Well made, Very durable and easy to install unit. Heavy duty brass fittings on reel & extension hose.

Solid, well constructed hose reel. Arm was bent when I received it but I didn't notice it until I attached the handle. At that point the nut that holds the handle to the arm would hit the frame which would not allow the reel to unwind. Easy fix to bend the arm out about 1" and now it works just fine. This replaces the plastic boxes that I have been replacing every couple of years and I expect this to last much much longer. This reel does need to be firmly attached to something and since I don't like bolting anything to the house I used scrap pier blocks and pressure treated wood to build a heavy base as you can see in the pictures. I have a heavy-duty 100' hose on it now and it easily reels it up even when its fully stretched out. Best hose reel I have bought so far (over 20+ years I have tried them all). The best part is all of the pieces are heavy gauge metal and the fittings are heavy-duty brass. The only plastic is the handle but that is designed to spin loosely around the metal core which is bolted to the arm. Feels strong and is comfortable to use. I will be buying another one for the front yard. I would have given this reel 5 stars if the arm wasn't bent.

Met overall expectations. Perfect for my application. Needed a hose reel for the bed of my truck that fit under my bed rails and it does the job great.

This hose reel is durable and made very well compared to the cheaper plastic ones. I would definitely recommend this product if you're looking for a strong versatile hose reel.

Liberty garden hose reel requires several UPGRADES to be functional. Tee fitting requires additional hardware (2.5” long 1/2” galvanized nipple, 1/2 galvanized 90 elbow and a short spring protected hose to keep from crimping hose. 2.Supply line needs to be secured from spinning /twisting when unreel

East to set up.

Leaks some from a spot that can’t be adjusted, but since it’s a feeder line for my buffer tank on my pressure washing rig it doesn’t matter, that being said anyone who purchases this product needs to use the good blue tape one all threads and pressure test it as soon as you get it home.

Good and sturdy, much better than plastic models. Leaks a little but not a major flaw. I have 125’ of 5/8”hose and it almost fills it up.

If connected and used right out of the box, it will wet your pants. Be prepared to modify.

Doesn’t reel in very well as gets kinked at the attachment site. was promised a better price and did not receive that either.

This was exactly what we wanted, an attractive, minimal reel to contain our garden house. We love the powder coated, all-metal construction much more than one of the plastic reel options out there.

Very disappointing product. All the plumbing/pipe connections in the chassis leak. I'm not talking about the threaded hose connections but rather the main water line through the axle of the reel. Leaks like a sieve. It looks sturdy and well-built but is not. At this price I would look for a different hose reel and not recommend this one.

This one is my second one! Tha first one in in my back yard and I was so impressed with how easy it works that I got this one to add to the side of my home for use in the front yard.

Seems pretty heavy duty. Should last awhile.

Leaks like a sieve at the junction between the reel and the silver T-joint. Will need to dismantle and see if it can be repaired. Overall I like the product; just wish it didn’t leak so much (we are talking a stream not a drip, drip, drip).

It would have been better if I didn't have to take all the fittings apart and add plumbers tape to ALL the threads. The device is more suited to a 5/8" hose so DON'T buy if using a 3/4" hose.

The reel is sturdy and offers options for placement which is a clear advantage. Set up was simple and quick. As far as durability, that remains to be seen. Only time will tell.

Hose reel is well made and mounted solidly to our masonry house.
