[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a reluctant replacement for a 12yr old Whirlpool. So happy now the old dishwasher bit the dust! Love the 3rd rack option for small items and utensils. Quiet operation so it can be started without background racket. Rinse aid is a must if you want dry dishes at cycles end.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first evening I used my new kitchen aid dishwasher I wore myself out going into the kitchen several times to check and make sure was working. It dries the dishes completely so don’t get that musty dishwasher smell. It has been worth the price

Have had the unit about 1 year Absolute junk - at least 3 times they have tried to repair , Replaced motor and control board , many diagnostic tests Intermittently Noisey Bangs and Grinds. You can hear it in the next room Makes banging noises and clicks constantly Have to do 2 cycles to clean the dishes Company won't stand behind product Left on hold for customer service 27 minutes today before I gave up I will never buy this brand again !!!!!

We bought this dishwasher 2 years ago. Almost immediately it stopped drying the dishes and then soon after it stopped cleaning them. I’ve had several repairmen look at it and spent lots of money trying to get it working. I’ve tried different settings and tried cleaning all the parts. Recently It’s developed a disgusting smell inside even after the clean cycle. And a greasy film all over the inside that is now all over my dishes. It’s incredible but my dishes come out dirtier than when they entered, which is something because we always rinse before loading. I’ll never buy KitchenAid again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the upper shallow pullout drawer and the adjustable 2nd shelf. The interior is stainless steel and there tends to be water after the cycle, but it’s not bad. The front facade is hard to keep clean but that seems to be the case with stainless steel. It’s very quiet which was one of the criteria that was important to me.

It would be nice if you got an actual full operator's manual with it instead of just the abbreviated paper. The instructions on the rinse-aid dispenser were unclear as I was unfamiliar with this product. It took me awhile to realize that you fill up the dispenser and then it uses what it needs with each load. I thought you were to add the rinse-aid with each load, just as you do with the detergent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased dish washer at the end of summer. Love how quiet it is - have to put ear on door to hear it working inside. Sleek outer design makes it a perfect fit in our kitchen. However must be careful when closing to use upper, outer corners, or you will hit selector buttons, lol. Really love the upper 3rd rack for utensils and the 2nd row rack that can be lowered to make room for larger pieces. All of my Thanksgiving dishes, including pots and lids, fit inside and were 100% cleaned. Thank you KitchenAid!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Handled Thanksgiving dinner dishes without the normal pre wash we had to do with our old Kenmore dishwasher. Adjustable racks made it easy to load, top shelf was great for large knives and lids. Sparkling clean dishes are the result every time we use it. Best feature, it is almost silent! I have to keep checking the light on the panel to make sure it is running.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is so quiet!!! You barely know it's running. It has a sleek design. Middle rack easily adjusts to allow more height. There are only two negatives. There is an odor from the seal. I'm hoping it will abate in time. The dishes aren't dry at the end of any cycle, and I've tried them all.

And it is so quiet you don't even know it's on. I can fit a lot more dishes on here than my last one, thanks in part to the upper 3rd rack.

We can watch TV without having to crank up the volume or talk with guests in a normal voice. The interior has so much room It fits a couple of days of dishes at one go. Love the thid cutlery rack and the adjustable feature of the middle rack.
