Well this window unit with a/c and heat did not last long at all. I tried to get it replaced and that didn’t happen. It ran for 2 months. I will think twice before I buy LG AGAIN!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The energy saver mode keeps it running fairly quietly. Low cool at 73 keeps the living room and foyer comfortable. Looks like monthly reminder appears to clean filter. Not sure, but front opens at bottom and machine wedged against metal bar guard?

I bought this unit to keep team members safe during the heat that Texas always delivers during the summer. This unit was enjoyed by hundreds of our team members to help from experiencing heat exhaustion and it worked great. I ended up buying another unit recently of the same brand but a little bigger and this one is just as reliable as the last. Than k you LG for helping me keep my folks safe!

I bought this one about a year ago to cool my insulated garage, never blew very cold at all. I wanted to take it out and return it which I should but was a pain. It lasted about year and a half, not it makes loud clanking noise and doesn't cool at all. I typically lean towards LG products but this will probably influence my next purchase.

THIS MODEL IS A PIECE OF CRAP! DON'T BUY IT. IT CRAPPED OUT AFTER 11 MOS. 20 DAYS. LG SAID THEY'D FIX, REPLACE OR REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE. BUT NOW THEY AREN'T DOING A THING BUT GIVING US THE RUN AROUND. WE'VE BEEN GOING AROUND IN CIRCLES WITH LG FOR OVER A MONTH.

Buyers beware, this AC doesn’t last even a year. I bought 10 for our multifamily and within a year I have 3 failed and 2 more reporting trouble.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit for a bedroom over my garage. It moves a lot of air and keeps the room warm or cool when need. However, it has an annoying rattle that appears to come from the vent. I have tried to quiet it by stuffing small pieces of cardboard between the gaps. That seems to work a little bit for a little while. I'm still working on placement of other makeshift wedges to stop the rattle. Also, it cycles on and off very frequently on the energy saver and heat modes. Since this is a bedroom, the two above complaints can make sleeping a challenge. One other issue I had was the manual is not the best. It was difficult to follow the directions for installation and the pictures were small and hard to see the detail. I would have given a higher rating if it were not for the noise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit works well. I did have a problem with the alluvial fan inside. 3 of the 5 blades were broken before we installed it. The box and cover for the unit were undamaged but the fan already was. With LG customer service, the process of contacting a repairman and getting the repair made was exceptional. That was the only problem and it was resolved both quickly and professionally.

This unit, like the one before it, works just as it was described. A simple cleaning of the filter and unit maintains it working. It easily changes from AC to Heat and in our Texas weather, that is pretty often. It makes the transition without hesitation and it very sufficiently cools/ heats a garage that was converted onto a man cave.

Purchased November 19 2020, used it twice quit working third time I ran it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this because our old unit was over 30yrs old and the heater went out in it. This new unit is a blessing with the cold weather coming, I have a small house and it keeps my house very warm.

After 15 months, the unit stopped working. The a/c and heater doesn’t work, might be fan related. Very unhappy with this LG product.

No heat the warm tperature is very minimum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this unit for a 16x30 unfinished cabin that I’m living in while working on it. I have insulation on all the walls but ceiling is unfinished. I’m on a prepay account right now and this unit has cut my bill in half and is very efficient in keeping it cool even in the Texas heat!! I’m now using the heater which keeps it nice and toasty but the usage is quite high and doubled my bill. Not bad until it gets down Below 40 degrees. There is a slight rattle from the fan not super loud but in a small area might bother some light sleepers it doesn’t bother me. Great unit for the price have used all the modes fan speeds and timer all work perfectly. Would purchase again.
