Customer Reviews for LG 6.3 cu. ft. Slide-In Electric Range with ProBake Convection Oven and EasyClean in Stainless Steel

We've had this range since January 2021. It's definitely nice to look at however, we find it EXTREMELY hard to see the settings on the knobs (Hi, Low, 1, 2, 3 etc) the font color is just barely lighter than the knob color. Our biggest concern is the ease in which the knobs turn on. We've walked by and found the cooktop on after our dog has bumped his head on them. We've also accidentally turned them on when reaching above or walking by and unfortunately when putting groceries away one was bumped and we didn't notice it was on until we could smell the bag burning on the stove. This is a huge safety concern if you have young children (which we don't).

I bought this oven just over 2 months ago and I am super happy with my decision! Reading through the reviews, I was worried about the cooktop which, according to previous reviews I had read, scratches easily. The first day I got it, I accidentally set my cooking pot on it too hard and sure enough, there was a white coloured scratch. However, along with the oven they provide a sample of 'Cerama Bryte Cooktop Cleaner', along with one of those green scrubby pads, and after a few applications of the cleaner, the scratch dissapeared. Additionally, I only add the cleaner about once a week, and full application requires only a few minutes, plus it keeps the cooktop looking good as new! The burners are perfect as well. They represent what you would guess and are not too hot or cold. Plus, the fast burner works super well to boil water! The oven itself has multiple settings which work really well! There is a pizza setting which cooks pizza to crispy perfection, as well as a convection roast setting that you can use for vegges or meat, and it does a great job on both. Overall, I am very pleased with this oven. It is worth paying the extra money to upgrade from a basic oven, to this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with the look of my new stove. It works well, but my only issue is it's hard to see the perimeter for the pots and pans on the cooktop. I may get used to it, but unless it's turned on it's difficult to find the spot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven is beautiful and cooks everything well and fast! The one thing I have run into that drives both my husband and myself crazy is that you have to hit start after you set the timer or the baking degrees, otherwise it does not take the setting and shuts off... A little annoying, especially with the timer. If you set it and walk away without hitting start, the timer doesn't start and you don't know how long it's been in.

I bought this last month absolutely love the look of it in my kitchen and love the way it cooks hand bakes.

Also have found the stove will at times turn on a burner when reaching for something in the cupboards above the stove and we brush the control. Oven was off about 50 degrees but easily adjusted.

I have had my stove for 6 weeks now and I’m not sure how I really feel about it. I just loved my GE stove and I replaced it with this LG. I guess I’ll get it a chance.

Looks very nice. Takes a bit for the burners to heat up but other than that so far so good.
