I had only used my mother's KitchenAid mixer, so I wanted the same for myself. I was delighted to see the boysenberry color option!! I have used the handmixer a few times and it works great!! It feels sturdy and it's easy to clean!! I've always loved baking, but even more now that my handmixer is purple (boysenberry)!!!

Four months after purchase the plastic retainer rings broke and the pieces fell into the food. The beaters will no longer stay inserted, and it looks like the parts are not replaceable.

I have received this product as a gift for my Bridal shower in March. Since then I have only used it once. The initial time I have used this product I was happy with the results. Today I went to use the mixer to make a cheesecake and I can’t get the smaller beater to go into the mixer. I am not sure if a piece broke off with the prior use but I am disappointed because I was only able to use this one time and now it’s useless with one beater. I thought this product would be better and more durable especially knowing the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a bit heavy and it seems like the cookie dough I was mixing needed mixed longer because the beaters weren't doing a good job... they are too wide spaced.

I bought this mixer for lightweight baking and it gets the job done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a cook for over 50 yrs. Ive had many electric hand mixers over the years. My only semi negative issue with this hand mixer is the fact that while resting on its end (to enable the adding of more/other ingredients), I find that the mixer leans back too far which also prevents the beaters leaning fwd to drip back into the bowl. My old hand mixer was great, different brand, and I loved it but the beater bars rusted out. And I couldn't get replacement parts. I hope this Kitchen one has stronger ones.

This mixer had been quite good until yesterday when my wife was making cookies for our son's birthday and noticed a small chip of plastic in one of the cookies. We examined the mixer and noticed that plastic piece into which the mixers insert had chipped off. Fortunately, we think we found all the pieces but it was startling to say the least. We have a Kitchenaid dishwasher and refrigerator so this isn't an indictment of the brand, just our mixer.

I almost returned this because I thought- oh it's going to be heavy - there's no room in my kitchen etc- I was so glad I Tried it- this mixer is light, powerful and so easy to use and clean!!! The beaters just snap in and the eject button pops them out so easily to rinse off- my cake batter and icing and glaze were the smoothest they have ever been- also I use it with the kitchen aid mixing bowls - this has actually changed my life. Tonight - mashed potatoes!!! Awesome product. Tip: to rinse off beaters just put them in a bowl of soapy water and turn on the mixer for 3 seconds!!! - Fun!!

It does what a mixer is supposed to do AND its YELLOW!! I love the color.

My only negative, and why only 4 star is that they do not last for very long. I do think I had the last one for maybe 7 years top, which isn't bad. Why I bought the same mixer again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this hand mixer for the times when my good ol' Kitchen Aid stand mixer was too much for the job. This hand mixer is just the BEST. I love the lightness of it, and the new style blades are terrific. It has plenty of power to whip and blend light things like whipped cream, frosting, and preparing eggs, etc. Love the look of it and it is very easy to clean. The beater heads are different from one another, but there is a guide to show you which blade goes where. Super little mixer and I'm so glad Kitchen Aid offers it!
