1. It is only made to increase water temperature between 15 and 20 degrees higher then what the water temperature coming into the house is. So if the water temperature is 50, you’re going to get between 65 and 70 degrees. 2. I purchase it twice and water leaked from the sealed compartment. The leaks was very small but it is an electric water heater. What if water gets into the electrical components while you’re showering.

It is very eficient shower heater and good for easy instalation.

Shower head fitting is smaller than normal showerheads

Purchases item did not work went back and changed it again and secound one did not work either .

Does not support low water pressure

Requires a certain amount of water pressure to actuate the internal switch. I have 30 - 50 psi and it always works. Be aware the water volume and pressure coming out of the shower head is greatly reduced because it must travel around inside the heater before exiting. Less water pressure setting is hotter. More water pressure is just warm. This is stated in the instructions: for hotter water temperature, turn the water pressure down. PROS: Well made; easy to install; very inexpensive solution; heats up the water very well. CONS: water pressure coming out of shower head is greatly reduced.
