If I could provide zero I would. My recommendation to all is be warned and go somewhere else to buy appliances Home Depot is horrible to work with. I paid $1900 for a stackable W/D and a warranty on top of that which does not cover the outside of the unit because I left it in the box for 3 days while we finished painting our remodeled room. They would not provide me an exchange when we got it out of the box and found significant damage to the exterior claiming I had 48 hour to notify them. I was never verbally informed of this clause upon purchase or delivery they claim it came in a email well forgive me I don’t sit in my in box waiting for Home Depot emails. When I asked the store manager to assist he pushed me off like it was ? my problem and too bad! LG is no better they keep telling me to call Home Depot! They are both selling damaged products and hoping that people fall victim like me to not see some fine print! Beware scam artist in action and nice way to get damaged products out your door for full price! You should be ashamed of yourselves I worked hard and saved to purchase something new from what I thought at the time was a reputable company.

Beware! We have loved this washer/dryer combo. But after 11-2 yrs- the wash machine just stopped. The dryer still works. But- now we have to replace. Soooo disappointed. Don’t purchase. Many who have had this product over a year-2 yrs are experiencing the same problems.

I LOVE this washtower (received 2/12/24 & definitely meets my expectations) - the side-by-side units are large, but this washtower machine capacities are full size, but compact for my very limited utility room space & ThinQ app for remote control / monitoring. Main “issue” is relatively limited display wash / dry options (e.g., the most common) - more options available by download with the downloaded option selectable via the “downloaded” button on unit. Very nice being able to get wash/dry status on my iPhone (e.g., when dry cycle is done, clothes don’t need to sit & get wrinkled.)

I wish I could comment on the unit but I have yet to receive it. The first two deliveries involved severely damaged. Now it’s allegedly back ordered and we have to wait 3 weeks for the replacement. Customer service and LG are super avoidant - do not return calls, and allude to some acknowledgement after delivery but refuse to explain what they mean by this. I’m now without a laundry option for over a month.

Perfect size for tight spaces, looks terrific and works well.

We’re in love with our new LG Washtower. The color is amazing and it fits perfectly in the small space we have for our washer/dryer. **Important: when we first started using it there was an EXTREMELY loud squeaking noise when the wash tub would spin. We found out that there is a piece of styrofoam under the washtub to protect it during shipping. It was not removed prior to installing so the tub was rubbing against it, making the awful squeaking noise. Once it was removed, no more squeaking!

We have about a week with this unit. So far it has been delightful to use. We have done about 5 cycles and we are thrilled about how quite it is. We used the Turbo steamer cycle on the dryer and the clothes were dry in 8 minutes. The controls are conveniently placeced and the amount of space we saved its considerable vast compare to the convetional units.100% recomended.

We purchased this stackable unit from Home Depot and it was received damaged. We also scheduled for this to be installed which the delivery team did not do and we had to purchase the items to install ourselves. At purchase we clarified we wanted our old units removed as well and the delivery team told us this charge was $50 per appliance not $50 for both as we were told at purchase. This is the second delivery issue with quality with this company. We also purchased patio furniture last year which was delivered without hardware to assemble leaving us to purchase it ourselves or wait weeks for delivery. The options gifen were conpensate for damage if return and wait for next delivery. We opted to be compensated but pretty disappointed in the offered amount and that this was not just a one off instance with Home Depot. I work in logistics so I understand this happens but this experience will certainly deter me from future purchases coming soon with a recent kitcheb remodal. Disappointed to say the least and will look into competitors for future

Dryer's great but wish it had shorter high run time option. WA doesn't clean even after 2 runs. What good's a watersaver ran twice? Softener won’t even rinse out. Squirts water as clothes tumble, no soaking. Some stay dry long. Photo shows dry pillowcase after 15 min. LG's advice no help. Repairman...it’s how washers are now...they don’t soak. I designed my washroom around it so it's a showpiece now. Done with it. Back to my Whirlpool. Ain’t pretty but it cleans & we won’t smell like wet dogs.

I LOVE our new LG Wash Tower!! Such a great space saver AND the quality & silence is amazing! But that wasn’t the case with the first load. We didn’t have it installed by the company; my husband installed it for us. But remember, if you are getting those LOUD vibrating noises after delivery, please remember to check for the shipping bolts & remove them. Also check under the unit for the foam block & remove it too. It’s not something you know about unless you read the manual. Love my tower!

Last weekend the drum of the washing machine exploded from the side of the machine and into our water heater. The force of the drum hitting our water heater pushed it through the adjacent wall. I believe the water heater blocked the momentum of the drum from fully exiting the machine and going through the wall. There was plastic and metal shrapnel around the room. LG has not expressed any desire to investigate our unit to determine the cause of the explosion. Please consider another brand

We purchased this w/d laundry center in January, 2021. We have had absolutely no problems with it. It is still super quiet and does a great job washing and drying clothes. Easy to use controls. No wonder Consumer Reports rates LG high in quality and reliability.

