I have mediocre punch down tool, with the basic crappy black steel blade didn't punch good at all. Switched to the stainless steel Klein and problem solved

Awesome product worked like a charm

Great tool, I only punch down all my connections once. The hook comes in handy when separating the wires.

I have a love/HATE relationship with this punch tool. I love the grip, love that it’s a little longer then most punch tools. But it doesn’t last. Klein has acknowledged the problem, but this is my 5th in the last 2.5 years. But to go back to a conventional feels so wrong. Please fix the problem!

I have purchased 3 of these kits, I was extremely impressed with the comfort grip of the tool and the handy pouch, I have been doing voice and data terminations for 12 years, i have a fluke punch tool that has worked for 7 years. The three Klein kits lasted between 3 days and 10 weeks. They were all three returned yesterday to Home depot. The problem is after a short period of time the impact stops working and when you shake it you can hear something rattling in the handle. I have been a lifelong Klien tool user however this has steered me in a totally different direction for all my tool purchases in the future.

Doesn’t punch down as easy as I expected, it almost doesn’t let you do it the first time. Maybe I have to get used to it.

Loved the new design. But after about 200 termination its stops working. Brought one after the first one stopped working but the second one did the same thing. Junk don't buy!!!!!!!!!

Only 5hrs with the tool and the spring already broke this is not efficient, now i gotta find a different brand. I bought a cheap commercial electric version and it worked for 10yrs with no issues figured I would buy a more expensive version but no it was a dud

Junk Love the design this is my second one and it just broke like the first one don't waste the time or money. Stick with what works

I’ve had three of these within the last 6 months. They perform well for the first month or so until the mechanism on the inside (recoil) basically explodes. I love the way it feels in my hand, the long neck for terminating tight closets and the nifty pouch is perfect, but it’s unreliable. Save your money for Harris or Fluke.

Great tool, firm grip

Good looking product and nice pouch but product has failed after two weeks of use! Won’t punch on High impact no more and jams frequently. Really wanted product to work but this is worst Klein buy ever.

I bought this for my technicians and they love it. Very good weight balance and automotic impact
