My wife and I remodeled our entire kitchen from the floor to the ceiling. We putchased all new LG appliances including their smart refeigerator. I poured over hours of video reviews including one done by a fellow dressed in a service man’s uniform from the 1950s. He was particularly adamant that you should not purchase LG refrigerators. Supposedly, the in-door ice maker is the worst idea since the Ford Pnto. Nonsense! It works flawlessly if you keep in mind that it’s meant to supply ice for a few dinks an hour. If you and fifty of you closest friends attempt to lean on it all night, you will run out of ice. Ice spheres are produced three or six at a time over a 12 hour period. The convertable drawer is nothing short of masterful! Freezer or refrigerated drawer…your choice. The ThinQ app is nice for tracking diagnostics and temperatures. All in all, we love this unit as well as all of our other LG appliances. The instaview door is handy, although we don’t use it as much as I thought we would. This is a quality unit built by a trusted Korean company that has been making products for many years prior to hitting our country. We highly recommend this refeigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new refrigerator. So many features and works wonderful. The only issue we've have since . we purchased it 5 months ago was one of the lights burned out in the meat drawer about 2 months ago and we're not sure how to changed it yet.

I bought my refrigerator like a month ago and I love it. Inside compartment is so wide and spacious have plenty of room.

Since I got the The refrigerator at first, it was not making ice So we called LG they sent someone out to fix it and it still didn’t work now the refrigerator stopped working altogether and they’ve been out here about four times trying to fix it and still it’s not working and they said that they will continue just sending somebody out to try and fix it instead of replacing it because there’s obviously something very wrong with it

Bought in March of 2023…..loved it until December….the Ice maker went out….freezer quit….groceries are expensive I had to throw away everything….called place we bought it from had to wait almost 11/2 weeks to get service….they come and not able to fix it…they called LG…..they set up a service call but have to wait another 2weeks….very disappointing that we have to wait a month for this to be fixed…

I bought this refrigerator 7/3/2023 and have only had it six months. Thank God I bought the extended warranty. The freezer no longer freezes and the door ice maker does not work. Awful choice (very expensive and not worth it). The door ice maker does not make ice. The picture is what my ice cream looks like after being in this freezer. I lost all my food. Worst purchase of my life.

Item arrived with a large dent in the door, im currently having a difficult time trying to get help with an exchange, can anyone help me ?

Love the look, holds a lot. Disappointed you can’t fit a bottle of wine without removing a shelf in the refrigerator. The middle drawer is a huge plus for our household. We do store the unopened wine in it. Both ice makers really nice and works well. Water comes out at a nice pace.

I love the features of this fridge but I have not been satisfied. I have gotten two lemons. One replacement and one I have had numerous service appointments. It seems to be working but temperatures are cooler in the home now as well. It is finally holding a steady enough temperature to make some Ice but the ice is slow. Takes 24 hours to make 3 craft ice and the water is not cold in the door. For the price I paid I am disappointed.

We bought this refrigerator to replace a 10 year old appliance that was having issues. After 3 of use so far we are very pleased with the quality, and overall function of this refrigerator. It has a much larger capacity, newer features and a noticeable improvement over the old applicants. Also having the ThinQ app makes it easy review how this appliance is working.

My 7 year old refrigerator died right before a holiday weekend - I literally went to the appliance store and asked what was in stock that could be delivered the quickest. I had just a couple to choose from - but I couldn’t be happier with my decision!

I bought it close to a month ago. We are so happy the best appliance investment we have made in a long time.

Despite some of the reviews I chose this LG because of the features. We have a basement freezer so having a lot of upstairs freezer is not that critical and the full convert drawer is the perfect solution. During the full kitchen remodel we accommodated the extra depth and installed in a manner to look built-in. The door-in-a-door is perfect for grabbing milk and yogurt for mornings without opening the entire fridge. The ice and water through the door is a joy after having to open the door on the last fridge and stand there pushing a button on the cabinet with one hand while holding the glass with the other. It’s beyound me how such an arrangement could get an energy star rating! As far as mechanicals are concerned it’s been installed only 5 months so no comment on that as of yet. LG did show a positive customer approach when the warranty was extended from date of purchase to date of actual install (15 months later) as it was purchased during COVID to ensure its availability. So far everything has worked as designed. Love how the water filter is located in a compartment that doesn’t interfere with the storage capacity. We have RO water to the fridge so will not require changes. The compact in-door ice is certainly adequate for our use and also is very space efficient. The Craft Ice bin could be narrower and reach the front of the slide out drawer but it’s a minor design detail. One of the comments indicated that they wished it was more productive but that can be remedied by switching from 3 to 6. We prefer to have fewer which are very clear with the RO water supply. Think that’s enough. If we do experience premature failures I pity LG!

I do like the versatility of the see through door and the drawer that can convert to 4 different coldness levels from wine to freezer. However I’m on my 3rd craft ice maker, the indoor top ice maker doesn’t produce a lot of ice for more than 1 person that likes all drinks cold. I also wish the shelves were able to move to more than 4 static positions. Craft ice only makes up to 6 pieces per day. It does run efficiently and has a lot of room on both doors for sauces, condiments, cans etc…. Nice room in the freezer and I love the ThinkQ app that allows me to manage and receive alerts for my LG Fridge. It’s been very helpful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator a month ago and we are very pleased with it. It has so much space! We do use the door in door feature frequently. And we love the 4th drawer that can be refrigerated or frozen. The 3 sizes of ice are very convenient! We like the 2 large drawers for fruits, vegetables, as they are very roomy. We do wish there was a third drawer in it though as we also would prefer another drawer for meats or cheeses .

I’m in love with my fridge, a lot space, the lock for the water dispenser it’s kids friendly, the craft eyes makes its the show stopper. Very easy to clean and the filter water I can say better than any retail water.

2 Months and I love it. So far everything is as advertised

Very versatile refrigerator‼️. I love the drawer that can be either a freezer or refrigerator compartment. The door in door feature is also outstanding! I can grab milk or juice without loosing the cold on the inside of the refrigerator. The vegetable and fruit storage work fantastic! I hope to have and use this refrigerator for a long time!

This is our second unit in 3 months, and now our second unit refuses to cool food below the danger zone even when the temp is set to 33 degrees. LG will not take responsibility since the unit is not broken it’s just meant to cool at an unreasonable temperature. Do not go by looks! Stay away from LG. This unit should not be on the market, it is obviously flawed. LG should be ashamed to say they put customers first!

I bought this 3 weeks ago I love the options of ice..

I researched for over a year. While remodeling the entire kitchen I decided to accommodate a 36” wide refrigerator, I came across this LG. It is granted very large, at almost 30 cf, but it’s the flexibility and features that sold me. Having through-the-door ice and water keeps the cold inside! Same goes for the door-in-a-door for items that we access every morning. Then you have the full convert section that can even be a freezer! With a basement 11 cf freezer I love not having to have so much dedicated freezer space upstairs. And then as if that’s not enough you have beautiful craft ice spheres in the lower freezer for special occasions. As long as it performs for a long time count me satisfied. The features and quality certainly justify the price in my world!

Love the new LG refrigerator has everything we needed space and all the features and looks and works great, had a LG refrigerator before this for 12 years it went out so I had no problems going to get another one..
