I purchased an electric range in October and 2 weeks ago I noticed that the finish on the cooktop is wearing away. I called LG, they said it’s cosmetic and therefore it’s not covered. They said I must’ve spilled something on it. The rep was nasty and did not offer any kind of a solution!

The glass scratches very easily. Got it for one day, fried an egg and the heat somehow scratched the glass like it was used for years. Got the oven clean product recommended by the telephone help desk at LG and it made it worst. Phoned them a second time and they said it is not under warranty for it is cosmetic damage and recommended us to pay $300 cdn to get a technician out to fix it. Told them it was only one day old and none of our friends have this kind of issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stove looks great, burners heat up pretty fast, as does the oven. The only negative is the black glass top. It seems to scratch easily, though it may not be a scratch but may be burned on dirt which does not come off with a razor blade or cooktop cleaner. This stove replaces one which has the Ceran glass and it did not have any of the trouble I am having now. LG if you have suggestions I am listening, let me know.

Everything is great so far except how easily the cooktop gets scratched or marked up !! I have had this for 2 weeks - I have not spilled anything , boiled over etc. I cleaned with cooktop cleaner prior to cooking and followed manual instructions , but there are visible marks . The cooktop has crosshatching pattern on the black ceramic top which can get marked up very easily . Beware of this problem if you like a clean looking cooktop !!! I am very dissatisfied with the cooktop , but enjoy everything else about the product so far .

The range was supposed to be leveled and anti-tip bracket installed. The range was not leveled and there was no bracket delivered with the range. The delivery staff made a mess with grease tracked all over my tile floor. When I contacted Home Depot they said they would schedule a team but it would be a week unless I wished to level it myself. I asked and was assured that my leveling would not affect the warranty. They will not level or place bracket now. Do not purchase from Home Depot

We never had a Range that performed like this one . The easy clean system works so good & is not really time consuming . The finish of the inside of the Range so amazing . We would highly recommend the range to anyone !

Great stove, heats up fast and even. Stovetop is easy to clean. The oven is made to be easy to clean as well. The one thing I am disappointed in is the bottom drawer is small and I can't store my pan lids there like I could with my ancient stove. Otherwise top notch.

This stove is such a piece of junk! Do not buy! Very poor quality stainless steel used. The oven drawer is like a piece of aluminum foil and does not open or close squarely. . Pieces keep falling off the sides The high/low heating numbers are unprinted on the stove panel behind the knobs. Don’t even try to clean spills and splashes with a damp towel because every number has disappeared! Several calls to LG and they finally give me an appliance company to call telling me I’ll have to pay for them to repair because this is cosmetic! FYI I purchased an extended warranty on this all this happened within a few months if delivery! JUNK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this almost a month ago and so far I am satisfied with my purchase especially the PureHeat feature which heats at a super fast speed. It matches my other LG appliances. The only negative is the lack of that one perfect-sized burner which is there only as a warmer.

I do not recommend this . The blue porcelain interior will fail after several cleanings. Mine a little under 3 years in porcelain chipped and fine pieces in food.

Timing mechanism modestly difficult, grilltop excellent, oven very quick to reach temp, bottom compartment a tad flimsy, easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the stove and oven. The heating elements work well. The stove top seal around the edge is peeling off even though I have only used a plastic scraper to clean the stove top. I am unsure what to do about this.

Decided to go with the LG products after being a longtime purchaser of another brand. The range was delivered yesterday so haven’t used it yet, but love how well it coordinates with the other new appliances. Also love the bright blue on the inside of oven….makes me smile!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this stove for Two weeks after installation, I find that it works fantastic. It had a clean look and performs well. The ease of the controls and settings makes it much easier to cook with this oven over my previous oven. I love the warmer burner and WiFi capability. The stainless steel and black combination looks great and is easy to clean. This is an impressive stove.