The bottom side of the fins in the washer became sharpened after some use and the sharpness of the fins made the clothes to Rbecome roughened up. The dryer had the steam sprayer sharp, which gave running thread in the knitted clothes. I have attached some pictures as an exemple. The exemples attached are from clothes a lot newer than other clothes that I have, but the old clothes do not have such damage because I have not washed them in these appliances. up

Bought this set in store as a sale. At first I was a little hesitant because of all the new bells and whistles. I was replacing a 15 year set. The installation was a breeze. We paid to get it installed. It took then about 20 min from start to finish. I’ve had it for a few weeks now. Have washed and dried several time now. Don’t know why I was trying to hold on to my old set. But very happy I got these.

The dryer burned a hole in my shirt during the first load of laundry

Paint is corroding and developing rust around the detergent dispenser. Was told by LG that bleach is corrosive to the paint but the damage is centered around the detergent part so it seems the paint cannot stand up to basic detergent. Was told by LG to clean the spots then touch up with paint, but some of the rusty parts are blocked by a plastic piece so surely the rust will continue to grow. A washer should not be damaged by contact with detergent or bleach. This is a major design flaw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been operating this about a month now. The Wi-Fi features seemed excessive at first. Now the notifications and ability to communicate with the machine while away are very useful and save time.

I would recommend this set if ur look’n for something long term, I looked at some top loaders that are less expensive but they’re obviously disposable, these units are built solid, good features and quite. The 4.5 Cu Ft washer can easily handle 4 pairs of jeans, 4 bath towels and some miscellaneous items in one load or a king size comforter by itself and the dryer is even larger. I like all the options with the setting, it covers just about every situation. The best feature for me is the steam cleaner in the dryer, I work in a professional environment and it’s nice to be able to quickly refresh my outfit in between washings.

Excellent washer/dryer unit, easy to use, great laundry setting options, controls are on center of unit which makes it great access for operations, I absolutely love my new washer/dryer unit. ?

This machine was working great no problems. 18 months and 5 days it blew up. The washer exploded put a hole in my wall and shot plastic and water everywhere. I called LG to let them know and was told I should have purchased the extended warranty.

We bought our LG wash tower when we started our remodel in the fall of 2022 and just got it installed in May of 2023, so we have been waiting a while to put it through it's paces. We like it a lot and it washes and dries as well as we had imagined it would. Looks great, performs great. We will see how it does in the long run and how LG responds if there are any problems. Would recommend this product at this point.

This LG WashTower replaces my LG side by side set. I've moved to a smaller living space, and the stacked set is perfect for a laundry closet. This was the only set I really looked at because of the thoughtful placement of the controls in the middle of the unit. I am short and could not reach the controls on other brands. And having already had LG appliances, I knew this unit was a good value for the money.

This washer/dryer tower is both efficient and easy to use. I could operate the washer and dryer easily after only reading the manual once. There is a large capacity in both the washer and dryer. I like that the washer pre-weighs each load to determine the exact amount of time needed for each load. I can also choose how long I need for each dryer load with a "time dry" feature that makes for an adjustable run time. I also like the front load design and the pull out detergent/ softener trays. The candy apple red color is absolutely dazzling!! Lastly, my favorite feature is that the machine plays a nifty tune each time that it's turned on and off and when each load is finished and interior drum lights in both the washer and dryer.

This worked great for two years and then the washer got a DE1 error. Called the help desk and they were unable to resolve the issue. Unfortunately the unit was outside of warranty so we were on our own. Called one, two, three different repair men who all came to the house and two of them replaced the circuit board and door lock. NADA. Now I am left with a dryer with a $900 pedestal.

Great on saving space and being accessible. Had the units installed for awhile now. The dryer collects crap on the door seal constantly. Brushing it off usually knocks the rubber door stopper off. Just waiting on the day that someome doesnt notice and its lost. The washing machine does its job quietly and efficiently. The LG smart app absolutely sucks. Items dont show up after registering. Constantly fighting wirh it to get it to work. I have 2 LG OLED Tvs and the wash tower connnected and issues with all them and the app interfacing. If it wasnt for rhose things it would get a 5 star rating. Also my dryer drum isnt fully stainless as advertised. That was a disappointment.

Pros: Compact Cons: Very few run cycles Clothes come out a little wrinkled There is lint/dirt collecting on the dryer door just outside of the lint collecting bin.

Needed to stack units to fit into the narrow laundry closet. I considered stacking a dryer unit on top of a separate washer unit. This was not an option as my wife is on the shorter side and would not be able to reach the controls. After extensive research, I discovered this model from LG. This unit hits all my requirements. Love the color options available. We've only used it a few times. Does what it's supposed to. We have yet to use all the features. More to come on those.

Can't wait to wash and dry laundry. This set up of washer and dryer really works great once you learn all the features.
