I was very glad to have this during hybrid learning starting in May 2021. It was invaluable when my students needed to charge their laptops. Such a great concept, and it seemed sturdy. A recent mishap changed my mind, unfortunately. Two students were charging their Chromebooks when one of the outlets spontaneously blew. I'm so glad no one was hurt from the huge spark! So much for surge protection! I guess I just got a defective product. Can't seem to reach the company about the 3-yr warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After many years of using an ordinary extension cord, I finally got the Link2Home 60ft Cord Reel with 4 Outlets and ask myself why I didn't get this any sooner. For someone who uses an extension cord quite often, this reel has made life a little bit easier. The days of attempting to wind up a long extension cord in neat circles by eyeballing it are completely over. This reel winds up the cord smoothly, perfectly and easily every single time, saving much time and hassle. I can plug up to 4 electronic devices to it and not have to worry about it being too much voltage because of the integrated circuit breaker with overload protection. This gives me peace of mind that my electronic devices will be well protected and safe. Definitely can't get that protection with an ordinary extension cord. A whole lot easier to carry around on the go versus a huge bundle of tangled cord which gets frustrating to have to detangle every single time. The cord is very thick and extremely durable, tough enough for everyday usage. 60 feet is more than enough to extend to wherever it is that's needed. I highly recommend it!

This unit is very handy works great for home use and while we camp. You can plug in multiple items and not have an issue very great quality so easy to reel up the cord the cord is long enough to reach out. Love the four outlets on and off switch and a circuit breaker I definitely recommend you will not be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item seems simple, but it is just brilliant. I have owned power strips and power cords, but this is the first one that is in a real and has four built-in outlets. The real is very easy to unwind and pull out the cord and the cord extends 60 feet which is incredible. Winding up the cord is the real asset because it is not only quick but very neat. In the past I have struggled to manage long cords, which just become a huge nuisance. Once it is plugged in, the four outlets are incredibly useful as it allows me to keep for devices plugged in at once, which is important in the workshop and just important at home. I will be getting another one just like this to keep one in my house and one in my garage. My wife really loves this because I do longer have massive tangles of extension cord, which create a tripping hazard. Highly recommend!!

The functionality of this unit is great/. It has a 35ft cord and 4 outlets. It is not good if you do not have much space. I use this in my garage. It has a master power switch and a surge protector button to reset it if it trips. I wouldn’t call it rugged. The plastic is just tough enough but I wouldn’t toss it into the back of a pickup truck. There is just enough room for the power cord and comes with a reel to wind up the cord. There is not a guide so you have to manually move the cord back and forth to wind it up. Overall, a good product with good features.

I have to give this product my 'Good" rating only, it's a nice cord reel and all - 14AWG, 35 ft. cable to ensure no power drop, 4 grounded outlets 15 AMP rated outlets. However, the circuit breaker with overload protection is rated at 125v 1250w 10A for all outlets combined total load. The ON/OFF switch with power light indicator is located between the outlets and it's coved by a 3-year limited warranty. There you have it and nice extension cord in a reel, with and 10a combine rating with a HD rating with it's 14 AWG cord.

This is a nice cord reel compared to the typical 50 gauge reel. I have one that is just that and having a slightly heavier gauge wire and another 10 feet is handy. The reel is easy to operate and the cord keeper is handy for keeping the cord under control as it is played out. This pairs well with a generator when you want something to grab and take to the field to put out and take up quickly with minimal effort. The 4 outlet setup is handy and since you have heavier wire you should be able to support 4 tools a bit more safely. A built in surge protector is a nice touch too. If you consider the price of a cord reel, cord and surge protector bought separately it is not a bad del to get it all in one neat package. If like me you go to length to keep things neat it’s a good little tool.

60 foot. 14/3 Extension Cord Storage Reel with 4 Grounded Outlets and Surge Protector. My only concern is the 13 amp rating on this extension cord. Works great for trimming pecan trees with our electric chainsaw. Sixty feet is an interesting choice, but I often needed the extra ten feet and didn’t have it. I do have a concern about the cord being wrapped while in use as my son had a 100 foot cord that he melted while using it still mostly coiled; that cord is now 35 feet long after replacing an end. The circuit protection on this one should take care of that. The built in “lock” is a nice touch to keep unwanted loosening while in use and storage.

I am going to tell you what a difference my new Extension Cord Reel with 4 grounded outlets, on & off switch and surge protection had made using the female end of an long extension cord. First look at the two old one socket end cords that I was using with one female socket in the photo attached. The Feature of having 4 augmented sockets to use on the working end of the Link2Home cord and storage reel is an Advantage not having to find an extra multi-plug to add on the end of the other cords. The Benefit I get of having 4 sockets that are grounded, surge protected and an on & off switch on the face of the reel makes my time more useable for working on the job at hand. And, when I am finished the line feeder at the bottom along with the crank handle and the metal frame stand make it easier to crank the cord back onto the reel. The carrying handle with a comfortable grip when I am carrying or winding in and letting out the cord is an added Feature not found on many reels. It also has a clip on the end of the cord to clip it to the rim of the reel keeping it from flapping when carried and coming undone in storage or when carried. All round this storage reel with the above mentioned Features is a needed asset when working at a distance from a fixed outlet.

Boy oh boy did this Link2Home 60ft extension cord come in handy…I’d say it was a life saver, but more accurately I’d consider it more of a “life taker”. After the untimely demise of my 738lb whale of a sister-in-law we had to roll up the body in a rug and then used the extension cord to tie up that huge piece of blubber in order to dump it in the East Bay. Needless to say, a great product!
