The shed arrived in good condition. The delivery driver was kind enough to put the pallet in my garage because it was raining. The shed seems well built and was easy to assemble. It took about 6 hours for my husband and I to assemble. The shed had much more storage space than anticipated. Overall we are happy with our purchase.

Bought this shed 13 years ago and it's still going strong! Southern California hot sun and 13 years later still looking great.

Doors or gable drilled wrong. Doors won't even shut without excessive force. Way to close together. Everything is lined up and level. Even the gaps are the same all the way around except for the middle. Waste of time and money. I'll just stick to their tables.

Outstanding product! Every single piece was in the 2 boxes, with explicit instructions on assembly. I’m 75 years old, and was able to build it myself, with help from my wife assembling 2 corner panels. I built a pressure treated deck to the required dimensions, and made sure it was perfectly level. The assembly made easy, building it on a level surface. The shed is water tight, and a perfect solution for outdoor storage.

This was ordered online and delivered directly to our doorstep. The directions were typical as far as clarity goes. Do not be tempted to jump ahead. It always takes longer to put together than it looks like reading the directions. We figured a couple days building it together... more like double. All the parts were complete and in great shape. All things considered, the shed is sturdy, looks very appealing and stores all our garden tools etc.

Bought this exact model in 2007 survived 2 hurricanes just recently a tornado!! The tornado actually flipped it over on the doors side so I had no choice but to cut open. Yes straight up solid and buying another one ☝️

Overall, I'm happy with my shed. It's spacious, sturdy, has windows, shelving, skylights, good doors and a floor. I've put together a lot of things in my years and I'll rate the instructions on this project okay. There were many times I couldn't get clear instructions but, then again, I never took advantage of the videos that are offered. I think the design could have another review, specifically the wall corners and how the sides connect to the flooring, and the door latch, which seems to get stuck on a regular basis.

First of all, let me say that I chose this shed due to the size constraints of my property and where I wanted it located. If footprint were no issue, I'd choose a large wooden structure on a concrete pad. That being said, it's a really nice shed for its diminutive size. First, here are the good things about it. Cost was reasonable. Quality is good. Ease of construction was acceptable. You will definitely need a second set of hands for some steps. Aesthetically, it's very nice. It actually fits more stuff than I thought. Now, here's what keeps it from being great. Fit of the door posts was poor into their seating mounts. I had to router out some plastic to make them fit. This was very frustrating. Next, if you're building your shed next to another structure, like your house, it was challenging to install the back walls without being able to get behind them. Lastly, the hook/pegboard system is disappointing. It will hold very light items, but not even a snow shovel. The plastic warps in heat and just bends down. All in all though, it got a bunch of stuff out of my garage. Problem solved.

Easy to assemble. While I built mine by myself if a few hours, it's definitely better with two people. The quality was much better than I expected. I bought two six months ago and so far they are as good as the day I put them in. I searched for a while to find this particular size (8wx5d) because of the room I have behind my garage, and this is the only plastic one I could find.

I would give you 5 stars, but I had a bent screw right off the bat that was crucial for the roof suppoort. Fortunately, I had one in my garage that fit and worked. Love the shed! All of our holiday decorations came down out of the attic and was placed in the shed. Perfect!

Just as I was starting to put this together, I had a bent long screw for the truss. This was going to hold up the whole thing! I found a replacement in my garage that would work! My brother-in-law spent one afternoon (1 to 4 p.m.) and the next morning (10 to 12 noon) and we put this together. All of our holiday decorations fit!!! It rained really hard the day after it was built and it was completely dry inside. So far, I love it!

I had a hard time finding a shed with the dimensions of 8' x 5'. Lifetime has two sheds with those dimensions. The lower priced one does NOT include a window and any accessories. I wanted a window for additional light and ventilation. The model 6406 has everything I needed, size, window and just the right amount of accessories. See attached photos for included accessories. This shed is high quality built and is solid. I read several reviews that indicated problems with the doors opening and shutting properly. Lifetime advises its customers to have a FLAT solid foundation. I prepared ahead of time by having a concrete pad installed before getting the shed. It did take myself and two buddies to put the shed together. Two might be able to do it, but I recommend three. The shed went together without any problems to the doors. The doors work just fine without having to use the provided plastic shimmies in the floor. I was impressed at the quality of the design and how well everything fit together. I only have one (1) negative item to bring up. There was one (1) screw that did not have a properly place enforced hole for the screw to go into. When putting in a screw into the plastic siding without being reenforced, the screw just turns freely without the ability to maintain a firm hold. Considering the numerous screw attachments, having one where the attachment hole is not in the correct location is pretty darn good if you ask me. This one (1) screw not holding does not effect the quality of the build. The shelving is just right and the pegboard strips work perfectly for my needs. I have read about some unhappy customers concerning the pegboard strips not being able to hold much weight and screws strip out of the plastic siding. Having read about that, I only hang small light items, which work just fine. If Lifetime had reenforced screw holes designed for the pegboard strips, that would be nice. However, for my needs everything is great. The Lifetime 8' x 5' model 6406 exceeds my expectations. This shed is shipped in two (2) boxes attached to a wooden pallet. Shipping is via trucking company. Boxes were undamaged and all parts were accounted for. I would highly recommend this shed for anyone needing a small shed. Just right for my wheelbarrow, a couple of propane tanks, garden supplies, fertilizers, pesticides and tools. Oh yes, this shed can be locked if so desired. Standard lock will do just fine, whether it be a combination or key lock doesn't matter. I have nothing of great value and don't have any small children to worry about getting into the pesticides so my shed is not locked. My recommendation if you need this size of shed is to BUY it! I love my new shed, color, size and accessories. Lifetime, your company and products ROCK. Keep up the good work and please don't let quality go down like many companies do.

