The worst part was that my communication with the claims department in may 2020 just kept asking for more and more photos or information or documentation etc. anything to just not acknowledge and accept responsibility for an obviously faulty product.

I wanted to like this shiny solid grill. Putting it together was straightforward and it looked good in the garage. What didn't work well was the heat. It was uneven (most of it front and center) and it seemed much cooler than prior grills - food just took longer to cook. Things went from bad to worse when the igniter started clicking on it's own. The entire ignition cabling had melted / disintegrated from poor shielding. Probably would have been okay hand lighting things myself, but with the gas on, I was a bit worried about the huge flare if the igniter did kick in with the family. Despite still under a year, it went to the curb. Didn't need or want the risk. Good or bad, a single guy junk picked it within minutes (fully informed). Best of luck!!

Bought and enjoyed this Grill for about a year. After this, I had to order some spare parts to replace parts that got rusted. Flavorizer bars, wheels, etc. Now after less than 2 years, the flavorizer bar stands are completely rusted and gas does not even come out evenly. When I inspected it, it is all rusted on the interior. I take care of my BBQ and make sure I degrease it and wash it every time I use it. I even bought all the accesories and cover. Did not hold up! Spend a little more and get a Weber, they offer a 10 year warranty

I wish I had read other reviews as it looks as tho many others have dealt with the same issue as me. I received this grill as a gift about two years ago and the part that holds the burner cover up has completed rusted away. In the middle of grilling season and we now don’t have a grill. I reached out and they are requesting a receipt, as this was a gift purchased 2 years ago finding that is not easy. I’ve been going back and forth for almost 10 days now with nothing accomplished. I really loved this grill as it has been perfect size for my husband and I...I had even thought of upgrading to a bigger product of theirs come next year. But I currently am not sure that’s in my best interest.

This is the worst gill I ever owned. The flame arms come out past the heat shield.... It cooks so uneven it's ridiculous. If the arms were more bent in it would probably be better.... Anytime I cook hamburgers my whole grill is on fire. Can't even get in there to take them off or flip them.

I bought this grill because we have an upper and lower outdoor space. All of our outdoor cooking stuff is on the lower patio, and sometimes running the stairs when putting something together for just the family (kitchen is up stairs) is a hassle. I found this little gem and swooped it up. It's the perfect size for everyday use, doesn't take up a ton of space, and looks very nice as well! I love it, and was able to put it together pretty easily. Instructions were clear, and it was up and running in no time! *****'s

I have owned many grills in my lifetime and one foundational element is required to maintain the longevity of your outdoor oven. You have to clean it!! I have had this bbq for 3 years and I use it often. I take it apart and clean all surfaces at least twice during grill season and ALWAYS at the end of the season. Also, you must cover the grill when not it use. The KitcheAid 2 burner is my favorite grill for many reasons. It’s the extra right size and folds up into a small space when not in use. It cooks well. It looks great and the tank is hidden from view. I will buy new heat shields this year and grease drawer in the event I need them next year. I am buying a second KitchenAid just like this one for by beach property.

I like the compact footprint and the stainless sreel cooking grates. Very easy to covert to natural gas as well.

I bought this grill and a cover in 2017. Out of the box the grill had very poor grilling abilities On full high you could hold your hand above the grates with no discomfort. After a year the heat deflectors above the burners where rusted away, this held temp some but still poor. Now 2020 back side of grill is rusted out and it still take 30-40 min to cook a hotdog.

I am disappointed to say the least. We loved this Grill and in less than a year, the entire inside top of the cover has started to peel off and fall onto the food below. We did the "burnout" upon purchasing the grill & followed all of the instructions and still the entire inside is peeling off. I certainly hope that they stand behind their product.

I always bought $99 grills every 2 years but went for the $300 for Kitchen aid expecting to have it for many years. After 2 1/2 years, it is shot. The top grates are all peeling and rusted underneath the peeling. The burner covers are also shot. Still looks good on the outside. Maybe good to plant some flowers in but not healthy to eat off of.

I purchased this Model in August of 2017 took the cover off tonight and happened to notice the back body of the grill has corroded all the way thru!! I couldn't believe it I remember going to Home Depot looking for a Weber and saw this for 100.00 dollars less thinking Kitchen Aide had always been a top end brand. A few months back I had also noticed the bottom of the base surface rusting but did not think much of it. Also very important to add is that this grill was covered at all times when not in use with a Kitchen Aide grill cover!! The cover is also in very brittle shape. Disappointed to say the least for years I have stood by Weber and told family and friends always buy a Weber they last ten years. I am disappointed in myself and Kitchen Aide for $300.00 a total rip off should of been $149.00 and sitting in the Char-Broil section. You live you learn and boy did I learn.

I really liked this product when I purchased and it performed well for the first two years. I kept it covered and under my roofed back porch. Unfortunately the burner assembly structure began to pop rivets (appears heat related) and now has rendered the integrity the interior parts and possible safety of use.

Arrived and I checked contents...... no assembly hardware, zero..... all other components neatly and correctly packaged and labeled. Not able to proceed with assembly..... called number listed in manual..... not open.... not even able to leave a message. Now what?

Was super thankful the store assembled for me! The grates are sturdy and easily cleaned. It lights quickly and gets really hot quickly. I wasn't used to that so walked away and came back to 800 degrees. Turning all the way down keeps it near 350-400 with both burners on. Does a great job!

Finally thought I found a quality-built SMALL grill for my Napa cabin. This grill is beautiful, love the folding sides, love the easy ignitor, the nice stainless and red-enameled elements, quality grates, thermostat on hood... terrific design all around with respect to housing. So, what a cryin' shame the darn thing cannot get hot enough to grill foods!! Who designed the innards of this grill!!?? We stood in astonishment and frustration as it took 25mins to cook a 1" ribeye to med rare with no sizzle (placed on grill after 15mins pre-heating, temp read 650F) never browned nor rendered the fat. Super gross to have big blobs of fat still clinging to your meat. Tough to get any char on veggies. No grill marks except we did discover ONE good spot if you tuck the item back right over the apex of the v-shaped burner. YES, we double-checkd the LP source (full) even bought a flow meter and tried with/without it in place. Honestly, such a disappointment after all the time to put together (which is fine, only took a screwdriver, great instructions, no problems there), but this baby going STRAIGHT BACK to Home Depot. Grilling should be fun, not frustrating, and supposed to provide high-heat direct cooking method. Really the only way we got the darn meat done was to keep closing the lid. THIS IS NOT A GRILL, THIS IS AN OUTDOOR GAS OVEN, tho not hot enough for pizza :(

I love this grill. I even purchased a clear grill cover so I can look at it when its covered. We just used it last weekend and everything was perfect. Stainless steel grates are heavy and easy to clean.

Great small footprint grill - heats quickly and evenly. The grill was easily converted to Natural Gas from propane. (Came with the correct orifices). Love the red color!
