The boxes provided exactly what I needed to make a wiring junction and extend the electrical circuit to an undercabinet light. The shallow profile fit nicely under the cabinet.

Great for home entertainment system
I used this as a junction box for my speaker cables. I used a monoprice 8 terminal plate and a wiremold cord management kit. It worked great with the plate but the wiremold kit didn't really fit that well.
This is all metal and very sturdy. I didn't paint it as it would be out of sight anyway.

I had to update some surface mount devices. I cannot believe a light switch box costs $8.
Too expensive, but quality is fine

Sturdy and solid. Very easy to install. Low profile helps to blend in better. A very good niy for the price. Used it to connect an extension cord to track lighting for a rental apartment. Worked perfectly! Added a smart plug and now have lights I can take with me anytime I move.