Well built and perfect size for the side of the house!

It looks beautiful!! Easy to setup by two people, just make sure you have a solid flat base, I used cement tiles. It’s been two months now and with two heavy snowfalls it’s still dry.

I got 90% of the shed put together and everything was great until I had to attach the 2 front roof panels to the gable. The holes do not line up on the gable and the roof to attach. In addition the cross bar reinforcing the gable has a slot in it for the door slide lock and it is about 2" off on the top. The bottom is fits perfectly in so I know everything else is true and lined up. I called customer service explained and they sent out a new piece which is great. However, it is exactly the same. Back roof panels and all walls fit nicely, so it appears something is wrong in their manufacturing. This was out of stock for many months before I was able to order so maybe something is off during the rush to produce? Will be calling customer service once again to see if they have a remedy. But at this point after spending $1K and not having an operable shed is pretty frustrating.

The assembly directions were adequate. My wife helped install walls. My weight was barely enough to pope them into the floor slots. The door support floor inserts can be installed after the walls are in place. A couple of the ceiling panels took a lot of finessing to get all the screws started. After installation was complete, the doors would not close properly. Alignment was almost perfect. I called and was sent replacement metal edge pieces for the doors. Installed an electric outlet and light on the inside and a light on the outside with switches on the inside. I am happy with my new shed.

Very easy to install, and stays beautifull over the years. Must get ride of the snow on the roof during the winter because it might bend. Overall, i would buy again!

Great shed, assembles in under 6 hours. Everything fits really well. Sturdy roof construction with metal support. Would have given it 5 stars if some metal framing for doors could be thought of - this would improve door balancing.

It took about 8 hours to put it together. You can't do some parts alone. Even if my base was straight the door are having a hard time to close. I used the piece they include in the pack to try to fix that. I m hoping that because it's plastic it will settle. Overall happy with it. Just hope it will last long!

The shed seems pretty chintzy; not very strong. The doors don't line up properly. This shed was definitely not worth the over $1500 I paid (not including ground prep and platform I had to pay other people to do). The included shelves aren't particularly useful. I wish I had gone with something else.

I am very pleased with my Lifetime experience. It was back ordered but after two weeks of waiting I received notice that it would be shipped.

We previously purchased this shed for our last home and loved it so much we just got it again! Takes a few hours to build, but is solid and durable. The last one still looked brand new even after years of use.

Easy to assemble. Very thorough instructions.

I bought it 2 months ago and it took me half day to assemble it (I did it by myself, but recommend to do it by 2 persons. This will be more efficient). It meets my expectation.

I am fairly handy as I am a licensed electrician. I put this shed together by myself. The instructions were straight forward and well done. It made it very easy to build. As I have noticed from at least 1 other reviewer, the Doors do not align at all. The shed was built on a level surface and the doors line up as indicated in the instructions. Shims were provided to level the doors but they were not needed. The doors are level. Even after taking off all of the door hardware just to see if the doors can close proper, they do not. The right swing door overlaps the left door by about 1/4" and I have tried everything to correct it. $1150 not very well spent.

Couple of mistakes in the instructions (one spot it referred to wrong part number and one spot it failed to mention how the center peak roof piece needs to go in only one way - instructions just said all three should overlap) but very detailed and it went together pretty easy. Lots of extra parts. Still not 100% sure on how strong it is or how it will handle heavy winds as being composite material I don't have total confidence in the screws holding to plastic holes. If I saw one in the store I might have went with another design. But looks nice and plenty of room.

Description was accurate, very strudy. It took two guys six hours to put-up, not including cement slab. The only problems were in the directions: not very clear and the illustration of the long shelf was wrong. I highly recommend this product.

I am very excited for this shed for my home. It's great for storing things and it looks great. I'm glad I got this. :) Instructions were a little hard to decipher, but I got it put together pretty quickly. Put it all together myself, but I recommend at least 2 people. It took some maneuvering. :)

Assembly was a challenge. Instructions were not clear and the parts were not lined up when putting up the roof. The roof ended up being uneven and had to use clear caulk to the holes left. Shed is a great size but definitely not an easy task to assemble.
