Not dark enough
I purchased the glasses to look at the recent solar eclipse. But turns out that the glasses were not dark enough for safe viewing. Had to rerun them.

Plasma burn table and oxy-fuel track burning
Needed a method of switching from clear safety to #5 filter without using bulky welding helmet or face shield and/or constantly swapping out safety glasses between burn start/stops. I think the flip lens brazing glasses are a good choice for this application.

It fits well on my face, covering the sides of my eye. The shade flips up or can be taken off to be worn under a helmet.
