i like this style outlet the regular duplex ones are ok but the décor ones gives off a great look especially matched with the wall plate. it’s mostly simple and takes only around 20 minutes to install correctly

I love having the usb ports on the outlets.

Always rely on Leviton outlets when I need to replace one. Reliable and easy to install and the tamper resistant ones meet the new codes.

I replaced standard outlets that had faded plastic and I got these and they are very easy to install and are safe for children.

This Outlet works great and looks a lot nicer than the older style. It fit into my electrical box well. It took about 10 to 15 minutes to install.

Made the mistake of buying the ten pack only to realize the “Leviton” brand is stamped on the front of every outlet. Very tacky. Single outlet does not have the brand stamp ... yet ... but costs more per unit.

Recieved the item open and taped inside the packaging box. Called customer service and they said they cant do anything

I installed the Leviton Decora 15 amp outlet in a basement bathroom that was on a GFCI-protected cicuit. Installation was simple. There are two features that I particularly like. One is the TR feature, which keeps little fingers safe. The second is the snap-on cover plate. After installing the outlet, you screw on the base plate, and then the cover plate snaps over it, hiding any screws. It makes for a very clean look.

I received the Leviton Decora 15 Amp TR outlet and installed it in a basement bathroom. It is a nice looking outlet. I like the tamper resistant feature, which keeps little fingers from putting any objects in. It was a lot smoother to insert a plug than in TR outlets I have installed in my cottage addition., which I felt were more resistant than they needed to be. Another nice feature is the snap on wall plate, which covers the mounting screws. It's easy to snap on and off. This provides a very nice, clean look, as you can see in the photo.

This 15A outlet works as expected. I have always used LEVITON products for my home updates. No issues with quality and batch to batch color matching, as well as color matching between product lines. I did have an issue with shipping in a soft envelope which allowed product box to be crushed, but it did not effect product. Packaging blemishes on the shelf will affect marketing appeal.

Leviton Decora 15 Amp Tamper Resistant Duplex Outlet, Light Gray: I chose this product because I needed to change out an old electrical wall outlet. I was looking for something new that had more secure features. I came across this product, and liked what I saw. The Duplex Outlet came with a Light Gray Screwless Faceplate. As you will see in the photo I shared, there is no center screw showing, like the older Outlet and Faceplates have. The Screwless Faceplate, gives it a more Modern Design look, as well as a making this model Tamper Resistant.

This duplex outlet is great! I love how the screws are covered by the cover and especially the tamper resistant feature. It fit with my light grey walls and it's almost unnoticeable. I will be buying more of this unit to complete my room and enhance the look of my walls. It was easy for my electrician to install for me and he also thought it was a very nice outlet.

This outlet gives you peace of mind in the kids bathroom, The hot and the neutral hole have a cover over them so the kids can not poke anything in the socket and get shocked, both the hot and neutral have to be plugged into at the same time or the insulator will not move out of the way. All the parts come in the box and the instructions are printed in the box. It was just a matter of unscrewing the old plug and replacing it with the new one. Very quick change out and the new cover plate has no visible screws, very smooth looking.

A nice modern look and easy to install

Electrical outlets. Are they all the same? What can I say about an electric outlet I have not yet installed. It looks good. Looks like it is rugged. It is an electric outlet, the box was slightly damaged but the outlet itself was unharmed. It looks like your basic outlet install. Personally, I am going to wait for an electrian to install it. I am a dyi er, but I like to think I know my limits.

This outlet is easy to install and I like the tamper resistant feature. The light gray color is in style and on trend right now. This outlet features both push-lock type terminals as well as screw-down clamp type terminals. Make sure that you use the right type trim plate with this outlet as it uses the large single cutout plate. I used a screwless version that looks great. This outlet is made in America as well. I will be purchasing more to replace the rest of the outlets in this bedroom.

