Assembly was a challenge. Instructions were not clear and the parts were not lined up when putting up the roof. The roof ended up being uneven and had to use clear caulk to the holes left. Shed is a great size but definitely not an easy task to assemble.

Went together fairly well and directions were good. Only trouble is that I couldn't get the doors to line up, despite having prepared the surface per included directions.

Assembled the shed today and found one of they key parts needed was not included. I got an extra piece but the wrong piece. So now have to wait a week to get part. I was surprised how thin the walls are for this shed. The doors dont close properly even though lined up and installed correctly. I now have to troubleshhoot figuring out the Doors being able to close properly. The doors bind up in the center, so now have to call support to figure out how to correct. I have several other sheds from other manufacturers and do not have the issues I have with Lifetime. It took two people 7.5 hours to get this shed assembled. A lot of time is spent reviewing instructions, videos, and trying to get pieces lined up properly. The Lifetime 40 minute video is deceptive.

I bought this shed specifically because of the 8x5 dimension, and there don't seem to be many out there in that size. But what a mistake! The other shed I purchased was Keter brand, and after assembling them back to back weekends I will tell you this: Keter is superior in every way. The instructions for the Lifetime shed are awful by comparison. Unclear pictures, many parts with no identification on them, parts being flipped over from one step to the next. If you're not on your toes, it would be easy to make a mistake. And if you're still not convinced, just Google search "Lifetime shed corners" and find out what a nightmare it is to attach the corner pieces to the shed base. The tabs that are supposed to click in are WAY too big for the slots. I was hanging my full 200lb. weight on it and it still was not even close to clicking in. All the how-to videos out there recommend heating the tabs with a heat gun or shaving them down with a knife. These are mass produced sheds, is there nothing Lifetime is willing to do about a very known problem?? Save yourself the headache and buy a better quality brand shed!

Some of the piece are faulty, but cant replace pieces. Would have to take it apart.

Very good quality. Some things are MUCH harder to install than on the video.

The shed looks great but the door handle lick is kind of hard to put lock in and out. Hope there be some spare screws. One of them has a problem and hard to find the exact one to fit.

Shopped around for sheds. Lifetime was the best quality, greatest number of positive feedback (listed here and on other sites) than other brands. Install went well. Instructions are VERY detailed (best I've seen with any assembled furniture or other projects that had instructions) and helpful. Break down every step. There's even videos on assembly if needed. Having someone assist with the roof install is handy. The rest is easy enough. I'm not a mechanic/contractor by any means, but the assembly with the instructions was easy enough. Take your time and don't rush. Look at each step close enough. Some steps have certain details/notes that are important. If you miss them, it may cause issues. This shed needs to be assembled on level ground to have walls, doors and roof line up. Happy with result. Would buy another and recommend it to anyone. Purchase and delivery from Home Depot online went well.

So shed went together really smooth. Only issue is door end channels seem too wide and doors will not close. I tried calling customer service but can not stay on hold for such a long time. I also tried contacting customer service to fix the problem by email with no response after several days. I would give shed five stars but doors too wide and no response from customer service.

The delivery date given to me was for arrival at distribution center not my house It took almost another week to arrive The shed did not fit together very well doors don’t match wound up calling your overseas operations trying to cancel the order but all they did was cancel the assembly I later found out I can’t cancel while in transit but was not told that Really wish I could give a minus 10 rating

Poor quality control. Brackets for doors were too thick and I was on hold 45 minutes with company to determine problem. Had to reinstall brackets. Finished product nice but very difficult to assemble. Colour and finish different inside and out.

Love this shed! It provides a good amount of storage space. Was fairly easy to put together, but is definitely a 2 or 3 man job and takes more than just a few hours. Definitely think it is worth the money spent! When moved to our next home, we will be mounting the base onto a wooden platform for easier function, as we now have it on a gravel base that needed to be leveled better before building.

The doors do not close completely.

The shed is functional, but the door would not line up correctly. This was after we follow the directions..

We were excited to buy a bigger shed for our backyard, and really put a lot of time into checking products and reviews. Well, we should have purchased a different shed. We are very disappointed with this one. Very difficult and timely to put together, missing multiple items (screws, wingnuts, window covering). Things didn't line up, and if we didn't already have it 3/4 put together, I would box it up and return it. Not worth the time, effort and $$.

Great shed. Easy to install. Does require three people to effectively install. Did require call in for missing piece in the package...but over all great shed.......did equip with 8 foot shelf and extreme wind package due to coastal location....would purchase again.

Spent a lot of time looking at reviews for sheds and settled for the Lifetime 8 x 5 foot size. The on-line videos are helpful. The instruction booklet, parts, and pieces were all in order and easy to use. Most of the shed can be built by one person. A second person is needed to hold things in place. Took about 6-7 total hours to construct. Some assembly and tool handling experience will make the job go easier. The shed looks good and holds everything I needed it to. The only part that had me a little concerned was the how the two doors were aligning up when closing. Push the doors together fully closed for a short period of time seemed to set the alignment.

The thumb latch on my shed door had finally failed due to age. Got a hold of customer service and they sent a complete handle replacement package at no charge. I was not expecting that. I would definitely recommend Lifetime products. My shed is still functioning just great.

This shed is exactly what I was hoping it would be. A very neat, clean look and well constructed. Fit my needs perfectly.
