I say I wouldn't recommend this but I'm likely to buy another because the set-up is ready to go for replacement but the ceramic top cracked a little after a year of use (so its out of warranty) and it's basically a throw away of an expensive cooktop. The crack keeps enlarging from the bottom left burner to the center now. I don't believe a heavy pot cracked it but rather cooking sugar caramel at a high temp. I also think it is incredibly hard to clean. Although you can wipe it down, it takes a lot of force and special cleaning polish to remove daily smudges. I do like the flat surface and modern look and I like the safety shut off features (it seems to know when a pot boils over with water). It heats up fast. I have never used the warmer burner though I initially selected this model for 5 burners (that one is useless). I had to enlarge the hole for cut-out because I thought the instructions were unclear but it basically drops in place. So here I go to purchase yet another one of all things - cause I'm lazy and don't want to mess with another unknown area of self installation and I'm very used to cooking on it now.

This cooktop had all of the features I desired and after using it for about a month I have not been disappointed. Pros: A single sheet of glass to clean, no restrictions on pot size and easy controls. I've had ceramic cooktops for many years and I am used to cleaning them. That said the trim or knobs usually got in the way and made a proper cleanup job take a while, but since this is a single sheet of glass cleanup is a breeze. Most other cooktops or stoves have limitations on ultimate pot size due to raised trim, and while eventually you will run into the controls a 12" pot bottom easily fist on this stove. I was most worried about how the controls would perform. However they have been intuitive and responsive. Cons: I'm reaching for negatives, but the only two things I wish this cooktop had would be a fifth functional burner (not just for warming) and a timer. I was not able to find a similarly sized cooktop with a functional fifth burner, so that is just a failing of this general market segment rather than the cooktop itself. As for the timer I wish the cooktop could either power down or switch over to warm mode after an allotted cook time. Notes on installation: The manual was accurate for cooktop and counter cutout dimensions. I needed to cut out an extra 1/4" into the width of my stone counter top, but after that the cooktop slid right in. The included armored power cable was more than sufficient to reach any where in the double cabinet it is installed in. I did add a fused disconnect junction box, which actually made installation very easy. Notes on images: I uploaded hi res images, but they don't show up well in the review. I was initially also concerned about how well the under glass illumination was, but I have no concerns now. All indicators are clear and distinct. When selecting heat from 1-9, a matching number of indicators are illuminated inside of the corresponding burners control. All indicators are red.

I was really apprehensive about buying a ceramic glass cooktop because of the stories I've heard about keeping it clean. Not only is this cooktop SO easy to clean, it cooks like a dream! The touch pad is awesome. You just touch the element you want to use, then the temperature and it cooks up everything perfectly. It will also keep your food warm for you at just the right temp as you cook other things. It looks fabulous - if you are into looks. I'm into cooking so that was most important to me. And as I stated before keeping it clean was also very important. This one is SO easy. You just put a few drops of the cleaner it comes with - Weismann's - which you can find in Wal-Mart & other stores - on the cooktop, take a paper towel and rub it on, let it set for as long as you like and then buff it off. Food comes off easy and cooktop looks like new. It's great! I would recommend this cooktop to anyone who likes to cook!!!

I really should have not made this purchase. Just 2 days after purchasing, the electric cooktop touch control started to give us trouble. The power on/off area won't respond to my touch, no matter how long you press on it. Just contacted LG repair team will see if the issue can be resolved. So disappointed about the quality of this product.

Easy to clean, love having no knobs and it cooks great.

Likes: the various sizes of the burners, no knobs, child lock. Dislikes: the splattered looking finish Works as well as my last glass top stove.

Have had the cooktop for about a month. Love the ease of use. Cleanup couldn’t be easier. Burners heat so fast. Love the lockout feature

I really wanted to love this cooktop but it does not live up to the quality of even the cheap cooktop I had in the past. I've had this one just a few months. Touch controls-slow to engage. You'll have to stand and hold them at least 3 seconds. The clincher -hubby dropped a bottle of steak sauce onto the top and it cracked-shouldn't have cracked. I have a big paperweight now. Off to find something NOT LG now.

Plug and play. Pretty simple to install. Works and looks great !!

So far its Great. No complaints.we’ve been using it daily for the last couple of months. With the push button feature instead of the knobs, clean up is a breeze. I had to modify my drawers underneath because it hangs down further than our previous model so make sure and check all dimensions before you purchase your cooktop

I use to be a loyal customer but since your appliances are substandard, I have no confidence in your brand. My cook top stopped working and I was placed in an inconvenience for two weeks not being able to cook. I have all my appliances LG but will convert to another brand that has a much better reputation.

The only small problem is that it is sometimes difficult to get turned on. My wife can get it every time but I'm not doing the touch screen right I guess.

Just used a couple of weeks but so far it works great.

Ordered on October 16, 2023, received December 16, had to wait after the holidays to have cooktop opening enlarged a quarter of an inch and installed January 5, 2024. It was so frustrating dealing with all the different delivery dates. It has been 5 days since installed and I am loving it!

I placed my order on 11/13, received a text on 12/15 that my order was delayed for 12/27. I spent 3 days trying to get an answer from LG and home depot and nobody was able to tell me where my order was. After speaking with a supervisor she said that the only option i had was to cancel because LG had a backup system on orders so they didn’t have any appliances available. why sale them on store?Home depot did the same. No body has been able to provide a solution or accept responsibility

Super bad customer service Home Depot is selling this and when you order it, they change you delivery day and you call LG and they said they don’t have the product in the United State and nobody have a solution.

I would not recommend this cook top. It's a "pain" to turn it on, it turns itself off, the glass is this, I've had it for 10 months, it did not meet my LG appliance expectations

A couple of issues we have noticed is when boiling on power boil it took an hour to bring one gallon of water to a boil (not to good). The second issue is that sometimes one of the burners turns itself off?
