works well, we use on metal light poles for rewiring. Nice clean hole, less of a mess of using a step drill bit.

The best way to pop grommet holes in metal studs. Beats step drills because it is long enough to keep your chuck out of the stud cavity.

The bit cuts mild steel well. It should be noted that the carbide tips will break if bit binds in cutting surface.....For instance.... if thin sheet metal roll into the tip edge as you penetrate the sheet or if you are not cutting steel plate perfectly perpendicular to the surface of the plate, there is a high risk of breaking off the carbide tips. It is probably best used with a Mag Drill to ensure no binding will occur from an unsteady drill.

It did a great job. It is the third one I have purchased in 3 years, I highly recommend.

Purchased product was returned due to finding my original bit. As old as it is, still working good.

I do not think that it is fair for me to review this item, because I was experimenting with it, and I broke it. I have to install guardrail along the highway at times, and we have to drill it out when the overlapping holes do not line up correctly. This bit was not designed for that.

I left a bag of material in the parking lot that I had purchased and management wasn't even willing to roll the camera back and see if it was perhaps restocked by one of there employee's

The Klein hole cutter exhibits far better capability of cutting holes compared to the typical hole saw. It leaves a clean hole and the unique spring around the pilot bit pushes the slug out when the hole is cut through. The carbide tips make for a longer lasting tool. A great deal for the money.

This product was everything that I expected it to be.

The carbide teeth all came of this bit the first time that I used it.