LEVITON DECORA 15 AMP TAMPER RESISTANT DUPLEX OUTLET LIGHT GRAY, BLACK - I have been replacing my old outlets and switches with the Leviton Decora line and find them easy to change out and are of high quality. It was my error for not reading this description correctly and believing I was getting a BLACK outlet when in fact I got a GRAY outlet and cover. While I can't install this where I was planning I will put it to use at a later date in another location to be determined.

Ok folks, time to upgrade your outlets. This 15A-125V 'decora' outlet by Leviton, will truly enhance your home's appearance. I have it in light gray, and with the matching screwless wall plate, gives my wall a really nice clean line. It is tamper-resistant, with a built-in shutter to prevent little kiddies from inserting foreign objects. Installation is a breeze.

The Leviton tamper-resistant outlet has some good and bad features. The tamper-resistant feature is nice and may be required for new installations. There was little resistance when inserting a plug in the receptacle. Both good and bad because something, like a paper clip, might still go in easily. Some receptacles have too much resistance making it hard to insert a plug but also safer with small objects. The receptacle is rated 15 amps and the back indicates that both 14-gage and 12-gage wire can be used. !4-gage wire can be inserted into the quick connect hole in the back, but 12-gage will not fit in the small hole. 12-gage wire must be installed under the screws only. The screw connection port has a notch on each side to hold the wire from turning while tightening the screw on the wire, a nice feature. The 14-gage wire inserted in the quick connect hole can be removed with a small screwdriver in the adjacent hole. I found it hard to release the wire without heavy pressure and this might be difficult to release in actual use. I prefer slip wire connection that clamp the wire instead of a wire wrap around the screw.

Bought these for use with Lutron Claro Plates. Color match is as close as you can get without paying $10 per outlet for Lutron brand. These are well-made. The tamper covers aren’t hard to disengage with a plug like cheaper brands.

I love these. Not easy for kids to stick things in there. Heck sometimes it's hard for me to plug things in... maybe mom resistant too..LOL I replaced all of the outlets in my house with these. I reccomend them.

This is the third back I bought. I'm gradually replacing all outlets in our 40+ year old house. These are easy to install, and after about 4 years since the first install, still function well. I've read about people struggling with TR outlets not letting them actually insert a plug. Not with these. Work every time. And did I mention they are easy to install?

I've installed 3 of the Leviton T5825 20 amp outlets in my kitchen last month and have had nothing but problems with all 3 of them. First issue, the plugs won't go straight into these outlets due to the tamper-proof plastic blades. You have to Firmly insert it at an angle. Second issue, an electrical connection won't be made until the plug is 1/4 inch from being fully inserted. Finally, the fully inserted plug won't stay fully inserted and loses it's electrical connection. A poor design. Very Poor. Unfortunately, the entire Leviton consumer Duplex outlet line has the tamper-proof feature. If the tamper-proof feature is not needed you can upgrade to the Leviton 16352 commercial 20 amp outlet. At HD it'll cost $2.64 more than the T5825 outlet. Be safe out there.

Leviton decided to change these so there is a small "Leviton" logo on the bottom edge of the receptacle visible to the world when it is installed. The older versions did not have this. I am in the middle of a project converting my house over to all Decora switches and receptacles. I was about half way done when I bought a few more boxes of these and found this little surprise! Now, half of the new ones will say Leviton and the half I already swapped are blank. The product is pretty good for what it does and I like that the wire can be fastened under a plate that is trapped by the side screw, forming a better connection than a back-stab. I dinged it one star because of the new advertisement molded onto the face of the switch.

These are a good deal and are durable enough that I have not had one break yet out of around 100 or so. These give the added peace of mind that limits a child's ability to stick something into it without a decent amount of force. Be sure to plan ahead and get matching covers. Typical practice is to install these upside down when attached to a switch.

Perfect for today’s Chicago electrical requirements

The TR feature is very good and some places it is code. The only problem I have is the price of them is too much more than regular outlets which costs the customer and consumer more.

Leviton is better quality design and construction than some other brands. I really like the tamper proofing. I have bought the builders 10 pack a month ago. The outlets that were already in my home when I bought it were worn out and would not keep AC cords plugged in. I highly recommend this product.
