The package arrived broken and the box was opend and badly damaged all contents were serched thru and broken

Standard Hard Plastic White Wall Plate This is a standard size white hard plastic triple switch cover. It is the "hard plastic", (not the nylon softer more flexible) type, so is breakable. It came wrapped in a cellophane wrapper which included the screws. However, my package had a hole, and one of the screws was apparently lost. (I was able to use one from the previous broken plate I was replacing). Because this plate is the hard plastic kind, take care when tightening the screws to not tighten too much. Like most plastic plates like this, the plate could crack. This is a standard size plate (not oversized). It installs easily, and looks nice.

This Leviton wall switch plate has a lot of high quality design features that make it easier to install and will make it last longer. First, there is the packaging (see picture) – the screws are in-place in the wall switch cover (with retainer clips – see more on that below) so they do not get lost in the bottom of the packaging and fall out if there is a rip or tear in the packaging. It has metal screws which will last longer than the plastic ones you see in cheaper wall plates – that is a nice feature that is a must have in my opinion! These metal screws will keep their threading far longer than any plastic screw. It has retainer clips on each of the two screws (see picture) – this is a big deal because it prevents loss of the screw as you are trying to screw it into the wall switch. Anyone who has done DIY electrical work around the house knows that those screws can easily fall out of reach. They go behind some nearly immovable appliance or in the darkest corner of the room, and you spend a ridiculous amount of time looking for that lost screw. This little extra feature really does mean a lot! So, I highly recommend this Leviton wall switch plate due to all of these nice features – it really is worth it!

This plate cover is an excellent value. It fit the replacement, old broken plate perfectly. The plate screwed in exactly over the old spot and covered the entire wall switch. I liked the idea the screws were attached to the plate and could not fall out and easily lost. The srewes fell tight into place The new plate wipes off very well with Soap and Water to a great shine

I wanted a change of color in a room that has a nice brown paint so the almond seemed like a good choice. This arrived well packaged. We live in a home built in the 1950s and most of the plate covers are white and many times it is difficult to keep these clean with children, car maintenance, yard work so thinking along this line I thought lets dry an almond plate and see if it stays clean. We have many types of Leviton covers and love the many different styles and colors to choose from.

This traditional Leviton standard toggle switch plate is simple, durable and just what we needed in our rec room kitchen. The plate is made of rigid, tough plastic that does not bend, so it gives a very solid look and feel with no indentations or rippling effect that you may get with the flexible nylon type. This plate is the standard width as opposed to the midsize or oversize plates that might be needed in cases where there is a large gap between the box and the wall board. For installations where the box is flush and tight with the wall board, this plate is perfect and considerably more professional looking. The surface is easily cleaned with any cleaning agent and even just plain water. The retaining washers are a great add as well. Not only will they not be missing when you open the packaging, but they will be pre-positioned so you can hold the plate against the switch with one hand and turn the flat blade screwdriver with the other. No simultaneous juggling of the screw, plate and screwdriver with this plate. Great product that I highly recommend.

The house I just purchased was last updated a few decades ago.  Rather than buying an updated house, my wife decided that she would task me to update all the things she didn't like.  Among the many, many projects my wife had in store for me was a complete replacement of all switches, sockets, and wall-plates.  A relatively simple, yet incredibly time consuming task.  All of this to say, I got very familiar with the electrical isle at Home Depot and of all the options available.  Levitron wall-plates were my most used and they performed very well.  I required two 3-gang wall plates and went with this one. It was easy to install, aesthetically pleasing, and of exceptional quality.  I'm quite pleased with it and would definitely recommend this to anyone with a similar need.

All of this to say, I got very familiar with the electrical isle at Home Depot and of all the options available, this wall plate was among my most used.  I'm afraid I can't agree with the other reviewers who cite them as being brittle.  The screws are not meant to be over-tightened, so perhaps that was the issue.  Regardless, having put close to 18 of these in the house I can say that every one of them worked perfectly. Without exception these were easy to install and they've proven durable.  They're easy to clean and have a professional appearance.  I'm quite pleased with this product. 

Well made and fits well. No problems. The tip with these things is first you have to get each and every light switch in just the right spot, and get them all level too. It can take a little while. Then your plate will be nice.