We still had our original oven from when the house was built quite a few years ago. It still worked, but it was times to upgrade to something a bit more modern. The stainless steel finish is nice and clean, and the cooktop has a sleek finish. The addition of Wi-Fi is pretty cool as we can now view a status of the oven and stovetop, and remotely turn on or off the oven. This will be nice when we want to pre-heat the oven on our way home. The addition of a warming pad is something we didn’t have before, and is a fantastic feature to have. Everything works well and we’re happy with it so far. It’s made a great addition to our kitchen!

I bought this because our other stove/oven finally gave out, and I didn't want to put the money into it to fix it. I was shopping extensively online when I came across the LG single oven range, so this helped make the buying decision easier. The stovetop is nice, and so far I have not had any issues with preheating and getting the pots and pans up to heat. Both the stove and oven are easy to use, but admittedly, I have not used the WiFi function yet. I highly recommend taking a serious look at LG products when appliance shopping, as there is a lot of value for the money.

I Highly Recommend this great LG Electric single Oven Range. It is magnificent. Offers Easy Clean, WI FI capability and is a huge 6.3 cubic feet oven in a gorgeous 30 inch stove. It has instant cooking capabilities on the top of the range and even offers a great warming element. I can control the oven remotely, no problem. The inside of the oven is lighted and a beautiful cobalt blue in color. Easy to read control panel. Large capacity drawer on the bottom. Talk about style! LG is a trusted name in electronics and this beautiful Stainless Steel Silver stove proves it. Now I can cook a large meal with no worries. So easy to install. Absolutely no disappointments with this LG stove. Came with complete manual, cord and everything I need to " Get Cookin".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this in Sept., was delivered in Oct. Haven’t really mastered the convection piece. The push buttons get sticky and require multiple pushes to change oven temp. The numbers by the dials are wiping off. The edging around the top is uneven and catches food and other particles.

I bought the earlier model to this with the same blue inside oven. Had it for 4 years with minimum oven use. yesterday I noticed pitting (small holes) on the oven floor pan. I called LG and they simply said they couldn’t help and just gave me a repair number to call. This seems to be a defected product. Most ovens last much longer than mine. The inside looks to be one piece so a repair probably will cost the same as a new one. Be nice if LG offered some assistance since it’s a design flaw. I even sent them the pictures of the pitting.

This is a nice range with Wifi capabilities. It does have a lot of nice features for a range in this price range. The burners with the different size heating elements are nice and allow you to use a small or large skillet or pot on the front burners. The rapid boil feature is helpful for different situations. I actually spilled a little chicken pot pie and tried the 10 minute clean. It worked very well with just a wipe to clean it up afterwards. The blue interior is different and pretty cool. The large oven will allow me to cook multiple dishes at the same time or one huge turkey. The storage drawer in the bottom of the range is large enough to hold several pieces of bake ware, although, it was a little difficult to slide in and out. My husband put some lubrication on the rails to make it slide easier. I am not sure how this statement on the website “Stop reaching over hot pans to adjust your cooktop elements. Sleek, angled controls put power and visibility at your fingertips while bringing an updated, stylish look to your kitchen” is really correct, as you still need to reach over the pan to adjust the Cooktop elements. They are on the backboard of the stove. ??? Again, this is nothing to take away from the range as a negative; I am just not sure why that statement is there. We have reheated pizza in it and it warmed it thoroughly. The oven heated to 350 in less than 8 minutes, but with the WiFi, I can turn it on even before I get home if needed. Of course, I have to mention that I like ranges with the oven handle like this, as most women know, it makes a great place to dry a dishtowel. I really like this range.

The glass cook top was the biggest change that stood out the most. So much nicer and easier to clean.

The range is great except one front burner element is not working properly. The temperature is always on high and cannot be adjusted. I called LG for warranty support and after an hour on the phone with an agent is was decided I needed a technician. They will get back to me in 3 to 5 business days with a date I can expect service. THIS IS A NEW RANGE. That is bordering on totally unacceptable.

This is a terrific oven with easy to use knobs and dash panel. We also like the automatic light inside the oven
