Good lock set in the right finish for our new house. Easy to install with all the info to complete installing all the knobs and lock sets

Can't remove knob for installation - you must force screwdriver sideways to tighten but this scratches the knob.

Easy to install an gives you peace of mind of locking bathroom doors for privacy.

The screws are not on the lock side. They are exposed on the outside piece. Terrible design flaw and false advertising.

First thing the quality of product is so so next thing is if you don't have the right tool it's tuff to screw in the door knob with the screws that are given in package they need to include a tool in package in order to screw in the screws for the door knob because if you use a regular Phillips head screw driver the angle is very tuff to screw in the door knob because the knob itself is in the way to screw it in properly.

We always use kwikset door knobs and locks. We can install quickly and re-key as needed.

The unit itself was good but the emergency unlocking system was poor. In order to release the lock, you needed the tool that was included was the unit. Unlike most systems that I am familiar with which simply use any small diameter straight round wire that is pushed into the hole in the center of the outer knob, this requires the special tool sent with the set. The end of this tool is shaped like a fine flat blade screw driver. In order to unlock the door you need to insert this tool into the door knob, locate the slot that the blade of the screw driver fits into and turn it. It took me a while to find out how this works and if you lose the little tool, I'm not sure what you would do even if you knew how the system works. I installed this for a client and had to show him how it worked. Because of the situation where this is located, I may purchase a different brand to avoid a future lock out.
