There is not a whole lot you can say about a battery until you have used it for a while. I have had mine for about 1 month and so far so good. The main reason I picked this battery because it is rechargeable. Originally, I was going to use it for my electric start push mower, but that requires a 12 volt battery. So, I decided to use it in a battery back up system in my home. As I said, so far - so good. When picking your battery , make sure the voltage and amperage will work for your application. Also, be sure that the physical size of the battery will work for you too!!

We have a bizarre backyard full of crazy yard art including a school traffic sign - we were needing a new battery and this MIGHTY MAX 6-VOLT BATTERY came to the rescue; was easy to install and works great; this battery can also be used for the shop lights we also have in our hobby areas, among other things, but we need it for the school traffic sign

I got this for my alarm, but it wasn't the right one. It's smaller and thinner than the existing one. So it made the touch screen control on the system blink and go in and out. I checked the numbers again and was off. My bad. An electrician friend said these are useful but not for that. What shocked me is that this ran my alarm at all! It's clearly powerful. My recommendation is to double check prior to ordering just to be sure you don't make the same mistake.

This battery made the perfect back-up battery for my security lighting in my garage. I have had trouble finding a good battery that will power my LED security lights in my garage and lets face it, when you have as many tools as I do you need to keep the thieves away when the power goes out. It was just as easy as getting a new connector for my backup lighting timer and when the power goes out I have lighting in and around the garage for several hours. Great buy. The Mighty Max model ML7-6, 6-volt, 7-amp hour sealed lead acid rechargeable battery is a reliable and quality battery to use. This battery is designed to be recharged on a standby float basis and then used, on a cyclical application basis. It has a positive and negative push-on electrical tabs that are 3/16” wide by 1/32 thick. The battery measures 5 7/8” wide, 1 3/8” thick, by 3 5/8” high. It is a non-spill able, sealed lead acid battery and therefore it can conveniently be shipped in the United States Postal System. It is an excellent back-up battery for a rechargeable emergency lights, security systems and other rechargeable 6-volt applications for the model of the battery.

Anyone who has a security system knows that when the power goes out, the back up battery is in charge. Unfortunately, it's only going to last so long, about 24 hours at most. I found this out during Super Storm Sandy a few years ago. So, when I saw the MIGHTY MAX BATTERY 6-Volt 7 Ah Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) Rechargeable Battery available at The Home Depot, I grabbed it immediately and placed it in my cart. It will serve as insurance for the time being, but when the power goes out and my current battery seems overworked and depleted, I will have a replacement on hand that is powerful enough to keep my home protected until the lights come on.

Hooked up to a solar panel and don’t have to worry about charging it I have it for a week to use it for my solar. It does not included wire harness or mounting accessories. Need to buy those for that battery. I had to charge to it first to be sure it was in full before to use it. So far it seems to be good. it is less expensive and more powerful than brands. It is exact replacement for the expensive APC battery backup. I like that I can use it inside enclosed and indoor environments without leaking or maintenance. Perfect to have it for emergency for lights, security.....

I built a hunting shack on a remote property of mine I like to run away to. It has no power which is fine with me most of the time.I built a solar lighting system for those times I might need it and the MIGHTY MAX BATTERY 6-VOLT 7 AH SEALED LEAD ACID (SLA) RECHARGEABLE BATTERY. is the perfect size for the limited time I need to use it. Haven't had it long enough to vouch for durability, but it works great now!
