They sent me a new one and I returned the broken one. The new one died after using it 3 times. I called customer service and, Murphy’s Law, it worked! I actually love it. Having an old house with few electrical outlets it is so handy, and works really well!

When I first got married, I had an off brand mixer that said fiver speeds, but mostly had fast or off. Then for the last 10 years, I’ve enjoyed my corded Kitchen Aid mixer which truly has all of the speeds needed and sits pretty level in the bowl. This year from Christmas, my mother gifted my sister and I cordless hand mixers from Kitchen Aid. They are a game changer. I no longer have to worry about mixing near a plug or turning the mixer around for the cord. I can even froth the top of my food while it is on the stove. This mixer is stable, stands on its own with the beters in, and I only change it every couple of months (with normal use).

Easy to take to the stove to mash potatoes in the pot. Cordless is the way to go for me, no going back! Need to sell my old KA hand mixer now. Also got the new flex edge beaters which worked perfectly in this.

It makes mixing a breeze and convenient when I've been standing for so long. I can sit and still work as I make cookie dough and cake batter as well as whipped cream and buttercreams!

Just a comment. I haven’t used cordless mixer. After reading the negative reviews, which is to many, I won’t be purchasing the cordless mixer. To many glitches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted an alternative from my KitchrnSif stand mixer for mixing small amounts of ingredients, and this mixer does fit the bill. I didn't expect it to be as powerful as the stand mixer, but I'm still a little disappointed that it doesn't have much "juice." Works fine for cake batter, eggs, pancake mix. But I wouldn't try to whip egg whites with it. The hand mixer is easy to hold, however, and I like that its design allows it to stand on end when it is charging or I need to set it down. With reservations, I'd recommend it to others as a handy tool for light mixing.
