I have no difficulty washing sheets, towels, and other large loads. Our clothes come out clean. I especially love the selection of settings--handwash!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We now have had this washer for several months, and love it. Great companion to the dual inverter heat pump ventless dryer. Great capacity of its size. Looks great. Performs as advertised. We are very happy with it. The washer (and dryer stacked) are in a small bathroom. We are very happy with both.

This washer vibrates extremely badly. Yes, the shipping bolts are out. Yes, we had an authorized repairman visit and he pretty much verified there is nothing particularly wrong...this is just the way these washers are. I have to spin everything on low cycle and the vibration is still very bad and it ups the drying cycle. Never again for a front load or an LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this washer because it was smaller, allowing me to reach all the way to the back. And the compact size fits better in our small laundry room.

I've had this washer for almost 6 weeks now. I bought it instead of the Samsung that had higher internet ratings. I liked the look of this one better, it seemed more solid and I liked the 'handwash' setting and the firm way the door shut. My roommate told me he had bought a different model large LG washer for his other place and was very pleased with it. So I was initially thrilled to install this washer. We leveled it carefully and read the manual. The only thing is, the clothes don't smell that clean when they come out. And if you get them the slightest bit damp or sweaty, they really need washing. It took me a few weeks to clue into this. I think my clothes were previously cleaner, having been washed in a Whirlpool washer that came with the apartment and finally broke down. I've tried this washer on many different settings, have raised the soil level to 'heavy', have used the 'heavy duty' setting, have added extra detergent for the 'prewash' setting. I am also careful not to overload it. I'm using the same HE detergent that worked well with my last washer. The clothes are just not that clean! Since this is the only function of the washer, it's very disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the washer installed in my condo last month and I haven’t stopped using it. There is a cycle for everything you want to wash. Stains are removed and the washer load comes out smelling fresh. LG makes a great washer!

I live alone and have occasional visitors, am not doing a lot of laundry, but do keep myself clean. disappointed and faced with a mess and a problem. i liked it before that

washer was installed by a HD installer who refused to run a test cycle after installation; he actually stated: "i don't do wash my wife does" and then left. The washer started shaking violently after the third use (1 week after purchase). Called HD and they said once an appliance is installed their involvement ends and told us to call LG for possible repair/replacement. So HD advertises, sells an appliance and collects the money but if it's defective they don't stand by the product they sell, they run for the hills. HD is there for the good times but not for the bad times. Honestly, i didn't know HD worked like that; i thought HD would stand by a product they advertise and sell; it was a lesson learned;i will make sure to purchase my next appliance elsewhere.

Not sure why but this LG washer shakes and vibrates like crazy, I think it’s a manufacturer defect. It took a lot of hoops to get my 1st one replaced by LG, but this replacement still vibrates, just not nearly as bad as the 1st one. Home Depot has been amazing during this mess, but LG not so much!

The machine probably need service, it is somewhat noisy disappointed re the noise it makes.

I love this washer. Small but mighty. Very quiet, very easy to use.

So far, I am really liking this washer. I wish it had just a little bigger capacity though because I don't think my comforter is going to fit but otherwise, it's perfect for us. Pros: Better energy usage, fits in my laundry room, super user friendly, quiet on all settings but spin cycle Cons: Really loud on spin cycle without weight (or dryer) on top so I recommend getting them stacked by the installers, assuming the installers do it correctly. Mine did not. Also, I'm too tall for the height of the door opening so I'm going to get the pedestal to raise it. Personal preference but definitely something to keep in mind.

The washing part is fine. My clothes come out clean. But -- At the end, when it spins fast, the machine vibrates so much that lightweight objects fall off onto the floor. I used a level to find that the top of the machine is very level. Something about the way it sits on the floor must be creating the vibration. And in general -- too many choices!

I got this washer because i needed a ventless dryer for my apartment and i got the corresponding dryer. it's a great washer for a single person or maybe two people. If i had a whole family, it would probably be too small but for just me in a small space it's really wonderful.

Great size for our family of 4. It is compact but still fits a good-sized load of laundry. What else can I say? It’s a washing machine that hasn’t failed in the first month of ownership. I’m curious about durability over the long haul.
