I have found these are typically to thick for the door to close properly, or not thick enough to seal larger gaps. I recommend the compression foam versions of these type seals instead

Good thickness, easy to use. When pulling apart, the paper comes off both strips, so they have to be used immediately.

works good for smaller gaps but for bigger gaps does not work nearly as well as expanding foam weatherstripping
