Slides work well but tolerance is tight. Make sure gaps on sides of drawers is as close as possible.

These glides are sturdy and reliable -- as well as relatively easy to install. I used 14 of them in a bank of shop drawers supporting heavy woodworking tools, and they glide effortlessly. My only complaint (and I have the same complaint of all competing products) is the included mounting screws. They are simply too small. I would purchase #8 x 1/2" pan head screws (from Home Depot, of course).

I installed a set of these sliders on a large kitchen drawer that had an old, broken slider. The new sliders are absolutely wonderful!! My wife is already asking me to replace several other sliders in the kitchen with these.

I bought slides for five drawers & all release tabs were the same instead of opposite. After installing , the right side pushes down to release & the left side pulls up to release on all drawers.

My son's robotics team used these drawer slides as a lift mechanism for their robot, competing in FIRST Robotics First Tech Challenge 2014 ("Cascade Effect"). The robot has 30 seconds to use an IR beacon to locate the goal, and drop two balls in it. The next stage allows the students to drive the robot, collects balls from the field, and then score again in the high goal during the final 30 seconds. Since that video, they have increased the speed of the lift mechanism, and are looking forward to the next round of competitions. Very few robots can reach the high goal, these drawer slides get the job done.

I just installed these on my desk keyboard tray. They are absolutely solid. NOTE an earlier reviewer mentions that these are individual and two were required per drawer. That is incorrect. One package contains two complete pairs which is what is required for one drawer.

Bought 5 of these across design change for a single cabinet (only 3 in stock first trip, bought other 2 weeks later). Agree with other reviewer about difficult installing / adjusting. Some seem to close well, others no. One of the ones in the second batch, with blue self-close vs. grey, has partially fallen apart - the latch to activate soft-close has popped out upon first close. Great, get to pull it out, go back to store, return ... I need quality HomeDepot, and these are not fitting the bill at all.

These are very well made slides. They are smooth and well worth the extra couple of bucks. However - if you are not "handy" or have never installed slides it may take you a while. The installation instructions are confusing and murky. I gave them to my dog to tear up.

The rails were packaged very well and were an excellent product. They performed 100% better than the cheapies the contractor installed!

These drawer slides are of good quality and no worse to place than others I have done. The problem, as always, is spacing them so they are exactly parallel. If your normal tolerances are 1/16, think 1/32. The width between door slides on the cabinet needs to be equal between the front and back. The door needs to be square with the same width from to back within 1/32. If you meet these tolerances, they will slide like a dream. If you don't, add lots of time and frustration to the project.

i would return these slides if i could get them off! they are locked onto the drawer and i am 1/2 way through installing them! cant open or close them...

If I could give these drawer slides 0 stars, I would do it. They are not so much "soft closing" as they are "resistant to normal opening and closing. " They are also not full extension. Full extension, to me, means that the entire drawer from front to back for 14 inches can be pulled from the cabinet. These are really 3/4 extension. Even if the extension was good, nothing is worse than the open and closing action and the lack of smoothness in this slide. You can't make up for that. Just a bad product all around.

They work great, but be accurate with your measurement, as there is no room for error, even a little.

Instructions were very easy to follow. Solid construction. Installed 2 sets of slides in approx. 15 mins.

I bought these to install in a workbench I built. They seem to be well made, similar to others that I have purchased from other suppliers. I haven't loaded the drawers yet so I don't know how well they will work when some weight is on them and I can't assess their durability. I did note though that the the drawers open much more stiffly than other drawer slides. They are fine for utility purposes but I wouldn't want them in my kitchen or for other such uses.

I made a cabinet and tried to 9nstall these slides and had nothing but a hard time. For some reason they do not want to go close. at full open they are lose. I used bigger screws than the small ones they provided. I have installed lots of slides and these are the hardest ones ever.

I mounted these under a sliding pots and pans holder. The unit was a little springy when fully extended but there was no sign of bending in the rails. Total of about 50 lbs of weight on two rails. If mounted on the side of the drawer I could see it holding much more weight. Rails slide nice and smooth with a locking stop at fully extended.

Initially purchased one to test it out on a drawer in our panty. Was tired of dealing with the lousy sliders that came with the cabinet/pantry assembly, especially since they kept pulling out and dumping the drawers. Admittedly, my wife packs a ton of stuff in each drawer, but I needed something better. After a long bit of internet searching, I decided I could pick one of these babies up at HD and get instant gratification, for only a couple of dollars more. So I did. Brought the slider home. Installation was fairly easy, had to drill a new rear hole to fit the cabinet configuration, but had no issues getting the slider installed. I was so pleased with the way the first drawer worked after I installed this slider, I went back and picked up 5 more and installed them. Was especially easy to install the rest, since I had worked out a method on the first one. Now all of the pantry drawers are full extension, can handle the ton of weight, and I am wondering why I waited so long to do this significant upgrade. Really like the full extension, as opposed to the "3/4" extension on the old sliders. Can see and get to everything in the pantry drawers. Would recommend to anyone with a modest amount of skills and tools. I figure it took me about 20 minutes to install on each drawer, a bit longer on the first one as I figured out what I needed to do to make it fit.

These slides are too thick - they drag on the drawer unless you run the sides of the drawer through the table saw with a dado blade. Same problem on two desks. You can see the difference when compared side-by-side. Also, the package does not say whether you are buying the normal duty slide (60#) or the heavy duty slide (100#).

Does not open or close smooth when you first open and almost closed ? would not buy a nother one !!!

Ball bearing slides with smooth action. It has a small rubber stop at the end of travel to prevent "slamming" action. Note: 2 pack is 1 left & 1 right, not 2 pairs. Used on recent completion of a home bar project. Finished product well worth the extra cost to go with ball bearing.

I have used various types of drawer slides and found that this one is the best of all. Cost a little more but the final results out weights the cost.

These slides are a bit overated for my uses, but in quality furniture--drawers operate noiselessly w/out banging

i used this in a project for invention fair. it worked great!

Have previously installed on one drawer to see how they worked. Loved the quality of the way they operated. So i purchased enough to do the other drawers.

A little extra money but worth every penny. Somethings you should only have to do once and do it right.
